I purchased a home in Las Cruces and had some concerns about the 20 year old roof that had some spongy areas. The out-of-state owner contracted with Gilbert and Sons to look at the roof. They …

I called Gilbert and sons roofing to get an estimate to repair a roof leak. They told me that they would charge $150 to give me an estimate. The $150 would be applied to the repairs if I was to agree to the estimate. The gave me an estimate …

Find another roofing contractor! It was a nightmare dealing with Bob Gilbert. He pulled a building permit for my roof and never scheduled a final inspection, when I asked him for a copy of the final he said he couldn’t find the permit to look it up then stopped responding. I ended up having to call the city and schedule the final roofing inspection myself. Things actually got worse, Bob included a five year warranty with the job, transferrable to a new owner free of charge if we sold our house within the five year warranty. We moved a year and a half later and when I asked to transfer the warranty to the new owner he requested a check of $300 after he specified that it would be free. A week later he told me that he would transfer it if I gave him a check of $500, when I refused he stopped responding again. Long story short don’t trust this guy!

I was charged 150.00 for an estimate on my roofing. Gilbert was supposed to be present when the insurance adjuster arrived and he never showed up. Scam!!

We had work done to the roof and had our stucco painted and sealed. We paid for the owners to visit and make the estimate but this was credited to us on the invoice for the roof work. The crew completed the roof work in a day. We are on the edge of our development on the desert. We had some roofing issues that were resolved. Same with the stucco. The crew applied two coats of paint that will seal the cracks that were present in our original stucco. We had other estimates for the stucco work and the price of our job was consistent with the other estimates. There is something special about this crew. They prayed with us after both jobs and they worked hard to make a great product. They did their best and praised God in their work. Very happy with the results.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had our roof repaired by this company last year, so when we recently noticed another leak, they were the first people we called. They drove 45 minutes to come out, thoroughly inspected everything, and discovered the roof wasn't actually the problem! The leak was coming from around our heating and cooling vent pipe. Even though it wasn't technically a roofing issue, they didn't just tell us to call someone else- they went out of their way to pick up the materials needed and took care of the problem themselves. Honest, dependable, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, this is the kind of company that's becoming harder and harder to find. They never tried to sell us something we didn't need. Instead, they took the time to identify the real issue and make sure it was fixed the right way. We're incredibly grateful for their professionalism and exceptional customer service. The fact that they were willing to drive 45 minutes to help us, even for something that wasn't their responsibility, speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. It's clear they truly care about their customers, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing company they can trust.

We had our roof replaced by Gilbert and Sons, Anthony and his crew were very friendly, helpful and very professional. We are very happy with the way our roof turned out. I highly recommend Gilbert & Sons for any roofing or stucco jobs! Thank you Anthony! A few years later, we called Gilbert and Son's to give our home a new and improved look! Once again they've out did themselves. We called Bob, he came out that same day and started working. Next thing you know him and his crew restuccoed our whole house. In less than 24 hours we have a whole new house. Thank you to you and your awesome hard working crew. We are once again so happy with your professionalism and honest work.

Gilbert and Sons has been great to work with. They provided quotes for two different houses I was considering buying, and both times they were prompt, fair, professional, and on time. Their communication was good, and they made the process easy while I was trying to make decisions on the homes. Once I close on my house, I plan to have them handle the needed repairs. Definitely recommend them.

I had a great experience with Gilbert & Sons Roofing. They were amazing to work with from start to finish and took the time to address all of my questions and concerns throughout the project. The crew was professional, efficient, and kept me informed every step of the way. They completed the roof much quicker than I expected without sacrificing quality. The finished work looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Gilbert & Sons Roofing to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality roofing work. 10/10!
