  We called Nick’s for a quote on flashing/tarring our chimney which was leaking. The quote seemed reasonable, but when we called to schedule the service, we got no response. We left messages indicating we wanted to schedule tarring the chimney (as we had had our water heater go out and need replacing in the days after Nick had come out.) We got no response (like so many others). Then, out of the blue, Nick showed up saying he was there to do the chimney. I was frustrated as there had been no call and while I was home I was working from home due to the COVID closures. I told Nick he could do the work and reiterated that we wanted the roof tarred. He asked if we were sure and I said yes and that we had had an unexpected expense that meant we couldn’t do the flashing and had to opt for the lower cost tarring. He seemed hesitant to do it and said it “wouldn’t look as good.” I said again that we wanted it tarred and he continued to say that wouldn’t look good. This was after he asked me what he had quoted for each service and after I expressed my frustration with the lack of response to the multiple messages and the just showing up at my house. I finally told him to just forget it because I wasn’t about to pay someone to do work they clearly did not want to do. After reading all the reviews, I can’t help but feel like we dodged some kind of bullet here, even as frustrating as the experience was.

  At first response, they were good and quick, was going to let them do what ever needed to fix my roof leak, since the first visit, no return phone calls, no replies, doesn't seem in in helping a customer.

  Spoke to someone there and they said they'd go out to inspect a roof on a property. Not only did they never show up, when I called back the next day to see what happened I got their voicemail. Still haven't heard back from them. If they didn't want the job all they had to do was say so. I've always heard good things about them, but can't say I'd recommend them now and won't be calling them again in the future.

  Nick’s is the only contractor we will ever call for roofing. He was outstanding to work with. Fair pricing, good selection of shingles, on-time schedule. We could not be happier with the results.   Excellent work and clean up! Signed the contract with Nick on a Thursday for a new roof on our two-story home. Nick's crew came out that following Monday at 8:00 A.M. and finished at about noon. Extremely happy with the service and new roof!

  My landlord was been working with this company to try to initially fix the leaking roof, which eventually led to a complete tear off. The guys arrived at 7am, and got straight to work. Besides the normal scraping and banging, professionalism was highly observed. I have a special needs boy and they really made an effort to not make extra noise. I was also pleased to see that they were cleaning up as they went. Thank you guys!

  We went with these guys after getting scammed by another roofing company a few months ago. Nick's did an awesome job fixing their mistakes and went above our expectations. Well worth the money we paid for the piece of mind.

  I recently had Nick's Roofing come out to replace my roof from hail damage. I spoke to Nick personally on many occasions, and he was the most knowledgable, experienced, and honest contractor that I had spoken to. His price was very fair and he even replaced a damaged downspout of mine for free. His crew was also very knowledgable and clean. They were in and out in one day and left no mess, you wouldn't even know they were there. I would highly recommend Nick's Roofing and will be using them in the future!

  Nick, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. Best estimate out of four roofing companies in the area and he was able to get the job done 4 days later, a day earlier than he originally said they could start the work. Him and his team did a complete tear off and re-shingle in 8 hours, very quick! Nick also pointed out some issues with the existing roof and made the necessary changes so I would not have problems in the future. His team worked fast, and cleaned up as if they were not even there! Very satisfied with the craftsmanship and professionalism from Nick's Roofing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing contractor in the Kenosha area!

  Nicks was a very professional organization. The quality of the materials used, the craftsmanship of the installation team, the thoroughness of the installation team, and the cleanliness of the job site when finished was the best I have ever seen. They did a two roof tear off, replaced roof deck boards, installed ice barrier and complete roof under protection before installing the new roof. When finished it was as if they were never there. The grounds were thoroughly clean, etc. We are very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services. Tom Stevens - Kenosha

  What's highly impressed. His group showed up 1st thing in the morning by 8 o'clock they are on the roof ripped all the singles out and had a completely Re roofed and clean up before 2 o'clock. No surprise total it was exactly what the estimate was. In fact something I did not notice when I checked out the house that Nick pointed out that one of his guys damaged a piece of the siding and that it will be replaced later on next week. Overall if or when I have to get my Roof redone again I will definitely be calling him back
