I wish I could show our experience ~ We paid $$$$$ for a new roof. It leaked within first five years. They finally patched it with mismatched shingles and haven't been back. We have mold, and our ceiling is horrible as the leaks were bad enough. This has been the most distressing ordeal, and NOONE should be enduring this, especially if major health issues are present. WHY WHY WHY will you not just make this right? We've been trying to get this completed for weeks to months now. I can only say, if it's not done right, posthaste then it will be unfortunate that our attorneys will take it over..... it seems easier to just do your job, and do it right.

They assessed two porch roof leak and I contracted them to fix it. They created a new leak, fixed one leak, and increased the other leak. They deny all responsibility even though their contract claimed a 90 day workmanship warranty and …

We are very sorry to hear about your experience and we take full responsibility for the frustration it caused. After reviewing your project, it’s clear that mistakes were made under the oversight of our former Production Controller, a position we have since eliminated due to repeated issues. That change was made to ensure better quality control and accountability moving forward. We also want to emphasize that Pisgah Roofing & Restoration stands behind our workmanship warranty. It is never our intention for a customer to feel abandoned or misled. Our ownership team will be reaching out directly to coordinate getting your porch roof repaired correctly at no additional cost to you. At Pisgah Roofing, we value honesty, professionalism, and long-term solutions for our customers in the Tri-Cities TN area. Your feedback helps us improve, and we are committed to making this right. Pisgah Roofing was recommended by a friend for a commercial building I was looking to purchase. I paid a $350 fee for inspection and on the appointment time for the inspection, the inspector was a no show. I had driven 45 minutes to be …

Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Pisgah Roofing & Restoration, we value every customer’s time and always aim to provide professional, reliable service. We want to take ownership for not showing up to the first appointment. Severe storms were moving through the area, and while we don’t conduct roof inspections during unsafe weather conditions, we should have communicated with you sooner instead of leaving you waiting. That’s on us, and we apologize. When we rescheduled for Monday, you later left a message on Sunday when our office was closed saying you couldn’t make it. When we called to coordinate another date, it appears there was a mix-up with the day written down on your end. Our phone recording system confirms the correct day and time were provided. We understand how frustrating this was while you were on a tight schedule with your commercial property purchase. Your inspection fee has been refunded, and we’re reviewing our processes to improve communication so situations like this don’t happen again. We appreciate that you were referred to us by a friend, and we hope in the future you’ll give us another opportunity to show why so many property owners in Jonesborough, Johnson City, Kingsport, and across the Tri-Cities TN area trust Pisgah Roofing for inspections, storm damage repair, and roofing solutions. As a professional person who appreciates the need to review businesses in the world today, I do not however appreciate being asked to give a business a 5 star review from the actual business. It feels somewhat sketchy to have those working …

Thank you for your honest feedback. I’d like to offer the other side of the story for clarity. Our project estimator didn’t ask for a review of a completed roofing job, but rather for the work he performed during the inspection process. He arrived on time for the scheduled appointment, thoroughly inspected your roof, documented installation issues left by a previous contractor, and clearly explained his findings to help you make an informed decision. He then followed up with a detailed estimate outlining the recommended solution. We believe that kind of effort—showing up, communicating clearly, educating the homeowner, and delivering an honest estimate—is worth acknowledging. That’s the first step in the process, and one we take seriously. We often hear things like, “Thank you for answering the phone—we’ve called three or four companies with no response,” or, “You’re the only one who actually showed up out of the four estimates we scheduled,” and even, “Thanks for following through—no one else provided a quote.” We take pride in being consistent, reliable, and transparent, and we stand by the integrity of our process. If more energy could be spent building up instead of tearing down, what an incredible difference that would make. We truly wish you all the best moving forward and appreciate the opportunity to connect, even if the project didn’t move ahead.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with Pisgah Roofing & Restoration. After reviewing your project, it’s clear that our former Production Controller dropped the ball in properly diagnosing and executing the repair. That mistake is on us, and we take full responsibility. Since then, we’ve made important adjustments in that role to ensure this type of misstep doesn’t happen again. Our ownership team will be reaching out directly to coordinate getting your roof repair completed correctly at no additional cost to you. At Pisgah Roofing, we stand behind our work and our reputation. Customers in the Tri-Cities TN area trust us to provide honest, effective roofing solutions, and we are committed to making this right for you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can learn from it and improve. We look forward to resolving this and restoring your confidence in our company. The Pisgah Roofing & Restoration Team

