We also wanted to clarify that requiring phone calls only is **not** S&G Roofing's policy. We communicate with our customers by phone, email, text message, and through our estimating system. Email is a normal part of our communication throughout the entire roofing process. If someone representing themselves as S&G Roofing told you that they would not communicate by email, we'd like to investigate that immediately. Please contact our office at your earliest convenience and ask to speak with management.   Should have known when it took 3 attempts to get a quote there could be problems. There were issues on install day- I did not get the protection system I had asked for and the foreman lied ab getting it and used tarps instead. Caused damage to my plant beds- no apology from the foreman when I showed him. They damaged my trim and got paint on my new roof in their attempt to fix the damage. When foreman gave a walk through he didnt so much as apologize like I should be fine with it. Ok fine things happen, and Im not much for negative reviews that knit pick so moved on. Where the problem comes in is that my roof has since leaked (about 5 months after install). The owner came in dec 2025 and found the cause and said they would fix it. The cause was unusual so I dont hold it against them they missed it at install. My issue is that after this, I waited patiently for the holidays with no call. I waited again when 3 weeks later snow fell. I waited 3 more weeks from when all the snow melted to call and ask why they hadnt followed up. Girl swore up and down Id receive a call Tuesday and I must be next on the list. Here we are after close of business Wed and no call. Had tons of issues getting warranty paperwork as well. The crew is fine but the business is clearly a once you pay me I dont care kind of place. I am sure they have no intentions of fixing this issue at this point and are ignoring me. Go with Pinnacle. Really wish I had. Id probably have roof that doesn't leak by now.

I also apologize for the poor communication after the owner identified the unusual leak cause and for the delays getting warranty paperwork to you. We want to make this right and will prioritize completing the promised repairs, addressing any damage, and getting your warranty documentation in order.   Requested an estimate, never received it. Called back multiple times and was told they had the measurements and it was almost ready. Went with another company that was more reliable.

  We were pleased with the roof replacement on my garage a couple years ago. Unfortunately I cannot say that about the roof repair/replacement that I need for my mudroom on the back of my house. A representative came out a little over a month ago. He said that the roof looked fine and made some suggestions to stop the leak. We did those but next time it rained it was still leaking. Tried for a couple weeks to get a hold of the representative who gave us his card. Was finally able to reach him once and he said he'd look at the pictures that he took to see if he could do an estimate; if not he would stop back. That never happened. Finally called the main number and scheduled an appointment for September 15th and he was a no show. When we reached out to the company on Monday the person that answered the phone tried to say that I called at around 9:30 in the morning and canceled the appointment. That she spoke directly to me. I asked her if she recognized my voice, she said she speaks to a lot of people. Interesting that the hours for their office on Saturdays are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. So she must have been there a whole half hour early before she was supposed to start her job and answered this call? There is absolutely no way that I called and canceled the appointment. My roof is leaking; why would I cancel the appointment? Why would some strange woman know that I had an appointment and have a vendetta against me and cancel my appointment? She apologized and said the only thing I can do is reschedule I said how can I even trust you people to show up. This is a small job and that was their way of not wanting to do it. My roof is leaking and it needs to be fixed ASAP. Will have to find a company willing to show up, provide an estimate and repair/replace my roof before winter. The runaround with this company was just unbelievable. I would not recommend this company.

  0% financing if you want to pay over 12 months. Completely disgusted by the financing process and lack of communication, would've ditched this option sooner had I known that. Not practical when a roof can cost over $25k. Also slow to get answers through the sales process, I would recommend other local contractors in the Albany area that are more polished.

  Their business office is awful to work with. We have a skylight needing to be replaced next year but will be finding another company to use after this experience.

  Just rating the first call. We are under contract for a home that needs a new roof. Won’t give a free quote because we don’t own it. Claims they would when we own it, but I do wonder if that is true. It has already been inspected- don’t need to pay for a new inspection. Needs a roof…. When we own it will find a company willing to compete for the business.

  I'm not sure what's his name is but he is very disrespectful I asked him a simple question about parking because his vehicles are taking most of the parking on my block and he turns around with attitude tells me what I asked was a stupid question I understand roofing isn't easy and that they been there all morning but to talk to someone who approached him with respect to get that attitude and disrespect was very uncalled for I would love to see if he would talk to a man that way

  Recently had two roofs replaced by S & G Roofing. Very happy with the work, they showed up on time, worked hard all day, cleaned up like they were never here, and offered the best price of the four estimates I had received. Yes, I highly recommend them.

  We got a total roof replacement. It was a seamless process from the first meeting to the completion. We were kept in the loop the entire time. Everything was cleaned up afterwards.

  S&G replaced my roof which was not a straight forward job. They repaired rotten rafters and replaced over 70 sheets of plywood. Amazingly they completed the entire job in one day! The clean up crew did an amazing job too. I am very pleased. I would highly recommend this company. I am a general contractor and have been thru many roofing companies and they are the best yet!

  Needed my porch roof replaced and structure fixed. These guys got someone to me fast and knew exactly what he was doing. Talked me through the entire process gave me a great price compared to others. Upon doing the actual job showed me things they found and concerning things I should address. Their team did great work and picked up their stuff perfectly afterwards. I'm extremely pleased with the work that was done.

  Mark, Josh and their crew were great to work with. Phenomenal communication throughout the process, very accommodating for scheduling and thoroughly addressed all of the many questions I had. They did a full re-deck in 1 day and the new roof looks great!
