The first three are Google’s own figures for Roof Dog Roofing, read on 24 September 2026; the share is of every rating Google has counted, not of the review texts on this page. The median is ours — the middle figure among the Alberta roofers we list with enough ratings to compare.

Too few ratings to compare against other roofers — at 10 ratings a single unhappy customer moves this figure by several points.
The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Roof Dog Roofing. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

Dan Barrie has done great work replacing a roof for a local non profit. It looks amazing. Thank you so much for supporting your community. Will recommend you to anyone that requires assistance with shingles!

Roof Dog came to the rescue after our tenant managed to break the skylights in a section of our roof. Their team responded quickly, capped the windows, filled them in, and roofed over the damaged portion, and matched the existing roof color so closely you’d never know anything happened. The work was efficient, the communication was clear, and the final invoice was one I could genuinely appreciate. If you’re looking for a roofing team that’s reliable, skilled, and fetches great results (pun fully intended), Roof Dog is absolutely the one to call. Highly recommend!

Dan was a great help to me. Great service, got the job done super quickly, and a really friendly guy. I totally recommend him. He reshingled my roof with asphalt shingles in Sherwood Park.

We purchased our home in November and to our surprise the roof started to drip into the living room once we had a massive thaw. Dan came out assessed the situation. He explained everything and provided a fair quote. He even did the work in …

I have used Roofdog a handful of times. After a bad wind storm left me missing a chunk of my roof, Dan was quick to get out and temporarily waterproof the affected area. He was then able to fit me into his schedule and get the portion of shingles replaced quickly and affordably. Dan is always eager to fit me into the schedule, as well as punctual and excellent at what he does. I highly recommend Dan at Roofdog for any of your roofing needs.

I am so happy with the work Dan did for me. They completed the whole job in one day start to finish. If not for the new roof I would not have know they were here. …

Dan fixed a couple of areas on our roof, that had been damaged by a previous company. He was able to fit our roof work in between other jobs and constantly communicated with us as to when he could come. We highly recommend Roof Dog Roofing.

Dan and his team were excellent from start to finish. He is so knowledgeable, and gave us an honest assessment. Communication was timely (roofing is weather dependent) but we were kept apprised of timelines as we got closer to our start date. Workmanship was 10/10 and they were clean and curious throughout the process!! See you in 25 years Roof Dog!!

We are very satisfied with this company's services. The owner is very competent and a true master of his craft. He explained everything clearly and delivered as expected. We would highly recommend using roofdog. Could not be happier with our new roof.

Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 10 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 10, of which 10 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Roof Dog Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