I would never recommend this company. They stated that they needed the money up front so they could order my supplies for the roof that was leaking. I paid them the first of April and they said they would be right out. I thought it sounded fishy when they needed the money up front but I paid them anyway. They called and said they will be there on July 5th, but it was calling for rain and they rescheduled for the 9th. Due to waiting my celling fell in and damage the inside of my house. They came out covered the damage on the roof with a tarp and stated they will be out in a few days. They finally put my roof on but now there was more damage that they probably won't cover. Thursday the 11th of July the came and replaced the drywall other guy came out today the 16th to finish the drywall and they did have the material for him to complete and he had to go get the supplies and come back. He stated the company wanted him to complete the drywall and paint the same day. They wanted him to stay until it dried and paint. He stated that he would have to come back tomorrow to let it dry good. So again, another day of waiting for it to be completed. Iam so glad Iam not living there at the moment because it's a mess. I think they should fix the wall which has mold on it now and damaged, but they will get by with the least they have to do, and they will say it's not their problem. The communication they have is horrible. It makes me mad that all of the damage inside could have been prevented but it's not their place, so they don't care. They are all about the money not helping the customers.

Dom gave a wonderful presentation on how the roof would be great, have this great transferrable warranty, etc. My quote of $13,598 turned into a total bill of $20,800. It is an older house and I questioned whether it would need boards down for this. He told me my roof felt "solid" and he thought I might only need a couple of boards if any at $120 each. 65 sheets is what my small not even 1,200 square foot house cost. I was SO in shock with the final bill. And now...we have a leak and I think we have from the start and I cannot get anyone from there on the phone. I had to call the warranty people. I would NOT recommend this company!! Update: I have spoken to a couple of people, Katie and Jack, since this review, but I feel like they are only saying what I want to hear. No one has come out to access the damage to my home. I have had 2 crews on the roof and 1 spackling the ceiling which did not fix the issue. Each crew is all Latino individuals with only 1 that speaks English. There is a language barrier and I do not know what has been done or what is going to be done. I have damage to my ceiling, walls, floor and whatever in the attic and walls that is not visible. I know our blown insulation will need replaced. I am NOT happy with using this company. I paid them to destroy my home.😡🤬 Update: My home has been fixed. Brandon, 1 of the co-owners, has made sure this was taken care of. He is striving to get the communication between the business and customers to be exceptional. He gave me his personal cell phone # for any issues I may have during all this. It just took too long to get to this point. They are getting their issues resolved. Thank you Brandon for helping me SO with this!

Brayden and his crew with Pisgah Roofing was fantastic. Very professional, clean and communicated very well. Here early and a hard working crew. They installed new flashing, shingles and gutter guards. They were great to work with from getting the quote, work, final inspection and everything in between. I would highly recommend them.

Expectations met and exceeded. From the initial meeting with Jack for the estimate through my engagements with Dre and his installation crew, it was all I had hoped for. Jack was very informative and patient with my layman’s questions and concerns and provided a confident estimate that was very competitive amongst the seven estimates I secured. Dre and the installation crew were on time, and very methodical through the installation process. Dre was very responsive to my questions and requests. The installation crew worked very diligently with great attention to detail. The cleanup was thorough with magnets to get all of the stray nails. The final walk around was a foregone conclusion with no issues and a beautiful new roof that I feel very confident will last for decades.

The guys at Pisgah were great. They went to bat for us with the insurance company and got a lot more money for the roof replacement than what i expected. They were timely in every way. They showed up when promised and finished quicker than i expected given than the roof on our vintage 1914 building is a difficult one to work on. They took care to protect everything around the building and cleaned up after they finished the roof. I would use them again

Thank you to Owen, Dre and his crew and all the staff at Pisgah Roofing. Roof replacement work and clean up was done well and quickly. Dre is an outstanding project manager. He ran a smooth job and excellent crew while juggling multiple priorities. . Dre made sure the work was done right even if he it meant he had to do it himself. Very good experience. Owen measured and took pictures of everything and explained everything he found thoroughly. He was polite and professional.

The rep (Owen) was prompt for the appointment, assessed the job and went over all the steps in replacing a roof. After showing the steps involved, he went line by line with the estimate and gave me a quote. The entire process was quick, professional and he answered questions I had. Definitely left a good impression.

After heavy rain, roof damage is not always obvious from the ground. Missing shingles, lifted flashing, clogged gutters, or small leaks can go unnoticed until they cause interior water damage. A professional roof inspection can help homeowners catch issues early. Pisgah Roofing & Restoration inspects residential roofing systems across Asheville/Western NC and the Tri-Cities TN area to check for storm damage, leaks, aging materials, and repair needs. If your home has recently been through heavy rain or high winds, now is a smart time to have your roof checked.
