  I had a very disappointing experience with Advance Level Roofing. First, the company started the roofing work without obtaining my permission and started despite rainy weather conditions. Second, during the sales process, I was told that the company had its own professional roofing crew. However, the work was ultimately completed by a third-party contractor. Had I known this from the beginning, I would have appreciated that being disclosed upfront so I could make a fully informed decision. Third, after the installation, one of their inspectors came to my property and informed me that certain parts of the roof had been installed improperly and would need to be corrected. Later, the coordinator and owner, Cody, told me that the inspector had left the company and that his assessment was incorrect because there was supposedly nothing wrong with the roof. Cody also stated that someone had already come to fix the issues. However, my security camera footage shows that no one ever came to my property. The explanations I received were inconsistent and contradictory. Fourth, the roof leaked immediately after the next rainfall, causing water damage to the ceiling and paint in my master bedroom. Finally, the company did not clean the gutters as promised, and the downspout was installed incorrectly. As a result, rainwater is directed toward my window and splashes against it whenever it rains. What was especially frustrating was being criticized for my attitude when I raised these concerns. Any homeowner who experienced work being started without permission, conflicting explanations about deficiencies and repairs, a leaking roof immediately after installation, and resulting damage inside their home would understandably be upset. After so many issues, I would have expected accountability and solutions rather than criticism of my reaction to the situation.   Terrible ignorant unprofessional company. Our shingles installed on the rotten decking which collapsed less than 2 years.. They refused to fix that negligence stating everything was installed properly .Just see pictures...We will sue them...

  I am completely disappointed in this company. Our roof was done last Monday and I immediately wasn’t happy when I saw that there was metal pieces on the roof. We chose a black roof and now all you can see is the metal pieces sticking out. The sales person was nice, however failed to tell us that the metal pieces in between in the peaks and valleys would be visible and ruin the look of the house. Not even a full description or photos of what the finished product would look like. Because I would have noticed the metal pieces and I would never gone with this company. I even texted the sales person that night and no response. However the text was read. When I emailed, I didn’t even get an apology. It was a “it is what it is” situation. Not even how can we fix this after you spent $10,000 on a new roof. I’m not happy, I will gladly tell everyone .

  Hello Meagen, as per our discussion and also as per the marketing materials your were provided, we install open face black metal valley's on all of our projects, this ensures the longevity of your roof and is a significant upgrade to your roofing system. it also follows the manufacturers instalation standards of the materials. We understand you are not a fan of the valleys, however, it is unfortunate you decided to post photos of the last light glare, and not show what your roof looks like in the daylight as the valley are black which match quite well with your roofing colour. Your roof was done quickly, efficiently, and to manufacturers standards our clean up was done well, and our price was what we promised. I am quite disappointed to see a 1 star google review over a common roofing installation practice. Hopefully someday you change your mind with the review, but if not we understand and wish you the best!

  My work was through an insurance claim. They were poorly organized and I had no communication unless I called them. My work was supposed to be done in April/May and it didn’t get done until the end of November. It was so frustrating. They also didn’t end up doing the work, they subcontracted it out to someone else. I will never use them again if I can help it. I don’t recommend using them for any metal roofs.

  Hello Joelene, as discussed working with the insurance company we are required to take on the full scope of repairs even if we do not do the work ourselves. We are not equipped for metal roofing in Manitoba and we were required to use a third party for the repairs, there were major issues the delivery of the materials which caused significant time delays, we apologies this happened and agree it could have been smoother. The initial timeline was for a September install and it was pushed to November due to material shortages, this is unfortunately out of our control and although we understand it was frustrating as an experience, we did get it done and do a good job for you once things arrived. Again we apologies and appreciate the feedback, we hope you enjoy your new roof and metals.

  Let's start off with saying if there was a 0 star I would've selected that. From day one of tearing off the old shingles to today this whole experience has been an absolute nightmare... I wish I had never met anyone from this company !!! They destroyed my house and to this day (over 2 years later) my roof is still leaking. Now, the back story... The tear out crew damaged eave's, facia and down spouts, ripped out flashing and left an absolute mess (there is still materials sitting beside my house). Where the flashing was ripped out, they did NOT replace instead they used 10 tubes of caulking (I know this as that is what the worker told me), when it leaked again, they came back and smeared roofing tar all over the area. Oh, did I mention they broke stucco off the house and knocked some stone work off ? When I asked about this they said it was all part of it and not their responsibility. Oh, and here's another good one... It's 50% down for the job with balance due at the completion. Well, I wasn't paying the balance till the roof was repaired and wasn't leaking, I think that was an ok thing to do and they even agreed. Well... After almost 2 years of going back and forth they sent my remaining bill to collections. I was so mad I couldn't believe it !!! I called right away. We agreed on final payment, I paid it (man I regret doing that) and now my roof is still leaking and now the water is causing my stucco to crack. Do yourself a favor and don't believe anything these guys say or promise !!! Workmanship and customer service is absolutely terrible !!! I had agreed to stay off Google review, social media and BBB but after over 2 years I am letting everyone know what this company is really like !!! Stay away !!!! You will thank me !!!! *I'll add a couple pics for your pleasure, check out the amazing water tunnel they made... Top quality work !!! I have pics of it all.

  Don't sign the contract without reading it thoroughly! Completely different from what we talked and discussed about! Don't be a victim like me and my friend, who endorsed me to this roofing company!

  After the hail damage you hope that the company that you get to do the work is up to the task. As it turned out Amir (project manager) and his team where very much up to the task. High marks for being there with info (text, calls and emails). Things went seamlessly. From the shingles to the eaves trough. The workers did a great job. And also spent the time to make sure they cleaned up. Hats of to Amir and his team. Not an easy job. But much appreciated. Thanks Wayne

  Amir was super easy to communicate with, and did they and the team did a great job. They were proactive in reaching out to me to check when there were decisions to make, and the inspection pictures were a great way to see the end result without having to go to the roof myself.

  Right from my first contact with Amir about my need I was serviced with concern and professionalism. I was regularly updated and the skylight installation was authenticated with video and follow up, this was reassuring. My next door neighbor saw the service since he is concerned about his skylight and has had his roof replaced by Advanced level. The workmen left an excellent impression on him. I'm sure he will be in contact. Professionalism throughout. Thanks again

  Very professional salesperson. He explained the estimate and cost breakdown in full detail. Work crew completed the roof in less time than originally expected. They even worked a longer day in hot conditions to finish the job due to forecasted rain. They were a very polite and friendly crew. I highly recommend this company.
