I hired MB Roofing in April 2025 for a roof replacement. The work never started despite repeated promised start dates, and my refund request has gone unanswered. I have since had to take legal action to try to recover my deposit.

Hire him to replace my roof and gutter. It took him 6 month to do my roof. It has been over 9 months now, I am still waiting for him to come to do my gutter. I call him and text him, no answer and no reply. He hire third party to do my roof, they completed in one day. He only show up to drop off some plywood and collect payment. He didn't inspect their work, and side of the home has water leak during a heavy storm. He did came out to fix the next day. When he do answer a text, he will always say he is one man show. It has been over 9 month from the date we sign the contract, don't you think this is a very long time. He told me couple of times that he is coming next week to do my gutter, but he have not show up Overall, This is a very bad craftsmanship and bad communication. I am ready to report him to the PA Consumer Protection Agency.

So after less than a year of getting repairs, roof was leaking in the same spot when I paid him to do repair work on top of a silver coat. When all he did was a silver coat only. Wound up having someone else come out and go over his work. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Do more research

It started out ok. Matt came to the house, seemed professional and knowledgeable about the roof repair that I needed. It took a few weeks for him to start the work. I went to write the check and realized that he didn’t install the chimney cap. He said he would be back on Monday at 8 am. I said, ok, and reluctantly wrote the check for the full amount for the job. That was a month ago and he never came back. Nothing. I texted him several times with no reply. How does someone stay in business when they treat a customer this way? I have no chimney cap and I’m out $250! I would not hire this guy!

Karen, i do apologize. I was in a car accident which you were aware of, thus being the reason for the delay. In terms of the chimney cap, being a one man show and being extremely busy and forgot. Your chimney cap is installed so everything is completed per the contract. Sorry for the inconvenience and delay.

Mathew was amazing to work with. I made the mistake of asking him for gutter guard installation without knowing my recently purchased house already had it installed. He let me know immediately and didn’t charge anything. Would definitely recommend working with him if for no reason than his integrity

Prompt service, clear explanation of the issue and outstanding communication throughout the process. Matt is extremely knowledgeable with no BS. Waste of your time to call anyone else for roofing issues.

Matt is quick to respond after we found a leak in our youngest's bedroom. He had an estimate to us the same day. He was out to do the repair in less than a week before the winter weather could do any more damage.

Matt is fantastic! His expertise and work is top-notch and he stands by it. He's been able to fix problems that stumped many roofers before him. He's easy to work with and prices are fair. I'd highly recommend him.

Matthew was quick to respond, easy to work with and gave us a fair price. Even though we had just asked for a few small repairs, he took pictures on the roof and talked us through the status of our roof (what looked good and things to …

Matt was most considerate and responsive to all requests. His photos before and after his work were most informative and provided confidence that he had diagnosed the problems and fixed them within the parameters given. He went the extra mile to do a job in a timely manner. We are optimistic that his repair work will not only save our church revenue but also last for more than a decade! He even can re-hang gutters from the highest roofs! We liked his work so much, we've called him back three times to our facilities - this time for a roof inspection and repair to keep our roofs in a non-leaking status for another five to ten years! Time and money well spent!

We had leaks at several places in our vaulted ceilings and at a skylight. Matt presented us with photos showing both the causes and his repairs. He also pruned away a few branches that were rubbing against roof shingles. He was very responsive and price was fair. We recommend MB Roofing and would use them again.

Matt solved a roof "leaking problem"—though calling it a leak is like calling Stonehenge a rock pile. I was resigned to letting the rain audition for a role in The Abyss, but Matt showed up, diagnosed, and fixed the mess fast. Budget-wise, I didn’t think repair was feasible, even with the flood scenes pushing me to reconsider. Turns out, I was wrong—and I’m grateful for it. Hire this guy.
