  I Had gutters replaced last summer. Didn't get rain for several weeks. After the first rain had a lot of issues. There were numerous leaks especially in the right angle connectors. My roof has eight right angles! Also one section was not plumb so the whole section has several inches of water after any rain (see photo below). I sent a list of issues and a number of emails to Stephen who replied multiple times with dates or time-frames but never followed up until he finally completely ghosted me. Example From Stephen: Sorry for the delay. Hope all is well. I was away for a couple of weeks. Just got back yesterday. I am working on scheduling today/tomorrow and your service call is definitely on the top of my priority list. I will be in touch to set something up. If you have problems expect to get Ghosted!!!!

  At first, everything with our new gutters seemed fine. The installation was completed and paid for, and on the surface, it looked like a good job. However, after several months of observing how the gutters performed during rain, I noticed some serious issues. The main problem was that the downspout was placed in the wrong spot. It didn’t solve the issue we originally had — water pooling in front of the front door. In fact, the setup wasn’t helping at all. We eventually had to reroute the spout ourselves so that the water would drain onto higher ground instead. Another issue was that a downspout from the upper roof wasn’t connected to the lower gutter. This caused water to dump directly onto the lower roof, which would damage the roofing material over time. I reached out to the company multiple times by phone and text to get advice or help with fixing these issues, but I never received a single response. In my opinion, gutter work can’t truly be reviewed the day it’s finished — you have to wait and see how it performs after rain. Unfortunately, while the job looked fine at first, problems showed up later, and there was no follow-up or support from the company when I needed it.

  We live in the town of Colonie. Just had seamless gutters installed on our shed/garage. Steve at 1st Choice did an amazing job. Look no farther if you want seamless gutters, new or replaced, on your home. It was incredible, start to finish. Everything was totally picked up, you would never know he was here except for the great gutter job. Can’t say enough about Steve and 1st Choice, great company and job. Give him a call for small or large jobs.

  Great service and communication! We had repair and cleaning work done as well as covers put on our Colonie home. Also had the house pressure washed. The job was done quickly with updates along the way. Also reasonably priced! I would recommend Stephen and his company very highly.

  Stephen was friendly and the pricing was reasonable. He was able to get the job completed sooner than anticipated. He installed gutters on a pavilion and helped evaluate and fix an overflowing gutter issue on our house. I would use his services again and recommend him to others.
