They gave a bid, took a large deposit, gave excuses for delay of roof replacement and deck cover rebuild, never did the job, and kept the deposits. Now they are out of business, won't return calls or letters in attempts to refund the deposit amount of $18,000. Not recommended for any job.

RROC was paid to replace my roof, fascia, demolish and dipose of my carport, replace 1 gutters and build my new carport on March 31st, 2026, AND AS OF JUNE 2, 2026 THEY HAVE NOT COMPLETED ANY WORK AT ALL IN OR AROUND MY HOME AT 816 9TH STREET IN VADER, WASHINGTON 98593.

We paid a $5,000 deposit for a roofing project and had a very disappointing experience. Communication was extremely poor — our calls were rarely returned, and we were repeatedly given installation dates that never happened. We kept getting excuses and false promises instead of honest updates. After months of delays and no clear communication, we lost trust in the company completely. I would be very cautious before giving this company a deposit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely appreciate the feedback. Our before-and-after photo program is designed to offer homeowners an opportunity to receive promotional pricing in exchange for allowing us to document the project. Availability within that program is limited and based on current marketing needs, which is why timelines and discounts can vary. That said, we understand how that conversation may have felt and never want anyone to feel pressured into making a same-day decision. Pricing in the trades can vary significantly depending on materials, scope details, labor standards, warranty coverage, and project management oversight. We always aim to provide transparent, detailed estimates so homeowners can make informed comparisons. We also apologize if you continued receiving follow-up calls after requesting removal. That is not our intention, and we will ensure your contact information is removed from our outreach list immediately. I can not find your name in our system. If you would like to confirm directly, please feel free to call us at 833-438-7762 or email support@rrocexteriors.com. We respect every homeowner’s decision to gather multiple opinions and encourage customers to choose the contractor that best fits their comfort level and budget. Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

Thank you for taking the time to provide detailed feedback. While we appreciate your acknowledgment of our team’s professionalism and the product quality, we sincerely apologize for the delays and installation concerns you experienced. A 265-day timeline for a front door installation is not the standard we aim to deliver. While material lead times and manufacturer delays can occur, communication should have been proactive and consistent throughout the process. It’s clear we fell short in that regard, and we take that seriously. We are also concerned to hear about the hardware installation issue. That should have been handled correctly on-site. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as workmanship accuracy is just as important as customer service. Your point is well taken — true customer service includes timeliness, competence, and execution, not just courtesy. We will be reviewing this project internally to identify where breakdowns occurred and how to prevent similar situations moving forward. If you’re open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to review your experience in more detail. Please contact us at 833-438-7762 or support@rrocexteriors.com. We value the feedback, even when it’s difficult to hear, because it helps us improve.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that your follow-up communication has been frustrating — that is certainly not the experience we want anyone to have. When a homeowner requests a quote, our system does schedule follow-ups to answer questions and provide support if circumstances change. However, once someone asks to be removed from contact, that request should absolutely be honored. We apologize if that did not happen in your case. Please email us directly at support@rrocexteriors.com or call 833-438-7762 so we can immediately place your number on our internal do-not-contact list and confirm removal. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will review our processes to ensure this does not continue.

I had inquired of a quote 1 time, decided to go through a different company and now suck with them calling me, leaving voicemails, and emailing me daily weeks later. Even though I have blocked their number, they find a different number to try to reach me at. It’s annoying and comes off as one of those scam telemarketers. Never again.

We’re sorry to hear this has been your experience. That is not how we want our company to be perceived, and we understand how repeated outreach can feel frustrating. When a homeowner requests a quote, our system does generate follow-up calls and emails for a period of time. However, if you’ve decided to move forward with another company and no longer wish to be contacted, that request should absolutely be respected. We apologize if that did not happen promptly in your case. Please contact us directly at support@rrocexteriors.com or call 833-438-7762 so we can immediately place your information on our internal do-not-contact list and confirm removal across all outreach channels. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will review our communication processes to ensure they align with homeowner preferences.

The RROC estimator showed up on time. Brandon and I discussed basics initially. After explaining the details of selling my house, we got into more details and pricing options. RROC has flexible financing options and is willing to accommodate a persons specific requirements when there are a number of variables involved.

