  ~ We employed Roofscapes to waterproof our rooftop deck. Four years and 10 months later, the roof leaks, causing damage in our master bedroom. Called them to honor their 5-year warranty, and instead of standing by their work, they blame “natural deterioration.” Now, insurance won’t pay to fix my roof because the benefit excludes damage from "faulty workmanship.” We’re now out the cost of the repairs and must pay someone else to supply a competent roof repair. I wish I knew then what I know now, but now you know. Never do business with a company who won’t stand by their work. ~ Update as of 8/5 in response to Roofscapes comments below: Per the question concerning, ‘has the roof leaked since your last “repair” on 5/22’: Answer: Yes, on 6/5 the roofers we hired to provide the appropriate fix found the plywood directly under your “repair” damp to the touch. Since then, it’s been competently fixed, along with all the other Roofscape welds that we can no longer trust. Since this matter is currently being reviewed by multiple insurance companies, we won’t comment further until the outcome is determined. For those considering Roofscapes, if you’d like to avoid months of working with insurance, perhaps you should take your business elsewhere.

  8/6 Update - We tried to contact you several times to help fix the issue but you are leaving out the details about the third story deck. The one you have concerns with was never replaced like the other bottom two decks. Your proposal included repairs for the top deck. We went back and did additional work so it is false to say we don't stand behind our work. I understand you are frustrated, but you did not allow us to work toward a common resolution. I spoke to Paul primarily and you never reached out to us nor took our calls after we visited again. If anyone wants the full story please call us and I'd be happy to share our side of the story. Thank you for considering us and we hope you read other reviews on our profile as you can see we have a consistent 4-5 star rating for being in business 10+ years now. We cannot make everyone happy and strive to bring top quality with all of our work. Our family, our crew and their families depend on it. Hi Paul and Jimi, We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this situation has caused. We want to clarify for others that shortly after your call to our office, our team visited your property—not just once, but twice—to inspect the issue and try to find a resolution. We show your initial call was on 5/19 and we visited your home that same day. But we were told to return another day to allow the time you needed to remove the existing pavers for us. We followed your request to return after you moved the necessary furniture and pavers to be out of our way. So, we returned the same week on 5/22/25. The leak of concern was on the top, third deck. Back in 2020, we only applied sealant on the voids and delaminated welds around the drain. The other two decks had new membrane installed. Our team performed a water test on the top deck and couldn’t find the source of the leak.   DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE. They didn't show up or call to let me know they couldn't make the appointment. I had to call several times to find out what was going on. That shows their lack of courtesy to customers.

  Great Overall Experience. Very Thorough inspection of my roof. Provided recommended repairs with different options. Process was very smooth and I was informed throughout the process. Repair done in a day. Highly recommended. When the time to replace comes in the next 5-7 years. I will definitely reach back out to Roofscapes NW!

  We were very pleased with care the crew took to make sure nothing was broken or damaged. The company explained every step of the process and kept us informed of their progress daily with photos and video of the work. We were highly impressed with the professionalism of Mike who came out twice to look at the house and address all our concerns. The new roof is on now and it looks great!

  These guys are fantastic! If you have any roof worries after you call them you won't have any anymore. We had a leak in our rooftop deck due to a hole when the house was built and it had gone unnoticed for two long and rooted out some of the wood. They repaired it all and relaid the membrane and it looks amazing now and feels so sturdy. They were so thorough and professional through every step of the process. Jonathan was so nice and explained everything as we went along, Stacie emailed me daily updates with photos so I could see the process. But a huge shoutout to Ubaldo and his team who worked through some of our hottest days of summer! They were all so nice and our roof looks brand new. Can't say enough kind words.

  TL;DR: Definitely reach out to Roofscapes NW and I highly recommend them! Their communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship are top-notch. Plus, your neighbors might end up being just as excited about your new roof as you are! Early experience: After getting three quotes from some of the top local roofing companies, Roofscapes stood out immediately. They were the most knowledgeable, the most transparent about pricing, and the only company that fully walked me through what a 1920s Craftsman home would realistically need. They were upfront about the possibility of plywood replacement and other hidden issues that can come with an older home (if you own an old Craftsman, you know the surprises and challenges that seem to come with every project! May I never see Knob-and-tube ever again). They also pointed out areas that had been noted in a previous home inspection, but none of the other companies even mentioned them. During the installation: The communication was outstanding. I received daily updates with photos, the crew cleaned up every single day, and when we ran into insurance issues, they went above and beyond to help us navigate everything quickly. Most importantly, our new metal roof looks absolutely INCREDIBLE! We've had neighbors reach out to compliment it, and we've even noticed more neighbors walking their dogs a little slower in front of the house to check it out. haha We couldn't be happier with the result. I also want to mention something that may resonate with other sole women homeowners: at no point was I asked to "check with my partner/husband," or treated like I wasn't the decision-maker. I was treated with respect, kindness, and professionalism throughout the entire process, and I genuinely appreciated that.   If you want a roofing expert, call Roofscapes NW. Mike performed my inspection and was an incredible resource, providing multiple options for repair vs replacement as I considered overall budget. Mike was amazing at explaining issues and answering all my questions. He was extremely thorough when looking at my roof, material transitions, seams/penetrations, skylights, ventilation, and even examined all of my attic spaces. I truly feel Roofscapes NW gave an expert’s evaluation and provided me competitive pricing.

  I had Roofscapes come by and fix a couple parts of my roof that had lost shingles during a windstorm. The roofers that came out were thorough, cleaned up well and did a great job. They all seem like very good, reasonable people and I'd recommend them to others.

  We recently hired Roofscapes NW to do a complete replacement of our roof after we discovered it was deteriorating badly due to improper vent installation by the original builder. Out of the five roofing companies we had out to inspect our roof and provide bids, Roofscapes NW offered by the far the most comprehensive and professional inspection and explanation of the issues with our roof. The inspector (Mike) was extremely thorough. He provided a detailed description of the condition of the roof and a variety of possible solutions. Rather than pushing his opinion on us ("you need a new roof" or "you just need a quick repair") he gave us the information we needed to make an informed decision for ourselves about how to proceed. He was super patient with our MANY questions and spent a lot of time helping us reach a solution we felt good about. Once the crew took over, the experience continued to be really seamless and professional. The project manager, Ubaldo, kept me informed every step of the way about what would happen when and also coordinated the other companies that would need to do work (we also had to have our attic remediated and an electrician come to install our new attic fans). He handled everything to minimize impact on us and checked in frequently with me to make sure I was happy with how everything was going. The onsite crew was fantastic. Led by Jorge, they worked hard, kept the site safe and clean, and made sure every shingle, board, underlayment, and flashing was done correctly. I highly recommend this company. They are friendly, transparent, happy to answer any and all questions, super professional and do a really thorough and careful job.
