Oak Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Oak Roofing.

• 1 out of 5Anthony Pastuea year ago

I had 5 estimates done on my roof. Oak was the cheapest by a few hundred dollars. But I noticed in the fine print " not responsible for damages they may result to customers property" I thought that was peculiar, so I called and asked if what I was reading was correct. And I was told I was reading it correctly. So I threw out a hypothetical situation. If a workers nail gun should slide off the roof and take out my $5000.00 air conditioner then that expense is my problem? I was told "Yes". and was told I would have to trust them. I told him " trust is a really big word and a word that he don't seem to understand". I then expressed I have concerns about that and will have to pass. Then he had the audacity to call me a couple days later to want to schedule the job. I told him we were done here and don't call me again. Beware of this schiester. I highly recommend Jim Swift Roofing read my review!!!

⬆️ If you are taking the time to read this ridiculous review, please take the time to read this response. ⬆️  First off there is no chance what's so ever that I said if we damaged your property with a nail gun falling off the roof that is on you. That is a straight up lie. Saying I had the audacity to call him is ridiculous. I called him because I am an entrepreneur and business person, I asked him if he was thinking about using us. But he has the audacity. To write a 1-star review on a company he did not use ..... HE DID NOT USE MY COMPANY TO DO HIS ROOF...That's truly the authenticity of audacity. I'm writing back to defend my company against a guy that is a bully clearly. Disregarding my company because he didn't like the wording in my contract, and I'm okay with that, but to write a 1-star review based on that and not the performance of my company is completely wrong. He called us, asked us for an estimate, I set that up, then drove to his house, climbed on his roof measured, made all necessary notes in case he used us... all for free. If he used someone else, that’s OK. But to write a review he should have done his research and read the reviews. Clearly, he did not. Look at our 124 google reviews a 123of them are 5-star reviews. There's 1 4 star with not comment. I am going to defend our company to the end of time, without question, I feel like we are the one of the best companies in the business and we handle things in the most professional way. The fact that someone is allowed to go on here and write a negative review that never used us, is not right. Unfortunately, on google, anybody can go on and write a review. I'm asking you Anthony Pasture 26669 Fairfield, Warren MI 48089 to remove this negative review that you have written because you didn't like the wording in our contract that you never signed. I guarantee if you would have used our company. You would be another 5-star review for us without question.  When we talked and you asked me about the wo

I recently had Oak Roofing install a new roof in my home in Huntington Woods. The initial sales call with Bryan was professional, thorough, and timely without being pushy. Once we gave the “go ahead” with the job we only had to wait a few …

Contacted the company because of neighbors recommendations. Didn't feel pressured when getting an estimate, and felt comfortable with the company rep. They were here early in the morning and had the job done by early afternoon. Totally pleased with the quality of the work and the professional and friendly attitudes of the workers.

Crew completed entire installation in one day even working thru a rain storm that came thru. After completion the entire crew cleaned up the area and removed all nails with magnets.

I hired Oak Roofing to re-shingle, repair any decking issues, and install gutter-guards on my home in April of 2026. Oak Roofing was recommended to me by a good friend who had his home re-roofed and was very satisfied with the job they did. I spoke with one of the owners, John, on the phone about the monetary details after his brother, Mike, came to my home for the estimation process. They provide a brochure which detailed the process with a complete description of the products which they had. They provided a list of over a hundred satisfied customers. They scheduled the project for about 2-3 weeks out, and on the day which the project was to start, their crew of 12 workers showed up early in the morning and 100% finished the job by late afternoon. The finished project was completed with no details left undone - I say this because I got up on the roof the next day to check out their work. The finished product was very well done - no bad cuts on any shingles, the flashing was completely sealed around the chimney, and the gutter-guards were installed perfectly. The crew did a great clean-up, and except for the beautiful new roof, you couldn't even tell that a 12 person crew had ever been there - not a speck of trash. The other good news was that Oak Roofing is a Veteran friendly company, so the discount was a bonus - every little bit helps these days. To conclude - Mike and John are true gentleman with a highly efficient crew. Great job, Oak Roofing!! M. Reynolds Royal Oak

I interviewed 5 roofing companies, local to national, not only were they the best price, but when they came out to give me a quote they took their time to explain exactly what I needed, also what work was going to be done, they came and finished in one day and the work was perfect. The clean up crew was outstanding, no trash left behind, I would highly recommend them to friends looking for a new roof , and I have.

Oak did a great job on my roof. They had a 2-layer tear off and new roof on in less than 4 hours. The foreman communicated well through the entirety of the job. Their quote was one of the better ones I had and they stuck to it. Very fair price for outstanding work. Highly recommended.

The crew was early and had the roof completed and cleaned up before 5pm. These shingles standout and people take notice. The roof is beautiful. Jean Claude and Mike are a pleasure to work with and give a fair and detailed quote. This is the second roof from Oak Roofing in our family.
