Organ Mountain Roofing & Construction

The only one or two-star review we hold for Organ Mountain Roofing & Construction.

In 2021, my mother and I hired Organ Mountain Roofing and Construction, and regrettably, it has been an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. At first, Zach came off as professional, and I was sold on his pitch, which promised quality work and customer care. Unfortunately, what we received was a complete failure to address the issues with my roof. Despite their assurances, the work they performed was not only subpar but also shockingly failed to resolve the leaks that prompted my initial call for help. I repeatedly raised my concerns, and I will add that Zach did “address” these concerns by coming to our home, “inspecting” the roof (free of charge, which he reminded my mother of this aspect when she called him yesterday), then stating it was all good. We trusted him and believed there was no need to worry. After the initial construction, my roof continued to leak each time it rained. Zach came out to look at the issue approximately 3 times and said it was fixed. It rained the other day, and the roof is still leaking (nearly four years later). There are puddles throughout my roof, and it needs to be built up to prevent this from happening in the future. In Zach’s contract, it states, “Build up potential pooling areas on the roof with puddle plaster.” This did not happen. I called another contractor for an opinion, and when they came to inspect the roof, photos were taken, and I was appalled to see the actual situation on my roof. The roof of our home appears as if we have been experiencing rain for many months, resulting in severe water damage. We hired another contractor to inspect our roof this afternoon, and not only did he confirm what the previous one stated, but he also asked, “What did this person use? There are micro-holes throughout your entire roof.” These are details that Zach failed to disclose when he was here last September. But not just last September, this includes the other times he was here, after the roof was supposedly “fixed” in 2021. We

We’re truly sorry to hear about the ongoing issues you’ve experienced and want to thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. It’s never our intention for any of our customers to feel dissatisfied, and we regret that this has been your experience. In response to your concerns about the micro-holes, we arranged an on-site inspection on December 2nd, 2021, as we wanted to ensure a thorough evaluation. As you may recall, the inspection included members of our team and a representative from the roof coating manufacturer. During that visit, the manufacturer rep determined that the overall condition of the roof was excellent, with the exception of the areas that were leaking due to excessive expansion and contraction of the home near two of the drains on the south side of the roof. The micro-holes observed by the rep were considered superficial and not expected to impact the long-term performance of the coating. That said, we completely understand how frustrating it can be to deal with any kind of roofing issues, especially after placing your trust in us. Because of your concerns with the roofing materials, we encourage you to reach out directly to the manufacturer with whom the 10-year material warranty is provided. Their team includes product specialists who may be able to offer additional insight or support, and possibly compensation if a material defect is confirmed. We remain willing to return and further address the situation if you’d like us to. We care about your satisfaction and would appreciate the opportunity to help make things right.

We had a leaking skylight that needed repair. I spoke with Gabby who was very friendly and scheduled me for an estimate within two days. Kaleb came out to give me an estimate and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t feel like he was trying to upsell me anything and he was very honest & genuine. Thank you!

These guys came out and found an issue that had been a major nuisance for over a year. Every other roofing company I used not only failed to find the problem, but their assessment was always to slap on an entire new roof. Organ Mountain Roofing & Construction came out and FIXED the issue. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Wow...thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to myself and the entire Organ Mountain Roofing team. It was a pleasure working with you, and I'm glad we were able to save you some money by taking the time to perform the adhesion test instead of just assuming primer was needed. We always try to recommend what is best for the roof—not what is best for us—and I'm happy that came through during your experience. Thank you as well for your service to our country. It was an honor to provide you with our veterans discount, and we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to earn your trust and your business. If you ever need anything in the future, whether it's a maintenance inspection or just a question about your roof, don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks again for the incredible recommendation!

Kaleb and his crew coated our balcony a few years ago. A couple of weeks ago, we had a leak right underneath the balcony (turns out it wasn’t the balcony after all). Kaleb came out the very next day to inspect the balcony for any damage. He set us up for some general maintenance on it. He and his team are very fast and efficient!