If you are looking for an honest and thorough estimate, I highly recommend RROC Exteriors. I had the pleasure of meeting Nikko Scott for my estimate, and he went above and beyond. Dealing with exterior projects can be stressful, but Nikko made the process easy. He was incredibly patient, took the time to walk me through every detail, and clearly knows his stuff. It is rare to find someone this thorough and professional. Thanks, Nikko!

Exterior projects can definitely feel overwhelming, so it’s great to know he helped make the process clear and comfortable for you. We take pride in making sure homeowners understand their options and feel confident about their decisions, and we’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Nikko. Thank you again for recommending RROC Exteriors.

Thank you for your review! We truly appreciate you recognizing the difference between simply replacing shingles and installing a complete roofing system. Our approach focuses on the entire system — ventilation, underlayment, flashing, and overall performance — because that’s what protects a home long-term. We’re also committed to keeping our pricing competitive while maintaining high installation and material standards. Thank you again for your support. I didn’t go with this company since they subcontract all their work and the salesman was pushy. Now I can’t get them to stop calling and texting me, no matter how many times I tell them to take me off their lists.

Thank you for your feedback. We respect every homeowner’s decision when selecting a contractor and understand that not every company is the right fit for everyone. Like many established exterior contractors, we work with vetted, licensed installation crews while maintaining project management oversight and warranty standards through RROC Exteriors. This allows us to ensure quality control while scaling efficiently. That said, we understand that some homeowners prefer different business models. Regarding the continued calls and texts — we sincerely apologize. That is not the experience we want anyone to have. We take removal requests seriously and will ensure your contact information is immediately added to our internal do-not-contact list. Please email us at support@rrocexteriors.com or call 833-438-7762 so we can confirm removal right away. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused. Repeated calls or texts after you’ve clearly asked to be removed from contact is not acceptable, and we understand why that would feel overwhelming. Our system does generate follow-ups after estimates, but once a homeowner communicates that they’ve moved forward with another contractor and no longer wish to be contacted, that request should be honored immediately across all communication channels. If that did not happen, that is a breakdown on our end. We are reviewing our outreach processes to ensure removal requests are properly flagged and enforced. Please contact us directly at support@rrocexteriors.com or 833-438-7762 so we can immediately confirm your placement on our internal do-not-contact list and ensure all communication stops. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

My negative review is specific to our overall customer experience and poor communication from RROC. The roof itself seems to be holding up fine. Initially, the sales people came to our house for several hours (yes, hours) despite prompts that it was getting late (it was approaching 10pm) and we needed to wrap up. We were impressed by the sales presentation and decided to move forward. From there, there were a series of problems. RROC told us our order was scheduled to be delivered, before we had selected our colors/products. When we called our sales point of contact, to find out what was being delivered, since we hadn't even made decisions yet, he told us he'd been let go (gotta give that guy credit for even answering our call, when he'd just been fired!) RROC should have let us know and updated our point of contact as soon as possible. Eventually, we sorted out the delivery confusion and made our color choice. The delivery then came to our home with zero communication or notice, though I had reiterated over and over again that I work from home, and would need to have some communication around how to plan for my work days. The wrong skylights got ordered and delivered. Replacements were ordered, and installed, but they were still incorrect. It then took over a month for the correct windows to come. We checked in several times for updates, and just kept getting told "should be next week." Several seeks later, the installers showed up completely unannounced at 7am on a workday to do the window install fix. One of the windows is directly above my desk in my home office, so I hope you can appreciate a little warning would have been helpful, as it was not possible to hold work related meetings with the workers directly overhead taking out the window. Prior to the project, we asked questions about what to expect about communication and timing, so we could make accommodations for the project as needed, and were assured we'd get good communication every step of the way.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear the roof itself is performing well, but it’s clear the overall project experience did not meet expectations — particularly in the areas of communication and coordination. A multi-phase exterior project requires proactive scheduling updates, accurate material ordering, and clear notice before deliveries or installation dates. Based on what you described — extended sales meetings, changes in personnel without proper handoff, delivery confusion, incorrect skylight orders, repeated timeline delays, and unannounced arrival of installers — we understand why this felt stressful and disorganized. That is not the standard we aim to operate by. Communication around scheduling is especially critical when homeowners work remotely, have pets, or need to coordinate with neighbors. You should have received clearer advance notice regarding deliveries, installation dates, and corrections. Additionally, concerns about property protection and post-project follow-up should have been addressed more thoroughly. We also want to be clear: no customer is “too small” or insignificant. A roofing project is a major investment, and every homeowner deserves structured communication, accurate execution, and professional follow-through. Your feedback highlights process gaps that we need to review internally — particularly around project management transitions, materials verification, scheduling notifications, and final walkthrough procedures. If you are open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to review the remaining concerns, including the patio furniture damage and overall closeout process. Please contact us at 833-438-7762 or support@rrocexteriors.com . We value candid feedback because it allows us to improve our systems — not just our workmanship, but the customer experience as a whole.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that pricing is a major factor when choosing a contractor, and we respect every homeowner’s decision to select the company that best fits their budget and comfort level. Our estimates reflect the full roofing system, material quality, warranty coverage, project management oversight, and installation standards we stand behind. While we may not always be the lowest bid, our goal is to provide long-term value rather than compete solely on price. We’re also sorry if our sales process felt high-pressure. That is not the experience we intend to create, and we will review this internally. We wish you the best with your project and appreciate the opportunity to provide a quote.

