  Safeguard replaced my siding and roof. Within a year, pieces of the siding were coming undone and had to be fixed. Safeguard did not adequately install flashing on the roof, and now I have extensive damage to the sheathing and subfloor along one side of my house. They refuse to take responsibility and have said they will not even come out to review the damage without charging me $250 upfront. Unless you hate money and love property damage, I’d stay away from Safeguard.

  Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We have had the opportunity to review your account and would like to clarify some facts. We were contracted to replace the roof and three pieces of siding on your home by the previous homeowner in May 2018. At that time, we did not receive any reports of leaks from the original homeowner. Shortly after the initial work, our technician returned to repair one piece of siding. In November 2018, we were contacted again when the neighbor's house burned down, and we were hired to replace only the damaged section of the siding. Then, in July 2019, the previous homeowner contacted and hired us again to replace another section of siding damaged by hail. It is important to note that the previous homeowner only contracted us to replace the roof and some sections of siding in 2018. During this entire period, we were never informed of any leaks. The first time we were contacted by you as a new homeowner was in June 2020. At that time, you reported that a piece of siding (the top piece) had come off during a windstorm and was hanging. Although the warranty was registered to the previous homeowner, we sent a technician to repair it at no cost to you. Recently, you reached out to us again regarding a leak you discovered, and you emailed us some photos. The photos show screws in the outside corner near the location you indicated as the source of the leak. However, those screws were not installed by us. We explained that to accurately locate the leak—whether it's coming from the siding, the outside corner, or possibly even a window—we would need to send someone out to inspect what was installed in 2018. This would require charging for our technician's time. Please note that we have already extended a one-time courtesy service call to you. Your assertion that we replaced your siding and roof, and that pieces were falling off within a year while the flashing was installed incorrectly, is simply inaccurate.

  I had repairs to be done to my roof and gutter. The work was not completed as I was quoted. I asked for a different crew as this one smashed my old gutter guards back but charged me for new ones. The owner said, "I was told you were happy with the work " when I wasn't even home when they finished working and left. The same two males came out to complete it after I had to ask a few times. I had to ask for a detailed invoice of what was done, only to get a copy of the quote which was not itemized at all. Note Durban construction does nothing, they send out another company. They left all construction debris on my garden and killed one of my plants. I honestly don't know what this guy actually does.

  The company was great to work with. They installed our roof quickly and helped us with the insurance claim. Overall, the company was phenomenal. I would highly recommend them. Igor and Sherry were great to work with.

  Highly recommend, Kevin and Safeguard. Kevin came out on short notice to diagnose an issue with our roof. He was excellent about communicating what was causing the issue as well as what he recommended to fix it. He made the repair during the same visit and did a fantastic job. He also provided us with photographs of the repair. It was a fantastic experience start to finish.

  The wind caused a piece of aluminum fascia to start dangling from my house causing all kinds of noises when the wind blew. I called Safeguard and they had someone out the next day to fix it. It was fast and priced right. I didn't have to jump through any hoops.

  I have worked with Safeguard for many years, for my roof replacements and other construction issues, such as leaks to my house. I have always been super happy and satisfied with the work, from initial quotes to completion of the job(s). They are very professional, courteous, and friendly- they have the most polite and thorough crews/teams. They also worked with me and my insurance throughout my claim processing for my hail damaged roof, and would not give up until we got the needed result and conclusion.   Safeguard completed the work on my front entrance with perfection! David was excellent in explaining what would be done and what I could expect. The scheduling of the work was a breeze and worry free. The crew that did the work cleaned everything up and the soffit and header work on the front entrance looks awesome! We are pleased!

  I have had my roof replaced in the past and I found that safeguard did a much better job. I was impressed that the salesman showed up the day the work was done. The foreman answered all my questions. And they did a good job in cleaning up my yard. I would definitely hire them again.

  Have used Safeguard in the past and had fantastic results. Brought them out again a few years later. Things haven't changed. As good as they were before. I remembered Roberto when I saw him this next project. He's such a kind soul. I would definitely recommend Safeguard Construction Company.
