  On Friday, July 30, 2021, a strong storm went through the Wellington area with winds, rain, and hail. I contacted Schroeder Roofing early Monday, August 2nd since that firm had roofed our house less than 3 years ago. Paperwork showed that there is a 5-year warranty. The Schroeder employee said that a project manager would be out likely by the next day to inspect the roof. Later that morning I called a competitor (Company C) who said they would come out the following day as well. Later that day, the Company C called and said they had a moment and could stop by shortly. Company C inspected the roof and determined that there was little if any damage from the hail. Company C also assessed and determined the likely place where water had entered the garage during this storm. Competitor C offered to repair the roof on the spot! I said “no” as I wanted Schroeder Roofing to warranty their work. Friday came and I still had not heard from Schroeder Roofing. I called them again and requested an appointment for the following Wednesday when I would be available. Schroeder Roofing did indeed show up the following Wednesday. To their credit, their project manager verified Company C’s assessment that there is either no or minimal impact from the hailstorm on the shingles. However, Schroeder Roofing project manager could not find the likely place where the water entered the garage. The Schroeder Roofing project manager could not explain the water damage to the drywall on the garage ceiling. The explanation the project manager gave is that since he couldn’t find the leak the water damage wasn’t due to their roofing work. The Schroeder project manager said in effect to appease me they would send out somebody to seal down some shingles. But if the project manager couldn’t find the leak, then how are they going to fix it? Why bother to do that? I informed the project manager that I would get back to him. Then on August 17 I get a call from Schroeder Roofing saying they want to sche

Just to assure you we have been here since 1977 and have had many employees come and go but the company always takes care of its customers. Otherwise we wouldn't stay in business for over 45 years. Sorry your taking your business elsewhere. If you find you need our services in the future ask for Jason I will take care of you.

Once we became aware of the oversight, we made multiple apologies, completed the work, and issued you a credit on your bill to show that we do truly care. There was one voicemail left on our office phone the day the roofing was being installed to inquire about the weather. We are open Monday-Friday 8-4:30PM and we received no other voicemails or phone calls by you and we were not contacted for 3 months until you contacted us via BBB. We hope that you will give us another try in the future, please let us know if there is anything we can do to address any other concerns you may have.

  I've been dealing with Craig since June and I can't even get a quote finished. Yet I know of bigger roofs that were started and finished in September it is now December 6 months later and I still can't get anywhere with this company. If you don't want my business you should have said something instead of wasting my time

  I was very happy with Greg & Schroeder Roofing. They went above & beyond making sure all items that may have been overlooked or missed in our claim were included and covered by our insurance company. They also arranged for our gutters to be installed upon completion of the roof.

  May 2026. Schroeder Roofing is an outstanding company. I am very happy I chose them. Schroeder Roofing was one of three companies I had bids from for a new DECRA Shake Metal roof on my house and detached garage. They were recommended to me by Monique Gaytan at the DECRA company. Ryan Hill was my project manager and he was wonderful to work with from the initial bid process to completion. Ryan was knowledgeable, respectful and always pleasant to deal with. Ashley McPherson, in Schroeder Roofing's office was also delightful to work with as the schedule changed due to supplies being delayed or weather issues. We emailed and talked on the phone. When the project was complete, Crystal Whitford, the general operations manager, quickly sent me the final documents. DECRA is an expensive metal roof that requires previous experience. The project took 6 days of labor, including tearing off the old asphalt shingles, laying the the Titanium® FR high-temp self-adhered underlayment, adding wood battens and then installing the metal panels. My new roof looks classy and will outlive me.
