DO NOT USE THEM! They will destroy your utility lines and refuse to pay! Luke's team drilled a nail through my main AC line during transfer of title process in November 2025. Apparently they do not do free inspections on their own work. It is also a violation of federal law to vent or release those gases into the atmosphere during maintenance or construction activities. Their puncture caused a catastrophic, immediate release of the system's entire refrigerant charge and they failed to notice. They caused AC damage totaling $9,669.00 AND REFUSED TO COVER their mistake

Luke's team has been formally submitted with the following instance report stemming from his team drilling a nail through my main AC line during transfer of title process November 2025. Apparently they do not offer the free inspections on their own work. Thank you for looking over the technician report from [3rd party AC company]. I understand your position regarding how the original HVAC line was run close to the roof deck. However, an improper utility placement does not absolve your crew of liability for direct physical damage caused by their work execution. Furthermore, your text misstates the building code. The International Residential Code (IRC M1411.7) requires physical shielding for lines within 1.5 inches of the roof deck, not 3 inches. Because your crew shot standard nails directly past the 1/2-inch sheathing without verifying utility clearance or adjusting nail lengths in that bay, the puncture occurred. Additionally, under Section 608 of the federal Clean Air Act, the EPA classifies these refrigerants as severe environmental hazards. It is a violation of federal law to vent or release these gases into the atmosphere during maintenance or construction activities. Your crew's puncture caused a catastrophic, immediate release of the system's entire refrigerant charge and failed to report it. Because this obsolete R-410A system has lost its complete charge, it legally and mechanically cannot be partially repaired, requiring a full matching system replacement totaling $9,669.00 to return the property to its original condition. This is a clear-cut commercial property damage claim. Please provide your General Liability Insurance carrier name, policy number, and claims contact information by the end of the day today so I can hand this over to my insurance adjuster to initiate the claims process

Project One addressed a complicated issue with our metal roof when no other roofing contractors wanted to even give us an estimate. Their service was outstanding and reasonably priced. I have recommended Project One to several neighbors and friends.

Every spring in Northern Colorado, hail season reminds homeowners that their roof is the most exposed part of their house. Most people replace their damaged roof with the same standard shingles that just got destroyed — and set themselves up to do it again in a few years. There's a better option. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles cost a little more upfront, last significantly longer, and can qualify you for a discount on your homeowners insurance. If you're already replacing a roof, it's worth understanding what you're choosing between. What Makes a Shingle "Class 4"? Impact resistance is rated by a standardized test from Underwriters Laboratories called UL 2218. A 2-inch steel ball gets dropped from 20 feet onto the shingle — twice, in the same spot. If it doesn't crack, it earns a Class 4 rating. That's the highest level available. Standard architectural shingles typically land at Class 1 or Class 2. Class 4 is a different product built for a different level of punishment. Most Class 4 shingles use SBS-modified asphalt — rubber polymers blended into the material. A standard shingle cracks under impact. An SBS shingle flexes and recovers. That same flexibility also helps in Colorado's temperature swings, where freeze-thaw cycles wear out standard materials faster than anywhere else in the country. May 13, 2026
