  Scott was excellent but pricing was going to be over double from 4 other top roofers that are shown to be the best in Richmond. The rating is not due to Scott’s presentation as it was excellent but the price your owners charge is way over priced. I give 1 star for the owners.

  I was contacted by an AI chat bot via email immediately after submitting a Google form to several companies. No problem there. After about 30-40 ai emails to get details I was called by a person, I think it was a real person at least. That person let me know there was an available appointment the next day, which I accepted. Not even five minutes after I got off that first call I received another call, again I think it was a person. This call was to confirm the appointment and my information. A little annoying but not really a big deal. Next day rolls around and the start of my appointment window was 10am. The two hour window came and went, no call no show. It wasn’t till later that afternoon that I got a missed call and a voice mail, but I was already mad about the no call no show so I never called back. This was a bad first impression of a company that left me no longer wanting to work with them. I did not end up getting an estimate for my roof replacement. I worked not recommend the company to anyone

  Was a quick assessment of the our roof did not bother to give me further details of the the process, like materials used etc. I have neighbors has their roof replaced or getting estimates. The quote was OUTRAGEOUS, $4000 !!!!!

  Don’t waste your time unless you have a large job. They won’t give you the time of day for gutters, soffit or fascia board. IMO bad business as folks like me remember this when large jobs do come up.

  I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Pyramid Roofing. Today, 20 August 2025, I discovered that a minor roof repair, costing over $2,000, was completed without any notification to me. I prepaid for this work last week and had a date for the following week however I reveived a call last night and was told a spot opened up for me between 11am and 2pm today. However, when I called at around 3pm due no communication from Pyramid Roofing, I was informed that the work was already in progress. The project supervisor cited a communication error and claimed that it is standard practice to proceed with the repair in the owner's absence. This is absolutely unacceptable. While I did receive photos of the completed project via email and text, I find these images confusing and unhelpful, some even appear to be from properties in an entirely different neighborhood. During the estimate process I informed there would be video documentation of the work at all stages (pre, during, and post) I only received photos, no videos. It's clear to me that something went horribly wrong with my roof repair, and it has tarnished my impression of this company. While I received multiple follow-up calls in an attempt to appease me, the damage was done. It is quite troubling that a company would undertake $2,000 worth of work without informing the homeowner of the crew's presence. I strongly advise you to consider my experience carefully before choosing Pyramid Roofing for your roofing needs.

  We reached out to Pyramid to take a look at our roof because we had a leak around the chimney and into our living room. They told us we could either patch the “damaged” area or replace the entire roof. They said they wouldn’t guarantee the repair unless we did a full replacement. We ended up going with their recommendation and replacing the entire roof, but the leak around the chimney — the whole reason we called them — is still there. There was pressure to sign the contract the same day they inspected it, and the new roof was put on the very next day, leaving us no time to really weigh the pros and cons of such a big expense. My biggest advice if you’re thinking about using this company: get multiple opinions. Don’t let them rush you into anything without taking time to consider it. In our case, they misdiagnosed the actual problem and offered no discount or reimbursement afterward - leaving us with the same issue we called them out for. I’d suggest finding a company that will take the time to figure out what’s really wrong, instead of just telling you that you need a whole new roof when that isn’t the real issue. We ended up feeling pretty taken advantage of with this company - would not recommend.

  Brent did an amazing job with explaining the process of getting a new roof. He answered all of our questions and concerns. However, the pricing was substantially higher than we want to pay for a roof replacement.

  Mark and team were exceptional. They left barely any trace that they were ever here; the mess was completely gone and no damage is to be found around the job site. They were done in a single day, in and out, and the roof looks great!
