★★ Substandard finish and no follow-up on a $25,000+ project I hired Prime America Roofing to apply a silicone coating to my flat roof. The project was completed and the roof is sealed, which is the reason this isn't a one-star review, but the standard of craftsmanship fell well short of what a job of this size and cost should deliver. The problems were not isolated; they accumulated across the work, and several caused damage or follow-on issues that I had to resolve myself. The trouble began during application. The silicone sealer dripped onto the ground below the roofline, and I was fortunate to be walking the property at the time, because I was able to wipe the residue away before it set. Had I not been there, it would have dried in place. The application itself was careless: sealer splattered across my skylights (I have the photos to show it), leaving a mess where there should have been clean, deliberate work. Beyond the cosmetic problems, the crew failed to restore key components to their proper positions. The electrical conduits on the roof, which rest on wood blocks, were not returned to their original placement, and as a result the metal conduits became fused directly onto the dried silicone layer. The condensate drainage line for my AC was also left improperly routed; instead of running cleanly from the unit to the drain, it was left hanging, which caused water to back up into the AC unit and ultimately stopped it from working. The detail that best captures the lack of care was my outdoor bathroom sink. The crew used it to clean their painting equipment and left dried silicone lumps caked across the porcelain. It was filthy. The only way I could remove the buildup was to scrape it off with a straight-edge razor. What pushed my rating down further was the absence of any accountability afterward. I notified the job supervisor of these issues more than two weeks ago and have received no response from the company since. A reputable contractor stands behind its

We’ve been stressed for months because we’ve been having roof issues and we needed a full roof replacement for our main house and detached garage. After contacting 6 roofing companies to compare their free estimates, Edgar and Sam from Prime American Roofing were the only ones who never pressured us with constant calls or texts. Instead, they were always patient, knowledgeable, and quick to answer all of our questions. Once we decided to move forward, they kept us informed every step of the way with updates, photos, and excellent communication throughout the project. Their crew stayed on schedule, paid attention to every detail, and made the whole process smooth and less stressful. Even after the job was finished, they were still available to address additional questions about other work related to the roof. Thank you, Edgar and Sam, for your honesty, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. We highly recommend Prime American Roofing!

They did a very good job for my mom They are very clean, finished the project on time, there are no issues or noise--very quiet, and their prices are very good and reasonable compared to the market. I recommend them.

It is such a pleasure communicating with Prime American Roofing. I will most certainly be using their services as they are so responsive and informative- taking the time to explain every step of the process. So many businesses today do not even bother responding. Thank you Edgar for your very courteous, professional, super fast response. I will undoubtedly be using your company in the near future.

Overall, they did a great job. I worked with Jonathan, and it was a pleasure to see such a hardworking young man—unlike many Gen Zers I know who aren’t as eager to work. He explained every detail of the project to me and kept in touch almost daily. They ultimately replaced all the valleys and flashing and added roof vents. I have a concrete tile roof, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they used the exact underlayment I wanted: Westlake Royal TileSeal HT. It’s the best and most expensive product on the market. I want to give a special heads-up to homeowners who have solar panels like I do. They have a sister company that specializes in solar, and I strongly recommend using them if you’re getting your roof replaced. If you hire an outside company to remove and reinstall your panels, and the roof leaks later, neither side will likely take responsibility. By having them handle both, you avoid that headache and even get a better package deal. As for areas for improvement: Organization: The workers were a bit messy with their tools and materials at the end of each day; they weren't very organized. Pricing: Their quote didn't include the cost of replacing the batten strips. I ended up having to pay extra for those, which felt a bit like a hidden fee. In short, I don’t regret choosing Prime American Roofing.

We needed both our house and garage re-roofed. We choose Prime American Roofing to do the work. They were professional and delt with a couple of problems that we had. The garage had no plywood under the shingles that were there. They handled the permitting and were on the job every day. At the end of each day they cleaned up the site as if they were never there. Johnathan supervised the job and his communication with us was perfect. As others have said there was no pressure. The warranty on materials and their work was much better than other companies who gave us quotes. I would use them again.

This company is very good and reputable. On top of that, their prices are below what others are offering. I had my duplex(2 houses on a lot) done and I am very happy. 5 stars!

These guys do amazing work! I hired them to install a new tile roof on my home, and the results are absolutely beautiful. My sales representative, Jonathan, was outstanding—I can’t say enough good things about him. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly went the extra mile throughout the entire process. I interviewed several roofing companies, and I’m so glad I chose Jonathan and Prime American Roofing. Highly recommend!

We had to completely redo our roof, which was especially complicated because we also have solar panels. Fortunately, we found this company—they have a sister company that specializes in solar, which made the entire process seamless. Edgar was excellent: knowledgeable, responsive, and consistently available. He kept us informed every step of the way and provided timely updates throughout the project. Edgar coordinated everything, including permits and inspections, removal and reinstallation of the solar panels, and the full roof replacement. We’re extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend them.
