we wanted a metal roof and honestly didnt know much going in. RVAX ran us through the whole thing, what to expect and how long it would take. the quoting part was painless and once we booked it they showed up ready to go. install took a few days and they kept things moving the whole time. seeing it go from the old shingles to the new metal roof was kind of cool to watch. it looks great up there and I'm not going to be worrying about this roof for a long time!

Got the roof and windows done together which I think saved us some hassle compared to doing two separate projects. The old windows were original to the house, single pane, and you could feel the draft standing three feet away in winter. RVAX coordinated it so the roof crew and window crew weren't tripping over each other, which seems basic but I've heard horror stories. Our place over in North Aurora looks noticeably different now. The windows especially changed the curb appeal more than I thought they would, the frames are so much thinner.

Our house had a number of problem areas so we asked RVAX for a roof repair. They were thorough, explained everything, didn't try to upsell. The repairs were done neatly, the roof has held up perfectly

Metal Roofing: An Energy-Efficient Choice for Illinois Homes If you're looking for a roofing material that performs well in every season, metal roofing is worth considering. Many metal roofing systems are designed to reflect more solar heat than traditional roofing materials, helping reduce attic temperatures during hot Illinois summers. Combined with proper ventilation and insulation, a metal roof can contribute to improved energy efficiency and potentially lower ComEd bills. It's also built to perform well through Illinois' changing weather conditions, from summer heat to winter snow.
