  This three window installation took nearly a year to complete. During the quotation process, we were told this would be a 12-week schedule to completion. After signing the proposal, we waited nearly three months while Patriot ‘waited for township approval’. Fun fact - I work at said township and the township did not receive an application for several months. So this was a lie. Scheduled appointments were cancelled several times in that year of waiting. Factors like ‘rain’, ‘wind’, and ‘internet outages’ made it impossible for us to get the windows installed. Then when the appointments took place - a window track broke while they were trying to finish the job. I happened to get a closer look at the windows exterior today (this is why I’m writing the review) That is not dirt on these windows - it’s caulk. It’s smeared everywhere on the exterior. The finish work is abysmal. The double hung window has caulk and dirt smeared everywhere on the interior windowsill. The same window is so hard to align we often can’t get it to lock. It has already had the paint worn off from trying to latch it. $3,000 spent for this quality of work is unacceptable.

  They did a good job on the roof, however my lawn was tore up bad. They have been telling me for about six weeks now they would take care of it…not yet. I tried to contact my salesman, got transferred to the project manager, and the to a lady in the office. Nobody would come out to take a look, just a bunch of empty promises. Good luck if you choose to use them for you project.

  Would give lower if available. Job was not done as discussed. "Contract" if you can call it that was very vague. This gave the owner the room to navigate thru the issues I had with their work. All he had to say was how much it would cost him to do it right. I was informed they had employees who installed to only be given 1099 contractors who did not speak English. This was not what I wanted and why I asked if the had w2 employees, which I was told they did. Overall, ai would NEVERuse this company or recommend them to anyone based on the owner's reaction to a problem I had with their performance.

  Was not pleased with their customer service lady. I called for service on a roof repair and she said “will your husband be home?” I replied “no” she then insisted “we can schedule you a different day so he will be home to talk to” ummm… …

  My house looked better after the tornado hit it. First I want to start off by addressing the fact that their sales person promised me two things that did not happen. He stated the siding that was damaged would be repaired during the installation and he also said that my chimney would be painted. I want to focus on the chimney aspect as this is not something I would expect a roofing company to do but he made a point to tell my wife and myself that they would go above and beyond to paint my chimney to match the flashing. After completion the owner of Patriot Exteriors told me that they haven't painted chimneys for many years. Then why did your salesperson make such a big deal out of it? Why is it in our contract? I will include a picture of that portion of the contract for when Patriot inevitably refutes this review. As for the siding Patriot just told me it was always like that and that they couldn't fix it. I'm the one who lives here so no it definitely has not always been like that. In fact your salesperson told me directly it would be fixed during the installation of the shingles and like a fool I believed him without including it in the contract. That's my fault for just taking their word. The siding portion I'm referring to is directly above the shingles in several pictures I will include and is lifting away from the home after the storm damage. Lastly I want to focus on what to me is the biggest issue. The installation of all the extremely long vents you see in most of the pictures. Those giant gashes on the sides of my roof that for me make the whole thing an eyesore. According to Patriot Exteriors those are required by code to ventilate the attic. That I could almost get behind but why so many and why are they so long? Why are they above the first level which has no attic? If in fact this is required and a code issue then why can't I find another house in Portage that has them? Does everyone else in town have roofs that aren't up to code? I'm not sure but i

  The owner , Showed up late for our free estimate. Two weeks later I called left a message that we had received no estimate. I did finally get a call telling me that our little 150 year old country church was "not a good fit" for them ? Sorry to bother you with our little $24,000 roof job patriot.

  I would highly recommend Patriot Exteriors! Remy was awesome and the entire experience was excellent. Everyone was super professional and helped navigate the insufferable insurance stuff. My new roof is SO nice!! Thank you!!

  Fantastic work, I have a very large roof that is steep and they were in an out in a day. It looks amazing. Remy and Joe T were great to work with. Bought the crew pizza for a job well done. Would recommend Patriot Exteriors to anyone.
