  I was not satisfied with the communication throughout the project. Before any work was started, the company collected one of the checks for $6,000, but the roof installation did not begin until three months later. We had to contact them ourselves to find out when the work would be scheduled. Additionally, when we first discussed the project, we were told that our out-of-pocket cost would be between $1,500 and $2,000. However, by the end of the project, we ended up paying approximately $5,000. Because the final cost was much higher than we were originally led to expect, we had to set up a payment plan. Overall, the project did not proceed as it was initially explained to us, and I am disappointed with both the communication and the unexpected increase in costs.

On timing, insurance-based projects often move through steps that are outside our control, adjuster reviews, approvals, and internal processing on the carrier's side, and we can't rush what isn't ours to control. We understand that's frustrating when you're waiting on a start date, and we can always do better at keeping you informed while those pieces move. On cost, roofing projects can shift once work is underway, since underlying damage, code requirements, or material needs aren't always fully visible until we're into it. We recognize the gap between the initial estimate and final cost was significant here, and we should have communicated that change more clearly as it developed.   They did the bare minimum but got paid the maximum amount from the insurance company. I have debated with them back and forth for months. They still deny the roof is wrong. I've had 3 roofing companies all tell me the roof was not properly installed and I got ripped off. There are nails backing out and dips in the roofing all over the entire roof. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE!!

  Tonya, we are very disappointed to hear that you’re still with your experience. We take every concern seriously and always want our homeowners to feel confident in both their roof and our process. Your nephew Brandon managed this project with us from start to finish. He was on-site for the entire project and communicated with you throughout the process. When there was an opportunity to perform additional work, you and Brandon agreed that it was unnecessary. Everything was completed according to manufacturer and code standards, with full documentation shared at each step. Several months after the job was completed, we began an email exchange with your family about the concerns you mentioned. Our team reviewed every detail, including photos and installation records, and even consulted with the local shingle manufacturer representative. They confirmed that the visible decking pattern is a common phenomenon called "print-through" from the underlying plywood seams. This is a cosmetic issue and not a sign of faulty installation or leaking. The photos taken before the project began show the same underlying deck conditions that existed prior to replacing the shingles. The new shingles did not change how your roof was originally constructed, and we cannot take responsibility for pre-existing structural issues that were not part of the approved scope of work. In order to have improved the part of your home that you're now addressing would have cost you thousands of additional dollars and as we discussed throughout the project you wanted as little out of pocket expenses as possible. I'm very sorry but you just can't have it both ways. Even so, we offered to bring in an independent structural engineer at our own expense to ensure a completely fair and unbiased assessment, that you rejected - probably because you know that they will confirm our assessment.   Nate and his team helped us through the tough process of fighting an unfavorable insurance determination. They were with us the whole way and helped us get what we deserve from our insurance company. The roof and gutters look amazing and was installed by a quality crew who paid attention to detail. The Rivertop team is top notch.

  I had a great experience with Rivertop Roofing. They were very professional. Coincidentally, I had a large sod job done to my front yard about three days before my roof was being replaced. All the guys were very Respectful of my new expensive side job done to the front yard. Which I really appreciated. The roof looks great and they did a really good job of cleanup after they were finished with the job. Would recommend Rivertop Roofing

  Rivertop went above & beyond in a lot of ways with several repairs for my house, especially Chris, who helped me throughout the entire process. I wish every company I interacted with in my life was as professional, communicative, friendly, and thorough as they are. From the initial meeting, to the repairs, the paperwork, and everything in-between, every member of this team was super helpful. I would list pros & cons but there are no cons to list. It's very clear the owners and other leaders have set integrity and customer service as high priorities and it definitely shows!

  Joe Vega came by and inspected my roof after a recent storm. He is professional and kind. He is a local area fireman and let me tell you… he is as handsome as they come! I recommend Rivertop Roofing and Joe Vega to all!

  Kyle and Mitch came out to inspect our roof and I was really impressed. They were both very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. They explained everything in a way that made sense and didn’t make me feel pressured at all. We ended up using a personal friend for the work, but I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a trustworthy roofing team.

  Cody Camacho was amazing had him come to the house and do a inspection for my grandfather's house and his old rental property he was straight forward and made is very easy i would recommend him to anyone.

  We highly recommend Rivertop Roofing for any roof repairs required. Tina and I are ecstatic about our new roof. Ty, Weatherman and Nate delivered on their promise to provide a state-of-the-art roof that has completely changed the outlook of our home. Tina and I have been standing outside and admiring the workmanship that was top notch. The roof was finished in one day and the cleanup afterward was outstanding. Their customer service was awesome from day one. They kept us informed throughout the entire process with honesty and genuine concern to provide us with the best quality of work for our money.   We had roof shingles blow off with this last wind storm.. After several attempts to different company’s Rivertop Roofing was on it!! Cody was out the next morning did a full inspection walked me through the whole process and what needed to be done. Cody was very knowledgeable and professional and answered all my questions swiftly and promptly even a late text about something I forgot. Victor came out and followed up the with the excellent customer service again walked me through everything and even took pictures of the process to ensure I was happy with the results and work being done !! They also did an estimate for me on my fence which wasn’t even on the orignal request.. but took the time to explain that as well… I would highly recommend Rivertop and their awesome team

Steep rooflines were climbed and checked during a roof inspection in Royse City to review the shingle surface up close. A section near the ridge showed a lifted shingle that was noted for repair.
