Christian, I do not see a proposal or job in our files that we have completed for you. I also see through your other reviews that you either own or work for 208 Roofing. I'm sorry for you that you need to focus your energy on tarnishing Perrenoud Roofing rather than make your company better. I wish you the best of luck in life... Nathan Perrenoud

Had one of the company trucks driving very reckless on the road. Almost caused multiple accidents. Would never use a company with that little regard to others in the community.

    Reply from the business

Jeremy, I'm not sure how to respond to this review. There are many reviews on Google that hurt businesses overall rating that really have nothing to do with the work that we complete in the area. Please give the office a call at 509-483-7100 if you would like to discuss this incident and how we can do better for you. Nathan Perrenoud

My wife and I were disappointed with the roofing and gutters installed. After reroof done the vent above stove had nails and sawdust that reached to the stove plus when wind blew a loud sound came from vent. The second person to look at the problem said first thing”we didn’t do this. It is not our responsibility “ They tried fixing it to no success until they replace vent. Then gutters were installed. First wind it sounded like helicopter over our house, it was gutter vibration, luckily an easy fix.they did not tell us to repaint under gutter- paint unknowingly peeled. Their response I should have known that- it wasn’t their job to tell us that. I refused to pay until job done because they wanted payment before items fixed. Also there was a lot of sawdust in garage. What else? Today I was told flashing installed wrong, so have to fix it. A one rating is not appropriate- zero is more like it.

Patrick, on 9/8/22 you sent in a request for a roof and rain gutter estimate for hail damage. On 9/22/2023 you met with our estimator, Keven, and authorized us to work with your insurance for the roof and gutter replacement. On 9/30/22 you signed the contract to allow Perrenoud Roofing to replace your roof and gutters as negotiated with your insurance company. On 3/29/23 PRI started the work and removed the roof and gutters. The roof deck was inadequate for new shingles and additional sheeting was added to meet code. On 3/29/23 a roof deck inspection was performed and approved by a Spokane County Building Inspector. On 4/4/23 the roof was completed. On 4/17/23 the rain gutters were started and completed. On 4/20/23 a work order was made for replacing a flapper vent that was defective. 4/24/23 The final inspection was completed and approved, with no corrections needed, by a Spokane County Building Inspector. On 5/25/23 you emailed Keven regarding the sound coming from the rain gutters. On 5/25/23 a work order was made to find the sound and fix it. On 5/26/23 our employee completed the work order for the sound. On 5/30/23 you notified Keven that the sound issue had been resolved. You also emailed Keven indicating a downspout joint connection was missed. On 8/5/23 you ran into Keven at the Farmers Market and told him how pleased you and your wife were with the new roof and gutters. You then asked for a painter referral and Keven provided that information. A month later on 9/5/23, you sent Keven a message indicating that you noticed some paint peeling under your gutters and wanted to know why the installers did not notify you. On 9/12/23 you left a voicemail indicating that you want PRI to remove the gutters, paint your fascia, and reinstall that gutter at no cost to you. That day, Keven responded that the installer did not note anything out of the ordinary and that PRI are not paint professionals, and that there were 2 weeks with the gutters off for him to have a paint

We had Perrenoud install garage doors on a few of our homes. The installation was equally as poor as the product. The doors do not close properly and are not square with the frame. We asked that they come fix them but received no response. We asked that they just come take them back and again received no response until we received a summons from their attorney. We fully intend to fight it and expect to win however, it would be much nicer if they would just come take their low quality product back.

    Reply from the business

Mr. Tikka, We have your signature on a contract stating you would like the least expensive product on the market. You have not paid for your products from not only Perrenoud Roofing, but many of your vendors. I invite everyone to look up your company CDB Builders thru the court system to find that you do not pay your vendors therefore there are many judgements against you. Your business practices are despicable and we will see you in court where we will get a judgement against you also.

If I can give minus five stars I would. Very very disappointing. I ask them to repair my deck roof leak especially at the joint with the house main roof. I paid $3600 for repair with 10 yrs warranty. They were back within days for same leak. The junction continue to leak and the company made several attempts and failed. They end up made temporary repair by laying temporary tarp and that stops the leak and advised me for whole house roof replacement or spend another $3600 to stop the leak. In the mean time I try contact another roof company to look at the situations they gave me estimate $700 to repair. They remove the tarp and spend 3 hrs and the leak has stopped ln just one trip. I feel I have been taken all these time. I think they owe me some refund for their mistake. The company had contacted me about the survey trying to clarify matters. I was told They may refund me some money. I expect them to do that. If they don't I will consult my attorney and contact local BBB here in Spokane. Here is my advise to all of you get at least 3 estimates and never ever trust one company.

