  "Grateful" is not a typical word I'd use for a online review because, after all, it's all a transaction of services rendered and payments made -- but I can't think of a better word to express my experience with MJ's for the whole process of home repairs and restoration after our home's roof leaked during the February snow storm. Huge shout out to Bill and Cam who spent countless hours at my house, and over the phone with the insurance company. This went on for months on end, which is a statement about the nickeling-and-diming strategy that my insurance company decided to do with our claim. The team at MJ's fought hard for us, made sure we were updated throughout the process, and were available for questions any time, any day. In the end, we couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work -- and yeah, we're very grateful. Bill, Cam, and everyone at MJ's have a standing invitation to dinner at our house. You won't go wrong with these good folks! They have our business for years to come.

  If anyone is looking for someone for gutter repair/replacement, I highly recommend MJ's Roofing & Remodeling. We just had the gutters replaced at our family homeplace and they did an excellent job. We, my sister and I, googled gutter contractors. MJ's was one of three that we contacted and received quotes from. Scheduling the initial appointment via phone was very easy and pleasant and when I met John at the house, I didn't feel I was meeting a stranger. We had great brief conversation about the house. Then he assessed, measured and took pictures of the gutters and within 30-45 minutes, he was done. Because our facia was covered in an aluminum wrap, John was sure to explain that a quote could not be given on unseen damage. My sister and I were well aware that there was some damage but did not know the extent. So my quote would be for the gutters but John did tell me the cost per foot if wood had to be replaced. Understood. I received my quote within the time frame promised. After having received all the other quotes which were comparable, I selected MJ's Roofing because I was really comfortable and at ease with John, was pleased that he was forthcoming and honest about damage repair cost and I had a good feeling that he would do the best job for us. The job was scheduled within a week after I signed the contract and paid the deposit. Unfortunately we had much more damage than we had expected. I decided to stop by the house the day the gutters were being replaced. Good that I did. The worker had just completed pulling the old gutters off and that revealed damage as well as improperly done work from years past that contributed to our current damage. Thus our cost increased significantly because the damage had to be repaired and corrections had to be made. I must say John and Bill were fantastic working with us to manage the additional cost and we appreciate it immensely. What was to be done within half a day ended up being a two day job and we had to be worked in a
