  Sadly, we had a less than ideal interaction with this company. We requested a quote to replace some sheathing on an exterior fascia of a home. They quoted quickly and said once a deposit is received work would commence in 14 days. We went with them due to time constraints and their willingness to start when we needed them to; 14 days after deposit. They stressed that the deposit would be necessary to be placed on the schedule. So, the next day we walked the payment to their office and confirmed our start date of the 27th of May. We were all set. Due to the home being placed on the market time was of the essence. One week later we checked in to make sure date was still a go….. yes, still a go. Bring us to today…. Less than 24 hours from start of project we get a call from the guy Tyler who quoted the job saying they would not be starting tomorrow as planned and we could come get our deposit back. So, under a strict timeline this guy and the company he works for took us up to one day before our start date after wasting 14 days of our time and simply declined the work. Such a disappointment and shows a complete lack of respect for their customers. Push push push for deposit to get on schedule…. Pay them… get on schedule….. wait for two week start….. one day prior, cancel. Ridiculous waste of our time and reflects poorly on this company. I Do Not Recommend!!!!

  A&E did my roof and siding in 2018, when I noticed cracked and broken shingles on my gutter line and swollen rotting LP trim around some of my windows I had them come out to inspect it. After the inspection where THEY acknowledged the roof edge was installed too far over the gutters which was causing the breaking, and the LP trim wasn't installed properly at the bottom allowing for air flow they gave me an estimate of $2,000 to fix the issues. When I asked why I would have to pay to fix what THEY acknowledged was installed improperly they said it's out of warranty. I'm sorry but you can't tell me it was done wrong and then try to make me pay to fix the issues they caused.

  Chris Newton is a really great guy to go out of his way to help me out it was so greatly appreciated. Okay I got on here as you asked me to do to give you a review cuz you came and patched up the roof until your company can see what was going on with my insurance company about repairing the hail damage on my roof now you made me sign a paper stating that you would be the one fixing my roof I've been calling you for 2 days. I have not heard back from you on what was the outcome on the roof being fixed. I go to check out The claim it has just been closed. I hope you all didn't say you came and did the work because no work has been done on my roof whatsoever.

  I cannot speak to the quality of the roofing job, only the the crew (that day) & the crew manager. The job was in the Alshuler subdivision in Aurora, IL. The crew was blasting their taste in music farther than the sound of rakes or hammers. Obviously, the sound of work is a given. However, when I aproached the crew manager (he was wearing a silly fur-trimmed, white jacket to a jobsite), he blew me off and immediately told me to call the police. I tried to explain that was unnecessary. I simply was asking his crew to use headphones or discontinue the loudspeaker. The crew manager was a jerk. Skip this company. You and your insurance company have better options AND your neighbors will thank you, too. --Bad on you, crew manager in the white, fur-trimmed hood. You didn't listen

  Two of your employees in your company van drove into my yard carelessly. Just to go back towards the direction they were coming from. They ran over a large stone as they continue onto my yard as they reversed.

  We recently had the pleasure of working with A & E and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. They handled everything for us full roof replacement, soffit, fascia, siding (James Hardie), gutters, and even our garage doors. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The crew was efficient, respectful, and kept the job site clean every single day. When the project was finished, everything was spotless you could tell they take pride in their work. The quality of workmanship is top-notch. Everything looks amazing, and we’ve already received compliments from neighbors. Great communication, honest people, and excellent results. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and the work they do. Highly recommend A & E to anyone looking for roofing, siding, or exterior work. We would absolutely use them again

  Benito and A&E crew were great to work with. Very diligent working with our insurance company and guiding us to the ideal roof replacement and related repairs. The work crews were efficient, extremely hard working, and outstanding cleanup. I highly recommend A&E for any roof or gutter work.

  A&E Roofing and Siding are the most professional and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Replacing our roof, siding and gutters due to storm damage is extremely stressful. Their work ethic is second to none and Benito addressed every concern I had about taking on a project of this size.   Benito and Fernando helped me with my project. Benito handled my insurance company and fought for me to get a new roof, siding with gutters. He also fought for my garage siding as well. Fernando kept me on top of things that I had to do on my end. My project was stalled due to the Chicago weather. Fernando sent me reminders when the weather turned to get my lines covered so that the work could be completed and it was completed on the first warm day in February. Yes! February. I didn’t think it would be done that early, but it was. The only thing I would change is to have the construction crew let me know when they arrive. They were unloading the material while we were still in bed. We didn’t even hear them pull into the driveway. I have a difficult driveway at a dead end, and all the material had to be moved to get my car out. They are too punctual. I don’t get up before the sun, but they do. The house looks great. The two of them work great as a team and I would love to do business with them again.

  Had a flat roof section on an addition that was at the end of it's life - Pastor Cruz in sales gave EXCELLENT advice and quote, Project Manager Kevin Rodriquez did EXCELLENT customer service and follow up - interacting pre-, during, and post-job, and Forman Dan, who led his team - strategically timing the work to handle the incredible storms that interrupted the job, and keeping our roof leakproof throughout what ended up being a two-day job. A+++ marks for quality of work, effort above and beyond, and overall professionalism. Would highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

  My experience with Benito DeLeon at A&E Roofing has been great! He has taken a lot of time to help clarify my questions on roofing options and to direct me to getting problems solved efficiently and cost effectively. He made sure that what I ordered was the right fit for what I needed. He saved me a lot of time and money. He is polite, knowledgeable, and very patient.   All I can say is thank you!!!! It's long story but A & E roofing was extremely honorable when my insurance company was not. It's great to see a company stick to their word regardless of paperwork. I highly recommend A&E Roofing and would use them again in a heartbeat. Sales Rep/ inspector Benito was a man of his word and his team did a great job.   Mr. Deleon was very professional and very professional. My roofing was extremely worn out and needing to be done asap. I called A&E Roofing to do the job after seeing great work they did on my sisters' roof. He even fought when my house insurance tried to deny the claim and they kept fighting until the insurance approved it. They are extremely fast working. They only took 1 day to do the job. Now I have a wonderful roof to host christmas with my family. I highly recommend them.

  Benito was an excellent manager in completing our roof work last year. He came couple of times to show samples, very professional and easy to work with. He called back six months after the job is completed to make sure that everything was done properly.

  We have used A&E to maintain and regularly inspect our existing roof for a number of years. Recently we needed them to replace our existing roof and gutters. Benito DeLeon and Fernando Castellanos met with us and made the whole process worry-free and seamless from the outset.