Mr. Gulati, I am sorry you feel disappointed with our service. But I feel we have a story to tell in your disappointment. Perrenoud Roofing was hired to roof a new patio covering that was installed on your home on 4-18-20. We did successfully complete the roofing on this new patio, and tied into the existing roof. We were then told your roof was leaking. We returned to chase the leak on 5-22-20. Apparently the leak stopped for 5 months as we did not hear from you. We were informed on 10-15-20 that the roof was leaking again. We then sent a technician out again to chase the leak. We removed part of the roof we installed on the patio and learned it was not our roof that was leaking it was the main portion of your roof that was leaking. We tarped the roof as we did not see any apparent areas of water intrusion. We were informed the roof was still leaking and installed a larger tarp to see if the leak would then stop. This was the key, the leak stopped giving us an idea as to where to start hunting for the leak. This area was 15 ft above the roof we installed. Your roof only had a few years of life left so our salesman gave you the option of trying to repair the area OR reroofing the area. You chose to go with the reroofing as it was a more prudent plan of action. On 11-10-20 you called to cancel the reroof as you were selling your home. We graciously let you out of your contract as long as you paid for the products already provided. As to another company fixing the leak, it is very easy to fix once the leaking area of a roof is located. We did the leg work and now you write us a bad review. I hope you consider the amount of effort we went thru to help you and remove this bogus review. Feel free to call me at the office, 509-483-7100, to discuss this matter. Nathan Perrenoud

Very disappointing service. I have a simple repair to my roof they have made at least 8 trips to fix it. They could not and at the end they charge me more money and still did not fix it. It is also my mistake not checking and get more estimate because I trust them. The took advantage of my trust. Do not use their services. Get at least 3-4 bits. These days you just cannot trust people based of faith value. I hire a very small company they make one trip and fix the leak and I only pay them $700 compare to this company charging me several thousands more. If I can give them minus stars I will. They also talking me into new roof even though there is nothing wrong with mine. The estimate is about 35 % more than competitors. I still have my old roof that will last about 8 yrs more. I am glad I found new company to deal with. So folks do your research get at least 3 estimates. I intend to report this matter to our local BBB

We had this company come out in 2024 and the salesman stated we would have painted chimney flashing. The original aluminum flashing was left in place rather than the installation of new chimney flashing. It was very frustrating working with the crew and I. The end the job was adequate. Many of the roof tiles don’t lay flat and smooth. I should have reviewed them back when the roof was done but honestly didn’t think it would matter. ******* Perrenoud came out and swiftly fixed our flashing and loose tiles. This was huge! Thank you. And we are perfectly happy now. Amending our review. The moral to the story is I should have called and pushed.

Janice, Thank you for taking the time to review my company. I did read your entire review, spoke to Greg (our Production Manager) and read through all of your text messages with him. It does appear there was a lot going on between your solar panels needing to be removed by another company, the reroofing process and our continuing education classes we needed to perform. I can say that us not hooking up the vents the first time or even questioning the reinstallation of the vents is our shortcoming. I have spoken with Greg about this, and I assure you this problem will never happen again. I hope all in all you would recommend us to your friends and family. If there is anything I can personally do now that the roof has been completed to make this experience better, please feel free to call me at the office and I will do everything in my power to get tis done for you. It is nice to discover that honesty, transparency, and service still exist in 2025! I had a 40 year Elk comp roof installed (by another good, local roofing company) in 2006. For the past 2 years, I have been plagued by a plethora of sales people knocking on my door offering painting services, solar panels, window washing, and . . . you guessed it . . . a roof replacement. The roofing sales people have all advised me that my roof is worn and needs to be replaced. I don’t know how to tell if my roof is near end of life (short of water leaking into the house). So, I called the roofing company that installed my existing roof and they do not provide roof inspections. HOWEVER, they recommended that I contact Perrenoud Roofing!!! When one local, quality roofing company recommends another local roofing company (staking their reputation on the referral), you know they believe that I will receive a quality service. And, I most certainly did. Tyler S. came to the house the day after I called. Tyler was knowledgeable, forthright and personable. He inspected the entire roof and advised me that there had been some mild loss of the granules on the shingles, but everything else looked good. He estimated that my roof would easily last another 10 years, but said he would be happy to come back in 5 for a re-check. Since I have an architectural roof, he advised me that my next roof would need to be a tear off. Installing over existing shingles can void the new shingle warranty. Do you want to know what I was charged for this excellent service? NOTHING! Do you know what it was worth to me? PEACE OF MIND! Every single roofing company would like to draw in more business and they can do so honestly or dishonestly. Perrenoud Roofing provided honest, sound advice that was in MY best interest. You can rest assured that when I need to have my roof replace, I am calling them. (And, I am well-prepared to deal with the next roofing sales person who knocks on my door providin

Jennifer, I am very sorry for your experience with the deck repairs. First of all I would like to state that everything in your review is true. But, a few clarifying notes. When you initially told us about the decking damage, you were informed that I was on vacation and would get back to you once I was back to work. During that time you took it upon yourself to higher a repairman. Your repair price was very exurbanite for the work completed. Once I returned from my family vacation I did state that in our contract it is our right to repair any damage and that if you do not allow us the opportunity to do these repairs we are not responsible for the cost incurred. Ultimately we did pay the repair bill, but would have liked to follow the timeline set forth in the contract and do the minor repairs ourselves at a fair price. Again, I wish this all never happened, but ultimatly you received a great roof and all of your concerns were addressed exactly how you wanted. Nathan Perrenoud
