  I bought a building that this company had installed a new TPO 30-year roof on at the end of 2020. In December 2023, prior to closing, there were several leaks that needed to be addressed. They came out and did work on these leaks. The building is vacant, and when I visited in late April, I noticed it was still leaking in all the same places. My broker reached out to Amy at the company, and not only did they refuse to honor the warranty, but they also claimed they could not work on a roof they installed four years ago. I decided to inspect the roof myself and found that they didn't bother to seal the roof where it meets the facade, allowing water to leak behind it. I also found binder clips, typically used for bundles of office paper, trying to keep the top fastened to the facade. Needless to say, these had blown off. Additionally, they left screws all over the roof from where the aluminum designed to hold the facade was previously screwed in, leaving it just blowing in the wind. I would never use a company like this. Their practices seem shady, and it appears they do not know what they are doing. Maybe they perform better with residential projects, but I believe ethical standards tend to apply to all work. I would not be surprised if homeowners encounter issues in a few years from corners that were cut. I own five commercial buildings, and I have never seen this type of negligence on a roofing job before.

Our records indicate that you were not our direct customer as the building was sold to you as the previous customer owner was our client and we addressed some leaks in December 2023 at their request before the sale Regarding the warranty, it is standard practice for our warranties to be held by the original customer and may not always transfer to new owners unless specifically agreed-upon, we regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