Absolutely useless. We have an active leak on one side of our fireplace. They sent a young guy to "inspect" and give us a bid. He didn't even bring a flashlight. He stuck his head in the crawl space on the other side of the fireplace and looked around for a bit. My husband looked right after him and found an extremely obvious active drip. Like... What is even the point of this guy? Peeked his head over the edge of the roof outside and took a two-second look. "Looks good!" I was on the phone with a different roofer before this guy was out of my driveway. Updating and adding a star after receiving a follow-up call. It sounds like this was out of the ordinary for this company. I'm not willing to give them my business based on my experience, but I do appreciate the validation. They confirmed he should have either done a drone inspection or gone up to *look* at the exterior of the roof (crazy concept), which is what I had anticipated based on the scheduling call. My guess is that after realizing a couple of his initial slip-ups (like asking us where the attic access was after we just finished discussing that it's a flat roof), this guy just assumed it was a lost cause and phoned in the rest of the visit.

    Reply from the business

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your inspection appointment. This is not the level of thoroughness or professionalism we expect from our team, and we understand how frustrating this must have been—especially while dealing with an active leak. Your feedback is extremely important, and we take it seriously. We will be reviewing this situation internally to ensure it does not happen again. We would also appreciate the opportunity to make this right. If you’re willing, please contact our office so we can send a senior inspector to properly assess the leak and discuss next steps. We value every homeowner’s trust, and we’re committed to delivering the level of service our customers deserve. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Exemplary. That word I associate with RROC Exteriors and the contractors who installed new insulated vinyl siding on my 1920s house. I researched for a couple of years before I was ready to actually purchase and install siding. And on the day I met with Joshua Lee to go over my siding options and what the contract amount would be, I had four other estimates scheduled after RROC Exteriors. The quote also included the extensive wood rot damage I had underneath both walls of my sunroom windows. What I loved about meeting with Joshua was the lack of pressure - even when I wanted to place a call for input on the price quoted and he was like, "Sure, go for it". That lack of pressure and willingness to let me do what I had to do already moved RROC to the top of my list - the contract price including the damage was the same price for quotes I'd received already the year before WITHOUT fixing the damage. I hired RROC on the spot and never looked back. The contractors were amazing! They always were polite, professional, respectful of property and most importantly did an amazing job. They paid attention to all details, addressed any concerns I had and even fixed a windowsill they damaged during the window trim install - without needing to be asked (and frankly it looks way better now!) They took care of small details like hanging my new mailbox on the house, the new house number plate, put up my wireless cameras and even painted my windowsills on the top level for me along with exterior exhaust fan covers out of reach. And the clean up after the job was above and beyond - you'd never know I had materials and ladders and scaffoldings all over the back yard for a week and a half. Was though they were never there. I would highly recommend RROC Exteriors! They are fair, keep in touch with you, talk to you anytime you call for a status update on what the install date will be, courteous, and professional. You won't regret hiring RROC Exteriors.
