  WOULD NOT RECOMMEND They did a new roof and not happy. Cut corners and made excuses why it's that way. Still haven't came out and fixed or resolved my issue. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Edit ** I have shingles already coming off my 6 Month roof ** WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

  First, we don't cut corners. Secondly we have no records of having done a roof for a John Wayne or anyone with the last name of Wayne. If you have a legitimate complaint please call Jeremiah at 616-520-3820 and we will see what can be done to resolve any legitimate issue.

  I called to get a price for a new roof and gutters over a week ago! The sales person never called me back ! Other companies set up appointments on the spot! I guess the just didn’t need my business!

We're sure that you have heard of our excellent reputation and that is why you were hoping to work with us. We do still urge you to choose Melvin Belk Roofing as the company to take care of you and your family's home for a number of reasons: 1. We are a family-owned company and that means more personalized care for you and your home, more trust that we will be in business for years to come, and because no one will care for your lawn the way that we do. 2. We have a "Clean-up Refinement Crew" that follows up on each home after the roofing crew has already cleaned up. We understand that the clean-up job is just as important as the roof itself. That is why we have a woman lead crew (We all know women have a better eye for detail) to refine the clean-up of each home. 3. We give a 10 year warranty on our labor and in the event that something goes wrong (as sometimes happens when dealing with waterproofing) and you need us to come back, we will return to assess and repair with in 48 hours. We wish we could have impressed you right from the start, but we will gladly work hard to earn back your 5-star rating.

  Had some hail damage and decided to get someone out to inspect the roof/house. Melvin Belk was the second company we had come out and I'm SO GLAD that we did. Nick went over all the obvious (and not so obvious) hail damage to the roof, gutters, and siding and he showed me pictures from all over the roof and around the house. He helped navigate the whole insurance headache and even made it a point to be here when the insurance adjuster came to be sure he actually got on the roof and did a proper inspection. Even after we got insurance approval for a new roof, Nick was there to help with every step and answered every endless question I had (sorry Nick). I am so grateful to have found a company and a rep that truly has their customers' best interest at heart. Our new roof is gorgeous and our siding is fixed. They even added support to a structure that was unsafe! I am truly blown away by this company. I highly recommend them for any project you need them for.

  Wonderful experience. New roof was completed a few weeks ago. It looks amazing. Everyone was so great to work with and even did a very thorough job with clean up! Nick was wonderful every step of the way and we could not have asked for anything more! He was very responsive and so kind every time I reached out to him with questions and advice.

  We had a large hail storm pass through our neighborhood recently causing structural damage to the houses around us. Had Nick from Melvinbelk Roofing come by for an assessment since we had siding peeling away: he was on time and extremely knowledgeable and transparent, talked with him for a bit. He popped in the loose siding free of charge and gave us the thumbs up on our roof condition. I really appreciated his expertise

  Everybody was great to work with. Andrew came out a few times last minute as my roof was leaking. He provided me a reasonable estimate and we were able to schedule right away. The work crew came on time and completed quickly and I have had no issues or leaks since. I will be using this company again for roofing in the future.
