  I shouldn't have to chase someone down to give them my money! We have a roof leak in Mission BC and I never had to deal with something like this before. I asked my colleagues who to call and someone mentioned that Whonnock Roofing had good reviews. I called them last Thursday morning (4 days ago) - I waited until after 9am to make sure they were open (based on the hours on their website) and talked to a woman who seemed like she was with an answering service. She took down my name and number and said she would get someone to reach out to me. Isabel called me approximately 1.5 hours later to confirm my info and said that an estimator will contact me. By the end of the work day at 4pm I still hadn't heard anything so I called Isabel again. She assured me that their estimator would be in touch by tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday at the latest. She even assured me by saying that they should be able to get us fixed up right away because they focus of roof repairs during the terrible weather instead of whole roofing jobs. Today is Monday (4 days later) and I still haven't been contacted. I gave up at this point and went with a different company. Obviously, getting new customers isn't their priority.

  Well this is such an unfortunate review…. So many half-truths. I really hate to respond but have no choice but to protect our good name and character. I was waiting to respond, hoping that Gina would realize how many extras we had done, and do the right thing and remove it on her own. Yes, we had to go back and do a few touch ups. What is left out is the fact that the second there was a question or concern we responded instantly and had a tech back on site to go over her concerns within one hour. Gina also does not mention the free tree trimming we did for her or the rotten sheeting we replaced at no cost. At her request, we took a tree trimmer and trimmed back many branches overhanging her roof and immediate surrounding area. We also replaced 64sqft of rotten sheathing which would have added an additional $316.80 to the bill. We did BOTH of these things, and did not charge for it, to make up for the concerns she had shared with us. Here is an direct text message she sent at 10:51pm to one of the owners (not sure it’s proper to text people this late but regardless it was a positive text) this was in regards to a fascia board that needed a few extra nails in it. From Gina: “He acknowledged he had received critical feedback from employers he valued. He apologized. He also said things like “it’s on me” “It’s my work” “I can do better than that” “I’ll fix it” He shared with me how he was going to do so. Incidentally although it was likely after a very long day and having likely received some pointed feedback he was so good natured in his feedback to me. Again impressive. I communicated this to him as well as my intention to relay to you.” Also, besides texting at all hours of the night and early Sunday mornings when it came time to pay, she tried to delay payment by 30 days. Getting her to read the payment agreement on contract and pay was not an easy task. We stayed patient and professional throughout the whole process and did everything we could to make her happy

  I had this company do my roof a year ago I do not recommend them whatsoever. It has leaked twice since then and I had to call another company due to lack of response from the owners . I found them very unprofessional when I tried to complain they were aggressive and made me feel as if I was unsafe .

  Hi Dave, if that’s who you really are!🤣 We have never done work for you. We have no estimate, no invoice, or paperwork of any kind with your name on it. If I’m wrong, then please provide verifiable proof and I will offer a public apology... I won’t hold my breath! We also ALWAYS return every single call, never mind a leak from a prior customer; which is a rarity since we believe that we are the best in the business. We also offer an industry high standard 10yr guarantee on all workmanship. In fact, if you ask around, we’ve repaired our roofs that are 11-12 yrs old (and out of warranty) for free before because we aren’t all about the money. We believe in community and family and try to show others that whenever we can! We also know that good customer will sing our praises to others. When you are business for 42yrs, like we are, you learn those types of things. Thank you for the negative review, I really mean that, as it offers us a chance to explain to potential customers how hard we try to go above and beyond. It also gives us a chance to expose our competitors or their friends (you surely are one of the two) from trying to hurt our hard earned and great reputation. Cheers

  Exceptional pricing, quality and service. Every person in this company that we interacted with was professional and knowledgeable. Only about 14 days from the day we signed the contract to the new roof on the house. The roofers were respectful and experienced (over 20 years with this company) They also had a fantastic playlist. The roof looks great! Highly recommend.

  I'm very happy with Whonnock Roofing! I expected to wait until after the long weekend since Google said they were closed until Tuesday, but Abraham replied to my text right away, even while he was off, and arranged for Richard to come that same day. Richard was friendly, easy to talk to, and took the time to reassure me that he would check everything thoroughly so I didn't have to worry. He fixed everything that needed attention and made the whole experience stress-free. I really appreciate the quick response, great communication, and excellent service. It's reassuring to know that if I ever have a roofing issue, it will be handled quickly and professionally. Thank you, Abraham and Richard!

  We recently had a new roof installed by Whonnock Roofing, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Interestingly, we first heard about Whonnock Roofing from a contractor who was at our home for an unrelated service. During our conversation, we mentioned that we had recently moved into our new home and were making several improvements, including replacing the roof. Without hesitation, he recommended Whonnock Roofing. What impressed us most was how highly he spoke of their post-installation customer service, in addition to the quality of their roofing installations. His recommendation prompted us to visit their website, and after doing our research, we decided to give them a call. From first meeting, we knew we were dealing with professionals. There was no high-pressure sales pitch or exaggerated claims, just an honest assessment of the work required. We already had a good idea of what a quality roof should cost, and their estimate was exactly in line with our expectations. We chose the premium asphalt shingles in Hickory, and the finished roof looks classy and sophisticated. We feel confident it will protect our home for many years to come. There were no surprises with the installation. The project was completed as discussed, with no unexpected costs or additions to the final invoice. The roofing crew was exceptional, friendly, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. They arrived at 7:00 a.m. each day, and many worked well into the evening to keep the project on schedule. From what we can see, the finished roof looks excellent, and we are extremely pleased with the final result. One detail that truly stood out was the care the crew took to clean the job site at the end of each day. They ensured that every piece of debris was removed and left our property looking as neat as it had before they arrived. This attention to detail did not go unnoticed.   Rich and his crew did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were detail oriented, safety conscious and worked efficiently throughout the entire project.   Excellent staff & service! Extremely happy with my interaction with all the staff & crew at Whonnock Roofing. Needed my residential roof replace. I was provided with a professional, detailed quote with several options. The job was projected to be done weeks away in a busy season but they fit me in quickly.   We had our roof replaced by Whonnock Roofing this week. Our roof is quite large but Mike and his team (7 in all) finished the roof in one day. They were all pleasant, helpful and cleaned up our property after they were done. Whonnock was excellent to deal with from a communication perspective and responsiveness. The quote was clearly communicated and Abraham was quick to answer any questions we had. I would happily recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job!
