Wish I could give a million NEGATIVE stars! Best I can tell, to date, three (3) different roofing business names held the same address of 802 Hwy 27 in Minneola - "Clermont Roofing," "Oviedo Clermont Roofing," and "The Original Clermont …

Beware!! This company does the classic bait and switch. Their sales person Steve Blanton came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate on reroofing a project that I had. He was very responsive prior to getting the job but after, "cricket". PROBLEM: When the work started their Operation's Manager Renee Arment started off with good communication and updating me, at first she emailed me pictures and approval request for additional work that came up. I thought they were being very transparent and had my trust. I never heard back from them so I assumed everything is going as planned and there is no other work order changes. Then I got my bill, which was inflated by over $4000. I Questioned Renee and she claimed that the contractors had changed out rotten wood. I asked her to provide proof, she emailed me pictures of two sheets of rotten plywood and pictures of new installed plywood. I continuously asked her to send me proof that the other plywood and facia boards were rotten but she was not able to provide. She then referred me to the contract, saying that Clermont Roofing does not have to provide proof or get authorization to change out any "rotten wood". THIS IS HOW THEY SCAM YOU". MY ADVICE: If you are going to use this company or any other roofing company have them provide pictures and get your authorization before making any changes. Everyone has a cell phone and this can be done easily. I assume that their high rating is because most people go through their insurance company and don't care how much it costs. I paid this from my pocket, so it hurts to know that I've been cheated.

They installed our roof . Would not hire them again. They broke a window, fell through the ceiling and backed into the house causing damage to an interior wall. They claimed to replace a few sheets of plywood but could not give me a clear picture of the replaced wood. They charge for wood that I'm sure was not even installed. I would not recommend them.

In the three years since the 2018 roof installation, there have been numerous callbacks for leaks due to missing shingles, inadequate flashing, and improperly placed gutters. Only use this company if you are knowledgeable about roofing and …

I used this company a year ago to fix a leak and they needed to come back twice. I informed them I still had the same issues and they refused to come back out. I do not recommend this company at all.

Asked 1 week ago for an estimate and was told an estimator would reach out to me....they never did. I take it they are busy and not accepting any new work orders at this time.

After nearly a six-month ordeal - a nightmare dealing with Clermont Roofing, owner/contractor Patrick Scott, my 78 year old husband (a Veteran that many of you know as "Marine Bill") and I advise you hire a company that guarantees a correct, good job for their customers. Clermont Roofing is the absolute worst, most unreliable, untrustworthy company we've encountered to date. They installed a new roof mid March 2018, and field supervisor "Frank" advised us to wait a full week of heat for the architectural shingles to settle down before noting any issues or concerns - they would correct any issues. A week later, we noticed many rows of shingles were incorrectly measured and installed - rows of much shorter shingles (approx 3 inches) while the remaining were approx 6 inches. We contacted the office via email which prompted the arrival of their representative "Abel" to inspect - who reported the crew didn't measure the job properly before beginning, found unreported damage to our chimney, nails covered our property causing 3 flat tires. His inspection report prompted the dispatching of a "correction" crew of approx 6-8 men. Owner Patrick Scott met with us 3 times - seemed very apologetic and concerned - and climbed on top of the roof to inspect before and after the correction crew. My husband and I are an older couple - physically unable to climb onto our roof to inspect, and the work is difficult for us to see from the ground. Scott assured us the errors had been corrected, and we would see that after the shingles settled down. We made payment to Clermont Roofing - not realizing we couldn't trust Patrick Scott's report. We didn't realize we needed to hire an independent roof inspector to ensure a correct, proper job by Clermont Roofing - BEFORE making payment. Shortly thereafter, we found those errors had, in fact, not been corrected - Patrick Scott's report of the work was simply false - we have the photo documentation and roof to prove it. Highly recommend to anyone with roofing needs!! After a thorough assessment of what needed to be done and what our goals & priorities were, Rich walked my husband and I through the entire process. Once all our ducks were in a row (HOA approval, permits, etc.) and work actually began, Tiffany communicated every step of the way - from the schedule of events, to invoices, to inspections and wind mitigation visit - it all was laid out in advance. Victor was our project manager and he was on-site and available each day. This team is excellent and truly cares about the job they do and maintaining a reputation for quality, honesty, and transparency.

Five stars are not enough for this OUTSTANDING company. Senior Citizen here. Untrusting but willing to take a chance. Rich came right away and on time. He presented himself well, complimented my hard work on my home and cared and helped pick out the right shingles for my home. When I decided to go with his company I told him I was putting my trust in him and to not let me down and he said "I Promise". He and his employees didn't let me down. They went above and beyond to answer all calls, texts and emails right away. He went the extra mile for me and it is greatly appreciated. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company and their product. Thank you Rich, Tiffany and Victor for an amazing job and experience. I love my new roof thanks to you all.
