  DO NOT use this company! We were quoted $1500.00 to do a patch job on or roof after a crazy wind storm. We sent $750 via e transfer for a down payment before they could start the work. After numerous cancelations on their end stating "due to weather conditions", we finally agreed on a date for repair. The day came and went. No call, no text, no email. I called the next day to as for our money back as the lack of communication and timely need of repair were not satisfactory. After speaking twice with Taha, he stated he just needs to get in touch with his Administrative team to get the funds sent back, then a phone call to try and keep our money and gain his business (we declined), two more emails requesting our money back, still no contact. We had our roof repaired within 18 hours of a phone call to another company, as a patch job for 1/5 of the price!!!! We have been in contact with Advanced Level Roofing for a month, and no results!!! Very poor customer service and crooks when it comes to cost!

  My neighbour arranged to have Advanced Level roofing out to get a quote for reshingling our roof, as we share a duplex. While the salesman made a positive impression on her (I did not meet him) the quote for my side was more than $2000 higher than hers as he stated my side is bigger. This was news to me as I’ve been inside both our homes and they are identical, but what do I know, I’ve never been up on my roof. I wanted another quote or two and had someone over the next day. When he gave the quote for the whole roof, I asked what my portion was and he smiled like he felt sorry for my inability to do basic math and said 50% of the total. I asked how that could be since my side is bigger and he looked at me like I had two heads and said it’s not bigger, it’s the exact same size. The first guy came after church, didn’t actually go up on the roof (yes, I understand they don’t all go up) yet by the calculations of his quote and materials needed, suggested that I have 300sqft more than my neighbour. I’ve double and triple checked to see if I have an extra room hidden among these walls that I have overlooked for the 18+ years I’ve lived here, and nope, I do not. Looks like our little church going friend has worse math skills than I (I’m good at math, BTW) or struggles with honesty. I suspect the latter. The best part of this story is that the second quote was over 30% cheaper, is not subcontracted out and has very high reviews. Always get a second or third quote folks!

  Would never recommend Advanced Level Roofing without doing your homework first. They are extremely pushy, their sales guys were constantly walking around our neighborhood knocking on our door several times at all hours of the day. The one sales guy finally was able to talk to my wife, he the proceeded to tell her that our roof was quote "illegal" and needed to be fix. He kept telling her that it was illegal and was way past its life expectancy. (The house was 10 years old at that point) He pushed his quote on to her without her really wanting it. We took that quote and had a couple other companies in the area look at the roof in which they let us know we had a couple more years left life left in the shingles we had. (the front garage overhang had a 4x8' section of shingles that were starting to curl slightly where the upper downspout was drain down onto) Both other contractors indicated there was nothing "illegal" about our roof, there was some updates in the design and extra feature that could be added. i.e. Metal valley flashing. Aside from that experience, several other houses in my area got their roofs done by ALR. * Crews played music excessively loud with pretty bad lyrics * The amount of debris and garbage left from the crews was pretty bad (plastic, shingle pieces, etc.) * Crews were using pretty loud vulgar language when we had our two young kids playing in the yard outside. The quote that ALR gave was a couple grand higher than two other companies that we had quotes from, we ended up going with another company for around 2k less for the exact same shingle package. I wouldn't recommend Advanced Level Roofing, as a primary choice without doing your homework on the quotes. Take the quote to 2 or 3 more companies before you pull the pin.

  We recently had new shingles installed by Advanced Level Roofing Edmonton and while the final product itself appears to be good, the overall experience left a lot to be desired—mainly due to poor communication and a lack of follow-through on what was promised. Our initial meeting with the salesman (Sean) was great. He was friendly, thorough, and assured us the installation would take place within two weeks. He also highlighted a customer portal where we could check the status of our project, which gave us confidence in their process. Unfortunately, communication broke down quickly. After three weeks with no updates, we contacted the company ourselves and were told the materials should arrive by the end of the week. Instead of notifying us of delivery, the crew showed up at our home without any warning, asking to move vehicles in the middle of a workday when we weren’t home. We had to scramble to find someone who could move the vehicles so the project wouldn’t be delayed even further. I expressed my concern and was assured we would receive notice going forward. The company later texted (on Thursday late afternoon) that the crew would arrive between 11–12 on Friday, so we made sure the driveway was accessible. Nobody showed up, and we received no call or message explaining the no-show. Then, at 8 a.m. the next morning (Saturday), the crew arrived unannounced, rang the doorbell, and woke up everyone in the house asking us again to move vehicles. This second surprise visit was extremely frustrating, especially after specifically requesting proper notice. We also experienced issues during the installation itself. The salesman had emphasized that the crew tarps around the house to catch debris and protect the property. This absolutely did not happen. While they did take care to put plywood over our hot tub, only a few haphazard tarps were put down, and large areas around the house were left uncovered. Our walkway and driveway now have black sludge on it that we’re left to

  I really hope this post can warn people about how terrible of a company advanced level roofing is. Please find anyone else but these clowns to do any work needed on your roof. We asked for a quote to add roof vents to our attic space, which we received back in late September. After getting the quote we sold the home and did not need the work done and this was clearly communicated to advanced level multiple times when they started sending invoices requesting payment. After again, clearly stating to them the house was sold and the work was not needed they showed up on November 3rd and did the work anyway, without talking to anyone. Then again demanded payment for this work they had no authorization to do. When I spoke to management in the Calgary office they didn't even seem concerned about making this mistake. This leads me to believe this is a common business practice for them. I am sure many others have had work done on there roof they never asked for and then had advanced level demand payment. This is predatory and its not their only shady practice. Another thing to be aware of; when you sign on to finance one of their roofs check the fine print because they will amortize the roof over 25 years making the payments mostly interest.

  The shingles look good. The guys were quick with the install and seemed to know what were doing. The after install needs a bit of work. The clean up was not terrible but was not really good either. I spent an hour going around picking up stuff they left behind. I still have left over materials that they were supposed to take. I called and asked about a few things with the young man I bought the service from and they were supposed to come back and fix a few things but have not heard from them again.

  Our experience was great, although the poor weather and our steep roof made the process take longer than initially expected. Amir was also very helpful and gladly assisted us in any concerns during the process. The workers were friendly and were great.

  Our roof was installed quickly and efficiently. The price was equitable to others in the area but the warranty is better. We were not expecting a roof inspection 3 years later, but it happened. Impressed!
