Terrible job flashing isn't even close to par absolute hack job done would not recommend anyone going with them. Exposed nails then when they came back to tar them looked like a kindergarten student did the work. Looks like I'll have to get my roof redone by professionals

Admittedly this isn’t up to Oakwood standards but it was installed the way you wanted. We were very disappointed in the person who did the work and we wanted to repair to our standards however you would not allow us back on the project.

Oakwood Roofing has caused me a lot of unnecessary grief, significant added expense in needing to hire another contractor to repair Oakwoods poor work, damages to the interior of my home and trouble since the first day I hired them to install new shingles on my home. DO NOT HIRE (In response to you; more BS from Oakwood)

  Reply from the business

We’re sorry we are not able to help you. We have explained that your water seepage problem is not because of your shingle roof, so yes, you do need another trade to fix the problem. As the leak persisted after repairs were completed by the other roofing company you hired should be sufficient evidence that it is not a roofing issue.

They botched my roof and still charged me over $5000. DON’T GO WITH THID COMPANY!

Had discoloured shingles on one section of my roof. Was quoted $5700 to R&R them. Gregg from Oakwood came down to look and told me shingles were fine just had algae on them and could be wash.

Thank you so much for the 5-star review, Rob! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Greg takes a lot of pride in giving honest advice and helping homeowners make the right decision instead of recommending unnecessary work. We’re glad we could save you from an expensive replacement!

Oakwood roofing replaced our roof 15 years ago and it is still in amazing shape. We return from holidays a couple of weeks back and there is a steady rain and we have a leak dripping into our living room around 8 PM. We panic, we call them and they send someone over in 1/2 hour. It was cracks in our chimney he discovered, showed us the pics and he repaired it immediately and stopped the leak before there was any damage. 5+ stars for response and service. Thank you!!!!!

We had our sunroom done in 2023 with Euroshield Beaumont Shakes. Oakwood Roofing was the only installers in Winnipeg who were able to install these shakes (made from recycled tires). At first we balked at the expense but because standard shingles (two different times) still resulted in a leaky roof we decided to go for it. After two years with not one drop we had the rest of our roof done this February (2025). The installers (Aaron & assistant) did a fantastic job and the roof looks amazing. We can say goodbye to the yearly accumulation of asphalt grit in our eaves. The 50 year warranty means we will never have to have the roof redone. The shakes are very resistant to wind and hail. I highly recommend the product and Oakwood Roofing. Excellent job guys.

I had a fairly minor roof repair done, and the job was done quickly and flawlessly. I was also impressed with everyone I spoke to at the company, from reception to sales, to the actual guy who worked on the roof. The price was good as well, and I would 100% use their services again.

I had rotting fascia boards and after some contractors told me I just needed new eavestroughs, one told me I needed a repair to my flat roof portion of my house. They suggested Oakwood and I am so very grateful. The work was done efficiently and effectively by skilled and friendly experts. Thank you so much!

I'm grateful for Oakwood Roofing's support and quick coordination when we needed to get snow removed from our roof after a large, heavy snowfall. In particular, a shout-out to Neysa. Thank you!

We spent a fair bit of time talking to roofing companies and researching their expertise. We decided on Oakwood and were not disappointed. They took on an extremely difficult job for us. Log homes come with "interesting" construction requirements as logs are beautifully unconventional! Oakwood removed a large troublesome metal roof, put on osb decking, membrane, ice shielding, flashing, shingles, and replaced some of our 14" metal facia. Our roof has a very steep pitch and 4 dormers. Again, not an easy job. Their price was not the lowest but they came through for us in quality of work. We really enjoyed having the team around. And it absolutely was a full Oakwood team effort on this job. We would absolutely refer Oakwood Roofing. They are really busy, be patient and you won't be disappointed.

We decided to have Oakwood install a snap lock metal roof and had the best crew. Not only were they patient with all our questions they were incredibly talented. We learned alot about these types of roofs and would recommend people use this company as they bend under each edge of the sheets leaving a finished edge. Thank you J, Donny, Don , and Russell for the excellent work you do!
