  Been receiving mailings from Mills Roofing ever since a hailstorm came through our area in March. Over a dozen homes on our street had their roofs replaced. Noticed Mills signs in several yards. A few weeks ago I called for an inspection. Got answering service, I assume, and left my information. Started getting emails from company, but going on 3 weeks and still nobody has reached out to me. Not sure if this Mills organization is the actual folks who work on your roof or just a marketing company that hires subs to slap some shingles on. Based on my experience so far, seems like they’re more interested in marketing and less in delivering service.

  Ended up with a roof after a storm came through. Since I was going to have a roof off I asked to address insulation at that time. The salesman said that we could do that but with forgot or chose not to. The roof was off and on before I could even bring it back up. Additionally, they changed the ventilation style of my roof which caused a significant heat buildup in my attic causing hot walls. This took almost one year to address. Overall, the shingles are fine but the customer service and sales side were not good. They did not seem to care what I had to say.

  Avoid if you want a thorough inspection I called for an estimate after finding spongy siding near my roofline and a musty odor in a closet. While scheduling was easy and they offered a same-day appointment, the actual visit was a waste of time. The technician refused to look in the attic, claiming he could see everything from the exterior. Despite the obvious moisture, he insisted that since the roof was under five years old, it "couldn't be the roof." He blamed "ventilation" for the wet siding but couldn't explain why it was only happening in one specific area. He eventually told me to call another company—which is exactly what I’ll be doing. Don't waste your time here if you have a complex issue.

  My roof had hail damage and Mills came out, inspected the roof and helped with the insurance claim process. Once insurance approved my roof repair, they started on time and finished quickly. The staff was friendly, including the installers and the area outside was cleaned when they left. I had a very good overall experience and would recommend Mills Siding and Roofing if you need a new or replacement roof.
