walter at Ortega Family & Construction was amazing to work with. he helped us get our roof and gutters replaced quickly, and the whole roofing process felt smooth from start to finish. i was worried about roofing nails being left in the driveway or yard after the crew finished, but they stayed for almost an extra hour to do a careful cleanup and final sweep of the property. that gave us real peace of mind since we did not want a flat tire or any risk to our animals. he was very responsive, easy to reach, and always ready to answer questions about the roof work, materials, and timeline. the crew worked hard, paid close attention to detail, and made sure everything was done the right way. with the warm weather and storms we get in Richmond, it felt great to have a solid new roof and gutter system protecting our home. i would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing, gutter, or home exterior work done fast and done well.

Ortega Family & Construction replaced our roof quickly and did excellent work. Later, when we had water getting into the house, we called and Walter came out the next day to inspect the roofing system. The shingles, flashing, and all the roof work were still in great shape. He found that the leak was coming from another area, something other contractors had missed. He took time to check everything carefully, showed us photos, explained the issue in simple terms, and even removed the gutter section to help confirm the source. He was very helpful, honest, and generous with his time, and he even offered to speak with the insurance company. They really go above and beyond for their customers, and I highly recommend them for any roof repair or roof replacement.

After a storm, I contacted several roofing companies, and this team was the only one that acted right away. Curtis made sure we understood the whole roofing process, answered our questions quickly, and kept in steady contact while we waited for the insurance funds to be released. The crew came out to tarp our roof any time we had leaks before the full roof replacement. They installed our new roof with updated shingles and also handled the interior damage caused by the leak. I would highly recommend them for roofing work. They did an excellent job and were honest, professional, and dependable.

Ortega Family & Construction was excellent. Our roof started leaking around a skylight not long after a roof replacement, and we wanted a roofer who could find the real issue without pushing extra work. We had already gotten two estimates. …

We had a slightly delayed start because one of the roofing crew members was out sick, but once the team got going, everything went very smoothly. They did an excellent job on the new roof and skylight installation. The crew carefully protected the landscaping, kept the job site clean each day, and showed real skill with the roofing work from start to finish. What stood out most was how easy they were to work with during the shingle selection process. They took the time to help us find the exact roof color we wanted instead of pushing us toward only their usual suppliers. They even pointed out another home in Richmond so we could better match the type and style of shingles we liked. That extra effort made the whole roofing experience feel much more personal and helpful. They were professional, reasonable in price, and clearly understood what works well for homes in Richmond, including materials that hold up well through heat, humidity, rain, and changing seasons. I would gladly recommend them to anyone in Richmond looking for dependable roofing service and quality workmanship.

Highly recommend company: Ortega Family & Construction for metal roofing. If you need roofing materials for a big job or a small repair, this is the place to use instead of the big box stores. Their pricing is very competitive, and the quality of the metal panels, trim, and roofing supplies is much better. the staff is knowledgeable, willing to answer questions, explain how the roofing materials fit together, and give helpful advice for the install. Turnaround time for getting your order is only a few days, and they can custom cut materials to your measurements, which made the whole roofing project easier and more accurate. amy was very helpful, my roof project came out great, and i was very happy with the service. i will recommend them to anyone doing metal roofing and plan to buy from them again in the future.

After moving into a new home, I needed a full roof replacement and had a great experience with Ortega Family & Construction from beginning to end. Before the roofing install started, the communication was quick, clear, and very helpful, which made the whole process easy to understand. The crew arrived early and got right to work without disturbing anyone in the house. They completed the new roof in just one day, and the job was handled with real skill and care. I also appreciated how well the roofing crew was treated during the project. They were given time for lunch and had water and ice available to stay comfortable during the warm weather. That showed a lot of respect for the workers and reflected well on the way the job was managed. Curtis did an excellent job coordinating everything and made sure the project stayed on track. Once the roof work was finished, they did a careful cleanup and checked the yard closely for nails and other debris. The new roof looks great, and the whole experience felt professional, organized, and stress free. I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement, roof repair, or other roofing services.

10/10 experience! After a bad storm, we were waiting far too long to hear back from another roofer, so a friend suggested we call frank. i am so glad we did. frank came out the same day, checked the roof, explained the damage clearly, and quickly got us on the schedule with exact pricing. We had been needing straight answers for a while, and he made the whole roofing process simple and stress free. I was close to having a baby, so getting the roof replacement finished soon was very important, and frank made it happen. He was professional, honest, and easy to talk to during the inspection and throughout the job. I never felt pressured, and the whole roofing crew was respectful and hardworking. They handled the tear off and install efficiently, kept us updated, and paid attention to the details. we gave the crew a cooler with drinks, and they were very thankful and even cleaned it out afterward. The cleanup was excellent too. we did not find nails or debris in the yard, and the gutters were installed shortly after the roof was completed. everything looks great, and the workmanship was done very well. If you need roofing help in Richmond, call frank because he will take care of you.

We had trouble with our gutters getting blocked by pine needles since our house in Richmond is surrounded by trees. Water was overflowing in some spots and the gutters on the second floor kept clogging up. We heard good things about this roofing company from another local business. Santiago reached out to set up a time to check things out. He was straightforward and only recommended what was really needed for our situation. Santiago also double-checked with his team to make sure his advice was spot on. After the new gutters were put in, Santiago came back to do a final walkthrough with us. We’re really satisfied with the work and are looking forward to the next rain to see how well the new gutters perform.
