The only one or two-star review we hold for Roof Repair & Construction.

Honestly, I should’ve just burned the money. They showed up unprepared, hammered a few nails, and called it done. No cleanup, no walkthrough, and the leak? Still there. Waste of time and trust.

🏠 Q: Why Do Tile Roofs Last Longer Than Asphalt Shingle Roofs in Los Feliz, CA? A: One of the biggest advantages of a tile roof is its exceptional lifespan. In Los Feliz, CA, where homes are exposed to year-round sunshine, UV rays, and occasional heavy rain, a professionally installed concrete or clay tile roof can last 50 to 100 years or more. By comparison, most architectural asphalt shingle roofs typically last 20 to 30 years, depending on the quality of materials and maintenance. Why do tile roofs last so long? ·️ Tile is highly resistant to UV damage and fading. ·️ It withstands extreme heat without deteriorating as quickly as asphalt. ·️ Individual tiles can often be replaced without replacing the entire roof. ·️ Proper ventilation beneath the tiles helps regulate roof temperatures. ·️ With routine maintenance, the roofing system can protect a home for generations. This beautiful tile roof in Los Feliz, CA showcases why tile remains one of the most popular roofing choices for luxury and Spanish-style homes throughout Los Angeles. While the tiles themselves are incredibly durable, the underlayment beneath them is the true waterproofing system. When the underlayment reaches the end of its service life, the existing tiles can often be carefully removed, a new high-performance waterproof membrane installed, and the tiles reinstalled—extending the life of the entire roofing system while preserving the home's original character.
