  Gold medal roofing stopped by my house and was super pushy about filing a claim with my insurance for the recent storms that rolled through. It’s a shame that in a time where I am worried about my home and my family the only thing they can think of is manipulating me.

  Gold medal roofing came to my house saying I had damage and I wasn’t even in the storm trying to pressure me into filing a claim they never even got on my roof. NEIGHBORS BEWARE

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. GOLD METAL ROOFING told me they can completely wave my deductible which I understand is illegal. I have contacted my insurance company and have expressed that they are doing this for homeowners in my area.

  Yes- that’s correct- only 1 star - if it would let me post with zero I would have. For wrongly charging my friend when work was never done. For wrongly accusing the client of accrued fees due to material costs, when the client hasn’t even picked out which roof color/style/etc that they wanted. For quoting only 1/2 a roof instead of the full roof. This company cannot be trusted and will take your money without work even being done. If you want me to remove this review, then Gold Metal Roofing- you need to give back the deposit to my friend and they are not paying you anything with your horrible service.

  I'll share the truth behind these allegations. 1. Claim filed with insurance 6/2/24 after inspection by Brandon Perry 2. Inspection performed by AAA 6/13/24 3. AAA paid for 1/2 of the roof insurance estimate created 6/15/24 4. Gold Medal Roofing hired a 3rd party supplement company along side of Mr. Perry to get entire roof paid for 6/22/24 5. Perry removed a shingle and sent to Itel a 3rd party shingle analyzing company proving it was discontinued, report finding were uploaded by Perry on 6/30/24 6. AAA was non responsive until 8/27/24 7. 8/27/24 Mr Campau and Mr. Perry sent photos for 3rd party supplement company for review that roof has 2 layers of shingles 8. 9/20/24 an updated insurance estimate was sent to Ms. Irons with a full insurance approval 9. Perry received information from Ms. Irons of additional estimate details and additional check from insurance for $2880.88 10. Updated estimate uploaded 10/8/24 11. 10/15/24 job posted to our install board, scheduled for 10/31/24 12. 10/22/24 Ms. Irons requesting putting a stop to the job 13. 10/23/24 GMR withdrew the job from the install schedule 14. Ms. Irons cancelled roof: Homeowner called the main line extremely upset. Stated that she was lied to that the entire roof was approved. I tried to calm the situation down and clarify that we did work with the insurance and were able to get the entire roof approved. She wanted a new contract because of the large amount change and was told she did not need one and wasn't happy about that. She stated her roof was rescheduled 3 times for only half of the roof when she was told full roof was getting done. She is upset that the roof was schedule after she said that she didn't want the roof anymore. She is not happy with how this entire experience and feels like we have been dishonest with her from the beginning and wants her money back and not do the roof.   Showed up at my door and wanted to file a claim for hail damage. Said should not have a problem getting it claimed through insurance. I let them proceed but was pretty much denied from insurance. Was told that they were going to get a re-inspection because I had a lot of hail damage. Was told that a team lead would be in touch. Left a couple messages with the contact I had but never received a call back. If you see them find someone else to take care of your claim. If its something where they have to do a little more work with insurance they seem to drop you and move on.

  I had a new roof installed yesterday. The whole process was taken care of in a very timely manner! Dylan Ledin the salesman was a wonderful person to deal with through the whole process! The crew that was here was very good! They left my place looking like before they came other than now I have a great looking roof!

  We have had a great experience with Gold Medal Roofing. Jensen Wismar was excellent to work with and was a great help working with my insurance company and it felt like I was working with a friend rather than a contractor. The crew was top notch working sun up to sun down doing a complete tear off and application of new roof on both my house and barn in one day. They left the site clean as well.   Both Jerry and Miguel are great to work with. They are honest and hold true to their work. They follow through with their promises. The team showed up at 7:30am for a full tear off and replacement of my roof. They installed the new roof and two skylights and cleaned up by 2pm that day. I highly recommend them!
