  If you have an older home with traditional 1x6 roof sheathing, BE AWARE: replacement costs will be be far higher than the advertised rate (about 8x the rate). My biggest advice: get a signed change order with the exact cost BEFORE any additional work is done. Their own contract says this is required. One selling point for my roof replacement was that damaged sheathing would be replaced for $80 per 4'x8' sheet of OSB, including labor. No other pricing structure was explained. I was later told there were more damaged boards than expected, but I was never given a price or change order before the work was done. About a month later, I received a change order for 33 boards and $2,749.60, making the roof part project about 25% more than the original estimate (I also had them do gutters). The pricing for replacing sheathing was roughly 8x what I expected based on the advertised $80/sheet rate, and the charge was calculated using the OSB rate even though the actual replacement was not OSB. The original estimate was extremely detailed down to the nails, but the change order simply listed “33 boards” without explaining the materials, labor, measurements, or calculation. I also had to ask for photos. Another selling point was extensive documentation and netting to protect the siding. The house was not netted, and the photos I eventually received did not show the extent of the damage prior to removal or most of the completed repairs. I never received a photo of the underlayment. My issue isn't that an old roof can have unexpected damage—that's understandable. It's the lack of transparency about the cost and the failure to get the required change order before doing the work. Getting answers about the charges and remaining balance was also unnecessarily difficult, and I felt treated more like an inconvenience than a customer. I ultimately signed the change order and am paying it because I'm tired of dragging out the dispute and don't want to risk a lien on my home. I also ask

  I received a quote and did some background research. Their “About Us” section claims over 25 years in business, but I later saw a video where the owner said they’ve been operating for about half that time. That feels dishonest, so I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I’m using a fake name here to remain anonymous.

  Don't waste your time with Rooster Roofing. Came out for initial inspection in June for roof repair never heard back from them. I called 3-4 times called me back once or twice. If I could would give them- 5 stars

  Very disappointed first part getting everything set up fine when came to day of work no notification was shocked awake by people on roof at 7am cats totally freaked out by noise had no time to get them in a quiet area crew did not know couldn't use large overhang over garage door not enough support had told Chad that they could not use that area luckily I was home and had them move to the right area someone could have gotten hurt or worse if it had collapsed also they took boards off garage with suv inside it was covered with sawdust and nails in garage I did not know what was happening on that part when job done figured someone would talk with me about job no one did one vent pipe looks like it's beat up insurance agent referred me to you have let my agent know that I am disappointed

  Jeff did an amazing job.. I am greatful that he took the time to evaluate my issue and roof health. He explained things fully and honestly!! He was very quick setting up a same day visit to evalute!! I appreciate him so much and will 100% be reaching out to him directly for any future needs!!   I had the pleasure of working with Carlos Garcia, and man, it was worth every penny. Great guy, does great work, and showed up. The last guy I tried to hire blew me off for a month, so in desperation, I made a Facebook post. No sooner did I have it posted, then I immediately heard from Carlos. First one to message me and I enjoyed the experience, plus he had it done same day, would absolutely recommend Everest roofing to anyone who needs roofing done. Bravo 👏
