They took a week to estimate my house, looked at it without even talking to me in person or on the phone (didn't even knock on the door when here) and then declined the job via email. Strange way to do business. I guess the job was too small (minor repairs/maintenance work), but still couldn't hurt to have a chat with the owner for which you are estimating? I guess they only want complete roof replacement type jobs.

Hi Ben and I'm sorry, but theres no parking on your street for a truck and trailer. I also couldn't give you an estimate for the work you wanted if a can't park anywhere near your house. I politely request you remove your review as we never met or did business together.

Wouldn't deal with Darren and the company again. Kinda rude.

Hi Henry. Sorry you feel that way. I thought you would be thrilled to find out that there was no leak in your roof. We even offered to provide a complementary service call even though we weren't the company that installed the roof. If you happen to have a leak in the future, please don't hesitate to ask.

Had Darren from McMartin redo my roof. He communicates quickly and effectively. He knows what he is doing- it's obvious he has installed and repaired hundreds of roofs. He gave me a realistic opinion of what I should consider doing when he gave me an estimate (which he made up very fast). He has straightforward and reasonable pricing. Then he worked hard and worked fast, doing an awesome job. Really when it comes down to it, Darren is a good guy who is great at his job. Sometimes there are jobs you need to get someone reliable to do, not just some cheap rando off marketplace. Can't recommend McMartin enough. Thanks again Darren.

We contacted McMartin Roofing for a skylight replacement after another company gave us the runaround. We needed the skylight replaced in the next few days. Darren was quick to come check out the existing skylight and provide a quote. What we thought was a standard size (as we were told by the other company), was actually slightly different and not quite as easy a fix as we were hoping. Darren provided us with a couple of different options at reasonable prices and was even able to accommodate the replacement the following day. We're extremely happy with the service we received and would highly recommend McMartin Roofing.

Thanks to Darren, we could not be more pleased with our new roof. Conscientious, professional and friendly I would highly recommend McMartin Roofing if you want a quality roof.

Thanks Harvey. Your new roof and gutters look GREAT! I heard you guys just painted the siding. I'll have to come by and get some pictures for my portfolio!

Built-in rubber gutters can be great! They can be modified to be deaper, sloped to the drains, and it's easy to increase the drain size. This customer got all the bells and whistles, and we even fully glued down the rubber so it never shrinks.Apr 28, 2026
