  Called for a window replacement quote 2 months ago. Greg came by the next week, but still have not received the quote. Greg is worthless when it comes to getting back to people. Went with a different company, thankfully. Don't waste your time!!!

  I’m sure you do good work And you have some beautiful black trucks that are very expensive and nice. It would be nice if your workers would drive them with experience and courtesy and not just drive up behind you after you had plenty of space to pull out and ride right on top of you very unprofessional. There are a lot of exterior contractors, but this would make me not want to use you risk in people safety when they’re with their families.

  Hi Scott. Thank you for your inquiry. A call to the office to check on this would have been much quicker to sort this out than a bad review. As you can imagine with the recent storms we have been scrambling to get to everyones request for quotes. If you would be so helpful as to give me either last name or address so we may look up the salesperson you were assigned to, that would be helpful. I can then make sure they follow up or if they may have had a bad contact phone number etc. They may have tried and had issues. So if you will give me any other information to help you, that would be great. Thank you.

  Normally if there is ever the rare issue with someones driving, we always appreciate the citizen calling the office and letting us know the time and location of the incident. We are able to track our drivers and would have been able to reprimand the correct offender. We will certainly try to figure out who it may be. I truly hope your day is better than the history of bad reviews you have given, as you dont seem to have very good luck with service oriented places.. Take care.

  These people do not have their act together at all. Called them on a Monday to quote some repair work on my roof. Well they certainly came out and quoted me and told me they would be getting back to me in a couple days to do the work. Well …

  I am saddened to even have to write this review. I've used Lyster Exteriors for many years and have always trusted their company until recently. Unfortunately, I had water damage in my living room due to severe rain. Both the insurance company and Vandam & Kruisinga were concerned with the workmanship of Lyster Exteriors. Both of these companies believe that the water damage was caused by the roof decking not being repaired properly as the roof slopes down into the window. The flashing was not installed properly and the end of the flashing was not caulked. Also, the caulking job on the flashing was not properly installed. I expressed my concerns to the service manager of Lyster who promptly came out and assured me that everything was "perfect". A couple weeks later I found another error on my sun porch roof that they had replaced this past summer. I expressed my concern to the service manager and asked to speak with the owner. After requesting the owner to get involved, the service manager said, "If this is the way you wish to have things handled, you will no longer hear from me." The way I was treated by the service manager was disheartening and unprofessional. Lyster did send out someone to repair the error on my sun porch. My understanding was the worker was to just repair the sunporch roof, but the worker decided to also caulk the roof that caused the water damage (again, even though the service manager assured me everything was "perfect"). If everything was perfect, why did a worker feel the need to caulk the flashing that caused the water damage in my living room? I was told the only way they would own up to the water damage is to do a water test (makes sense, right?). However, how can a water test properly be done to determine whether Lyster is at fault when the workmanship was modified/caulked by a Lyster employee? I've requested for the owner to call me multiple times to no avail. I never thought I would ever have to write a Google review as I'm not that t

  I got an estimate to replace my front door from the people that resided my house znd that i had just given a roofing referal to. The salesman Josh Hoppe didnt know about doors or installation of them , just brought catalog, He originally quoted similar doors to what i had as my wife looked through catalog. Upon finfing a door she liked we inquired about pricing,and recieved what appeared to be high price quotes but neither door was right as the glass was not correct.We then settled on a door and recieved a quote that ended up being 2 times manufacturers list price. list was $6200 qnd quote was over $11000. An installation price of 2995 when other quotes ran 900-1000. I sent info to management at Lysters with copies and descriptions , and no one ever got back to me. I purchased the door from another vendor for $5000

  We had new black gutters installed and also had the wood around our windows wrapped in black. Because Lyster Exteriors was very busy, the two services were completed separately. Unfortunately, the gutter installation was not a good experience. There were about four people working on the job, and our security cameras showed how unhappy they were about doing the work and even damaged part of our siding. Unfortunately, that lack of care showed in the finished product, particularly in how the leaf screens were reinstalled. The screens were sticking up in several places and were clearly not sitting flush. I could tell immediately when I pulled up to the house that something was not right. Here is where the experience gets much better. We called Lyster Exteriors, and the project manager immediately came out to inspect the work. He guaranteed that they would correct the issue when they returned to wrap our windows. We had to wait a couple of months, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Rob Christianson did a phenomenal job. He corrected the gutter screens, wrapped the windows, and completed a fascia and siding repair. He spent two full days at our home to make sure everything was done correctly and took the time to include me throughout the entire process. His attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to doing the job right completely changed our experience. While the initial gutter installation was disappointing, Lyster Exteriors absolutely stood behind their work and made it right. Rob’s workmanship was exceptional, and we truly appreciate the effort he put into making sure we were satisfied with the finished product.

  I have a 40 year old pole barn/garage that needed the soffits replaced and a new roof. Contacted Lyster's and they had a rep out the next day to look at the project. Got the price and felt it was reasonable plus I live in the Climax area and like to support local businesses. I signed the contract, made the down payment and got on the production schedule. 3 weeks later the soffit crew showed up. They were fast, efficient and very conscientious of all the landscaping around the garage. A week later the roofing crew showed up. Same thing,. Did great work that I am very happy with.

  Tom Witherell did a great job communicating about the door install, this is the second Lyster installed in my house. The contactor Rob Christianson did a great job installing the door, fast and cleaned up. The reason for four stars was the cost, everything is costing more to get things done but my income has been the same for years. Thank you for the service Pat

  Replaced shingles on my roof. Josh came out to look at roof repaired some damage till the roofers could come out. Roof looks wonderful. Your company rep Josh very easy to work with. Highly recommend. I had a large roof and they did a great job.

  The Lyster contractors who carried out the replacement of our porch posts and railings were excellent. The work was carried out professionally, they were courteous and quite efficient, completing the work in about half the time estimated. I would hghly recommend them and I would certainly use them again.
