  This place was a nightmare. Do not recommend. We had to initiate all contact, they were drinking while they worked, they left dirty footprints on the siding, then hung it, they promised 2-3 days, 4 at most and we are on week 3 (Friday of the week before last, last week, still waiting on clean up this week). They did not clean up after themselves and are now not responding (the owner called after the review was posted). They did not pull permits for the work, despite being in the contract. They cut the ground wire to our house. They left for the weekend with live wires and holes in our house completely exposed with rain forecasted for the weekend so we had to cover everything ourselves. They blew a circuit in our garage when they decided to work on live wires in the rain. They could have burned our entire house down if we weren't more careful. Completely awful.

Below we have listed the account operations detailing our efforts to communicate and get the job done as contracted. 10/4/2024 - Contract was signed for full siding replacement 10/15/2024 - Customer was notified that we are up to a few weeks out from starting as we wait for supplier to confirm materials are in and we work through ongoing siding projects. At this time it was verified with the city of Marshall that they do not require a building permit to be submitted for tearing off and replacing siding. 11/6/2024 - Customer called to ask for an update on timeline and told by office staff we will check on it and get an update. 11/7/2024 - Customer was Contacted by Armored and updated that we could start the following day. 11/9/2024 (Sat) - Customer reached out with concerns about the project progress and state of job site not during business hours yet we received the message and contacted the customer same day. 11/11/2024 - Concerns were addressed Monday 9:20 AM and site manager was sent to property to assess concerns and address with siding crew. 11/13/2024- Armored reached out to check in on the resolutions and confirmed we would have someone back on site to do final clean up and reattach light post to reach customer's satisfaction. 11/18/2024 - Owner reached out directly to once again address concerns and make sure a resolution was in place. 11/19/2024 - Owner and site manager met at the property to ensure everything was resolved and final clean up was done as planned. (From Owner) The crew wasn’t drinking on the job like we had discussed. This was from a previous job (my house) where I allowed the crew to enjoy a celebration of completing a very tough job. This was the leftover that was never thrown away and they were reprimanded for leaving it there which caused this misunderstanding. This review was posted before the final walk through was completed, which happens with every project that we take

We wanted to confirm the details of this account so we can try to resolve this for you and make others aware. 6/21- Inquiry form was filled out via Armoredroofs.com 6/22- We reached out to ask some more questions about the proposed project 6/22- Jesse answered those questions and asked if this is something we could do 6/23- Jesse asked again as we had not gotten back to him yet due to our efforts to gather resources toward a resolution 6/23- Jesse was informed perhaps it was best to search for another contractor as we could tell he would likely want this taken care of in a timely fashion, and with our current schedule we knew it would take longer than we'd like for us to complete. 6/24- We attempted to reach out again via email to get a phone number for Jesse and talk through this with him as it was not our intent to cause any dismay. Jesse, we still hope to connect and discuss what we can do for you if Armored Roofing is your desired contractor we are always willing to find a solution if/when we can connect on a more personal level.   Great job all around! Received a quick response from Rick who came to the house to give an estimate. Then they had a cancelation and was able to tear off existing roof including a "flat" roof a few days later! All finished in 1 day. They also repaired the "valleys" near the garage too where we had some rotting wood. Had great customer service with Tammy in the office, as well as Adam. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at replacing a roof!

  The work was timely and professional. The crew did a great job in very difficult conditions due to the hot humid weather. The crew was also very conscientious in their clean up. I would highly recommend Armored Roofing & Construction.

  I've had a great experience with Armored! Their sales person Randy was great to work with for negotiating an excellent price and quality products. Adam the operations manager was a great resource for asking questions, scheduling, and working through the project, and the team they sent was fast, efficient, friendly and thorough. My roof was done in less than a day!! They did a great job cleaning up around my house and protecting my garden beds! The roof looks great! I couldn't be more happy!!   I had a great experience with Armored Roofing and Construction in Byron Center. Rick came out after a couple of storms to assess my roof, and I couldn’t have asked for a better interaction. He was incredibly nice, personable, and took the time to thoroughly look everything over. What stood out most was his honesty—he let me know that no work was needed.   Rick came out quickly, gave me a fair price, and had Adam call me the following day to schedule. From the storm to a new roof was nine days; that is phenomenal. Rick, Adam and the crew did a fantastic job in and out one day.
