During this period, our family-owned company was on our annual family vacation, which was communicated through our voicemail. When we returned on June 9, we immediately began reviewing the situation, speaking with the General Contractor overseeing your project, and consulting with the material manufacturer regarding repair options and warranty requirements.   A couple years back, we had a roof leak and called DeShazo to come look at it. They determined it was the vent pipes allowing water in at the seams. They replaced them and I thought we were squared away. Then, in 2021, we had more leaks. I called them back out and they told me the vent pipes were leaking *again*. They told me the replacement collars THEY PUT ON had cracked bc they were plastic. Essentially they put in faulty product that failed and then charged me to replace it a second time using a different material. I told them I had paid them once for this exact fix and they didn’t seem to think it mattered. They charged me again anyway. We can’t trust that whatever fixes they do are quality, so we will never hire them again. Edited in response to the company’s response: I did call when it occurred, asked to speak to the manager/owner. They told me nothing could be done. I had to pay again. Why am I posting my review now? Because we are *still* working to repair the damage to our ceiling from the FAULTY product YOU installed. You are responsible for the products you install, period. Not only that, I’m supposed to believe metal vent collars weren’t available in 2019? 🤔

  Ms Ford We came out in 2018 and replaced all the vent pipes. We also offered you a one-year workmanship warranty. You called in July 19 2021 we came out the next day. The estimator found that one of the vent pipes was faulty; we don’t manufacturer the product. He mentioned to you the on going issues we were having with this particular product. Instead of just fixing the one, we went ahead and replaced all of them at that time for our minimum charge. Which was significantly less than 2018. This way you wouldn’t have that issue again. Since that time they had come out with a superior product and we installed that for you. If you should write a review on anyone it would be the company who manufactures the products. Not the company who goes out of its way to make sure it won’t happen again. We don’t control on what the industry sells. We voice opinions on that product, they produce a better one and that’s what we installed for you! I get the frustration. Trying being the one who has to fix this issue they had no control of. We don’t do anything unless a homeowner agrees to the terms and price. We explained what we were going to do, the price, and you agreed. You paid the next day and it’s been 6 months. If you had an issue with the payment, why not just call in July?!? Either way. Thank you for your review.

  Was driving on 64 today (going above the speed limit in the right lane), when one of their company trucks flew by me and flipped me off. Clearly the employees do not care about how they represent the company.

  Professionalism, Responsiveness, and Customer-Service are all unmatched. While I did not end up using DeShazo and Son Roofing (the builder agreed to fix the issue), they were VERY helpful in getting my shingles fixed. They came out twice to inspect and photograph the roof and were always very responsive with any questions I have. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the Richmond area

  The whole process went really well. We have a slate roof that took some damage from the storm. They gave a good price to repair it and had it fixed in under a week from the initial call, definitely recommend.

  The real deal. Super fast, super capable, and super reasonable. DeShazo & Son got to the job the same day for stopgap repairs (closed a water leak right before a huge storm!) then completed the work days later. ALSO helped us install new dryer vent cap. They do it all!
