  You know why they got one star cuz they answered the phone not once or twice but three times, Now You got to read the story ! Wednesday The carport fell off my house in the storm took all the eve exposed 25 ft of beams electrical wires and insulation. I had no problem waiting for the adjuster to get here but I called Owen on Thursday and spoke to a girl who took my information said she would pass it on and I figured okay. Because I know most places don't work on the weekend I called Friday after 3:00 to find out who my case has been assigned to and whether or not they needed more information from me other than what they took name address phone number email etc. now the lady that I spoke to this time apologized not understanding why my information I guess hadn't been sent somewhere didn't know anything about it but again she took all my information and told me that she would promptly check it out and I would hear something okay. Saturday and Sunday come and go no problem Monday I wait until 3:00 again and then I call and a guy answers the phone I let him know who I am let him know why I'm unhappy and explain to him why two other roofing companies in town got back to me within 24 hours they might not be able to do the work instantly but they addressed my concern because they knew I had more than just an inside leak I had a half of my house that water could come in critters could come in so I would be very cautious and calling these people to have anything done because it's evident they're not looking for the business I'm only nine blocks away and they couldn't make it to me in 4 days

  RJ Owens was hired as a sub for an addition on our home. The job had numerous defects that were not to code in addition to several outright holes causing several leaks that I have been chasing for almost two years. As a result I've had to apply a commercial grade roof coating costing additional thousands of dollars. I contacted them several times to look at the scuppers and they determined there was nothing wrong. Called back months later after I found several holes in the roof causing leaks. I was told the company would make this right and to stop sealing the roof which I did. After three more visits spanning months they eventually told me they didn't believe me and wouldn't be able to help me. Do not use this company.

  The invoice provided to us by the property management company for repairs on this AC unit included notes from the AC repair tech; "no fuse installed from manufacture the transformer was not protected", "Wire stepped on or something dropped on." The reported stoppage of this unit occurred during a project that involved multiple contractors, including a licensed AC contractor. The assumption was made that 'the roofers broke my AC'. Our company made the good faith decision to cover the cost of the damaged wire, but not the cost to purchase/install parts that were never installed in the unit by the manufacturer. We suggest perhaps the reviewer reach out to the manufacturer that produced the defective unit or the company that sold her the unit. All of this was explained to both the reviewer and the property management company.

  Just thought I’d let you know how the flat roof you put on a year ago is doing. We had to have a new tile roof put on because of hurricane Hermine. I wonder why I didn’t call you for a quote……. When they did the demo on the tile roof, the contractor brought me up to take a look at the flat roof you put on. It was already leaking in spots, had a giant pond in the middle, the seams were separating, and it was not tied into the existing tile roof per code. You put the flat roof on to close the sale of our home last year, working for the seller just to get a quick check. If you’ll recall, this was the one on the T**es that your guys left exposed at the end of the day and then it rained that night. Absolutely brilliant!! As you were working on the flat roof, you were also trying to fix a small leak at our other house. I’m still waiting on the $500 you said you would reimburse me for the attempted repair. Let me refresh. We were closing the one you let rain on, while repairing the other. You said you would give me the $500 you charged me because the other roof repair should have never been attempted. Nice distraction attempt, but it didn't work. It’s bad enough the quality of work you put out. But to offer up a refund to keep us quiet about another half-a** job is even worse. Then, you don’t pay the hush-money, takes it to another level to the already bad reputation roofers like you give the trade. Every time I see an RJ job, I’ll make sure to stop in and tell the customer what quality of service they can expect. I probably won’t see you around our neighborhood though. I like to talk to my neighbors.

  If you’re looking for honest, reliable, and professional roofing installers, you’ve got the right company. RJ Owens replaced the roof on my current house and new home addition. They were priced reasonably, extremely attentive to detail, and kept a neat and clean work area. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Thank you!

  Great experience from the time I met Tyler the sales person who did a great job explaining all of my options and working up the quote to the end of the project closing out with John the manager. The crew communicated everything that was happening, cleaned the site at the end of each day and just did a great job.

  We had a fantastic service from RJ Owens. As well as some general repairs to our very steep metal roof, they fitted solar tubes to improve the light on our landing. They were able to schedule the work pretty fast, and made a very nice job. We would happily recommend them.

  RJ Owens is a phenomenal roofing contractor! Their team showed up at 7:30 am and got our roof finished and yard cleaned all before 5pm that same day (including adding all new hurricane clips for our safety)! I couldn't recommend them more

  R J Owens put a tile roof and at the same time put a new built up flat roof (on an addition) on my house back in October 2000. Both roofs have held up well over the years. Recently, Gilberto resealed the outer edge of the flat rear roof and did a great job. additionally, he inspected and did minor repairs to the rest of the roof, as necessary. Over all, I have great confidence in Owens and will continue to use them in the coming years.

  The is the best roofing company in the world. Not only are they excellent at craftsmanship and pricing, but here are a few things that set them apart. One, Johnny has been known to jump unassisted onto rooftops up to 6 stories high. This is to prevent any damage to your siding or fascia from ladders. Johnny also kisses every nail head to push it through the shingle. This ensures the perfect installation depth and pressure. The rumor is that the nails only rust from their tears knowing Johnny will never come back. Legend has it, at night when everyone is asleep, Ricky comes and sprinkles each individual granule on your shingles in total darkness using only the brightness of his smile to see. No one has ever witnessed this event, but faith is a beautiful thing. Trust me, RJ Owens will change your life. For the better.
