  A crew driving a Jimmy's Roofing truck was driving super fast in slushy conditions, and they turned left into our lane (2 left turn pockets and they were inside) and ran us off the road and sped off! If you roof as carelessly as you drive, you are not fit to be in business!!

  Jimmy’s roofing made a repair to our roof. The service man was nice and the job seem to be well done. The problem arose three months later when the check we had written to them as payment reappeared. Jimmy’s roofing cashed the check. But three months later that check image was changed and cashed against our account stealing from us nearly $2500. Initially Jimmy’s roofing offered us all sorts of explanations including Russian hacking and bank fraud. Our bank fraud department and the police said that was not at all the case. We cannot explain how the check image ended up in the hands of a criminal. But I feel it is important to share this in order to avoid this happening again and to warn anyone who has written a check to Jimmy’s Roofing to thoroughly review and keep a close eye on their checking account.

  Jimmy’s Roofing did some work for me a few years ago, and I’m only leaving a review now because I mentioned my experience to someone and they said it’s important I do. The quality of the work was great, they did an excellent job. The problem was, I provided the materials, and had everything prepped. They sent out two guys (it was a small job, patch something and add a couple vents), and they were there for about 3.5 hr. They charged me for 5 hr. During that time, one guy did all the work, and the other guy was new I think so he just stood there, never got on the roof. Now, maybe there’s some osha requirement or something to have someone on the ground, but he probably shouldn’t cost 100$/hr like the other guy. So about 1k for an incredibly minimal amount of work- and this is years ago, I’m sure prices have gone up. So I felt ripped off, and don’t recommend Jimmy’s Roofing for that reason.

  ******UPDATE********* Jimmy the owner contacted me and thanked me for my review. He took my points seriously, and like Ethan, wanted to make his business better. To that end they have changed several things. Now 1. When the emergency line is called, it is routed to an actual person 24/7. 2. When the answering service is reached, each call is tracked for follow-up. And 3. The roofers are staffed 5 days a week. These are big changes that I'm sure will result in improved customer service. Kudos to owner Jimmy for hearing feedback and responding so well! Original Review: First of all, this business is not open 24/7 as advertised. You can leave a message and they may call you back the next business day. They also don't necessarily work 5 days a week. The Friday I needed them, no crew was working since "they usually get their 40 hrs in by Thursday." Some do take call voluntarily. Next I was told the cost would be $396 for 2 men for 2 hrs including drive time. I clarified that this included work done within the 2 hrs. Two men came, did the work, left without telling me, but when I noticed, it had been 50 minutes. I was additionally billed for gas to get here (in addition to drive time), gloves, towels, tar, etc. When I called several times to ask about the bill, I could only reach an answering service in Oregon who said they would relay the message. No call back. I tried again a couple of days later and then could only reach an answering machine saying it was full and no messages could be left. I finally found Ethan's cell number online (Operations Manager) that he posted when responding to a negative review. I called him and he was great. He reduced my bill, acknowledged some issues, and wants to make his company better. His attitude and help were refreshing, although it was pure luck I found his direct number. I really should have been able to reach someone or had someone call me back by ordinary means.

  As an architect, I highly recommend Jimmy's My roof suffered wind damage from a storm earlier this year. I had four contractors come out to inspect the damage, but of all the contractors, Colvin from Jimmy's was the only one to take time and actually inspect the roof. Aside from photos, Colvin walked the roof to mark out areas of concern (rightfully so), video documented the roof, and then we discussed likely paths forward. From there the next step was insurance. I had been told by other contractors that, while the direct damage should be covered, that the rest of the roof was not likely. While only 1,700 square feet, my roof was complex (hips, low slope, difficult crickets, improper framing) and, given my situation, a localized repair was not feasible and a whole tear off was required. While working with my insurance, Jimmy's (Colvin in particular) was there every step of the way. Colvin worked with a public adjustor to provide an Xactimate estimate for my insurance and then worked with my insurance to explain the full scope of repairs. In the end, I give credit to Colvin and Jimmy's for helping get the entire roof approved by insurance, minus my deductible and some non-code related items. Once we had insurance approval, Jimmy's (Colvin and Joe) was quick to get me on the installation calendar and kept me updated throughout the entire process. From there, Joe took point as the on-site project manager. On the day of the install the crew showed up first thing in the morning and worked the entire day. I was impressed. During the tear-off, they alerted me to several concerns, including improper framing, lack of insulation, and vents that weren't venting. Instead of simply covering over those areas they gave me time to fix them so that the job could be done correctly. Due to previous DIY work on my roof (before my time), the install crew definitely had their hands full, but they worked quickly to correct the many mistakes of the past.   Jimmie’s did a fantastic job of replacing our roof. The roofers were very knowledgeable and worked hard, no messing around. Communication was also top notch concerning any questions throughout the whole project. The final product looks great, two other neighbors had their roofs replaced their roofs at approximately the same time and the superior workmanship can clearly be seen in our new roof. I really want to stress the excellent communication with Jimmie’s throughout the project

  Crew showed up early and worked until dusk to complete job in one day. Very little yelling of instructions showed me all crew members knew their specific tasks and how to perform them. Cleanup was amazing and new roof -- along with the professionalism of those who installed it -- is already drawing compliments from neighbors.

  When we started our search for a roofing company to replace our worn out, over due roof we saw Jimmy’s Roofing working in the neighborhood and really liked the quality of their work. We also talked to a Contractor friend who said he used them exclusively. Jimmy’s was the only call we made and couldn’t be happier with the job they did. Can’t say enough good about them

  Jimmy's Roofing was great from estimate all the way to end of the job. Alex was great at answering questions and following up on questions about the estimate and insurance. Joe, the contractor, was kind and easy to talk to, follow up was great, and if we had requests to be careful about something, they did their best to look out for it. The finished job looks great. They were quick to get us on the schedule and even when a few days of rain postponed it, it was still started within a week. Thanks to all the people working together to have and build a quality product!

  Jimmy’s Roofing was an outstanding experience from start to finish. After dealing with our third leak repair, we knew it was time to replace the roof (about 30 squares), so we gathered a few bids. Jimmy’s immediately stood out. The estimate process was thorough and professional. It took a little over an hour, and their estimator didn’t cut corners—he walked the entire roof, inspected the attic, and took the time to fully understand what the project required. Other companies either quoted from the ground or relied on satellite images, but Jimmy’s approach felt far more comprehensive. What really set them apart was what happened after the inspection. The estimator sat down with us at our dining room table and walked through everything in detail—explaining potential trouble spots and making sure we clearly understood what they were seeing and recommending. That level of communication built a lot of trust. While their bid wasn’t the lowest, the quality of product and overall offering was clearly superior. The transferable warranty—available even without going to their highest-tier product—was a major factor for us. I also appreciated Colvin taking the time to share how Jimmy’s invests back into the community. That matters to our family. Installation was just as strong. Miguel’s crew was fantastic—he introduced himself to my wife when they arrived, and the entire team was respectful, efficient, and incredibly professional. The job was completed much faster than expected, and multiple neighbors even commented on how quiet the crew was, which says a lot for roofing work. Overall, a great experience. We feel confident we chose a top-tier provider and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jimmy’s to anyone needing roofing services.

  Excellent service, quality work, and friendly installers. They only fixed what was needed and did not try to upsale to other areas that did not need replacing. Phone service and in-person work was excellent and truly helpful. Would highly recommend.
