  This summer I needed to replace our roof. I got three comparable estimates and picked the lowest one which was from RJ Severance. Due to their inconsistent and misleading estimate, items we thought were included were not and I ended up paying more than the highest bid would have cost.

  Hi Jean, I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding. We installed your new roof almost 3 months ago. I would have appreciated a phone call or an opportunity to review any issues with you before now. I reviewed your contract today along with your final invoice. Your final invoice matches the contract and scope of work in our agreement. I'm confident that you received a quality new roof. Customer satisfaction is also very important to us. I'd like to meet with you to review your concerns so I can better understand your position. If there is something on our end that is wrong then I'm willing to make an adjustment but as it stands now it appears we did everything that was promised at the agreed upon price.   We had a great experience with RJ Severance and would highly recommend! They were the only roofing company that came out to speak with us in person and also inspect our attic prior to giving us an accurate roofing quote. They worked with us on a short time notice to replace our roof due to a home insurance deadline and they did a great job. We appreciate the time and late hours they worked to help us out! Great family business!

  Kevin and his team did such a fantastic job on our roof and patio! The workmanship was excellent! Kevin was so helpful and always followed up with all of our questions. I am so happy we chose RJ Severance and Sons for our new roof and patio! They are the best!

  WE have used RJ Severance and Sons roofing the past 20 years for our 3 story victorian home in Haddonfield, NJ. The workmanship is of the highest quality. Putting in a new roof for us was a huge job. It was completed efficiently and perfectly. Additionally, the responsiveness of the owners is exceptional. We would only use this roofing company. And highly recommend their work.

  I contacted three companies for estimates. Of the three, only Kevin of RJ Severance gave me the confidence that he completely understood the issues with my roof replacement and that his company had the expertise to provide a five star job. Of the three estimators, all from reputable companies, he was the only one able to explain if, when and how to properly install an attic fan with the ridge vent system. He climbed my home’s roof to review its problems and take accurate measurements. He evaluated the plywood underlayment from all available attic space and was the only one to give a full review of his company’s experience with manufacturer warranties. The hard working roof replacement crew showed up promptly every day at 7:30 am. RJ Severance provides its own dumpsters for ongoing debris cleanup. My yard was left nice, clean and free of nails daily. George, the company foreman, was onsite everyday to manage the crew and address my questions and concerns. In addition, the owner, Kevin, came by at the end of each day to review progress, workmanship and to make sure the contract was carried out to my satisfaction. I heartily recommend this company for peace of mind and a first-rate roof replacement experience from beginning to end.

  Wonderful family-owned and local business! They redid our roof and did an amazing job and treated us like family. I never leave reviews, but they were so nice and did such a good job that I feel it necessary, highly recommend!
