  The customer service is very poor. They never return phone calls. Never give updates on solar panel service. Been trying for 6 months to get solar panels replaced.

  We are very sorry that you are having a poor experience, but your manufacturer is not responding, therefore we cannot provide you answers without permission. Your original installation company is no longer in business, and we have been communicating to you, but do not have much information to provide. There is still no update to provide to you as LG has still not gotten back to us with a response or resolution. We are experiencing the same frustration as you are with the manufacturer but are doing the best to assist you in a situation, we did not originally cause. We did not install your original system and are only trying to help by reaching out to the manufacturer on your behalf. I just reviewed the notes in our system and see quite a bit of contact with you, but little to no information that we can provide to you if the manufacturer is not getting back to us.

  The most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. What should have been a one day project became a 3 month ordeal and still the job was not done correctly. Being someone who is not knowledgeable in roofing or the construction trade, I relied on this company’s workmanship. Big misconception. At every stage, I had to follow up, bring up work discrepancies, document everything, and proactively follow up because there was no communication at all. Understanding that weather was a factor, the ordeal was still 3 months. Again for an individual that has no knowledge of roofing, I kept finding fault after fault. If I go though everything that event wrong, this post will be pages long. Maybe our experience was like this because we were subcontracted and they felted they didn’t not have to put in all the effort- one worker even said “it was not on the work order to complete, that’s why we didn’t check”. They rely more on the work order than their own personal expertise. So yes Marcor will do your roof, but they will not do anything that falls “outside” the work order; even if the “outside” factors affected the longevity of the roof. Again I can write pages of what I went though this company but to save you the time to read, this company does not have your best interests and are not accountable for their workmanship. To top it all off, I never received any calls from leadership/owners especially after requesting multiple times to have some one contact me. It was always just the liaison, coordinators, foreman or the project manager. Accountability and acknowledgment goes a long way. Writing this review in the hope it helps someone else that gets this company subcontracted by the solar company. I was able to find another roofing company that was so beyond knowledgeable and stands by their workmanship. I wish I could write their name here but do not want anyone to think I’m badmouthing Marcor to give them good credit. But please do your research with this company. Someone

I would like to provide some context regarding the structure of your project, as it played a significant role in the communication and workflow challenges you mentioned. We were brought onto this project as a subcontractor for your installation provider. In this capacity, our team is strictly contractually bound to a specific work order and service ticket provided by the primary contractor. While our crews possess extensive roofing expertise, they are limited to performing the exact tasks authorized and approved by the sales organization we are subbing for. Any work deemed "outside" that work order—even if it seems necessary for the project—requires a formal approval process from the primary company. Often, the delays in communication and the inability to pivot on-site are due to waiting on these external approvals, which are unfortunately out of our direct control. I also want to apologize for the lack of direct contact from our leadership. Because we were operating through a third-party contractor, much of the communication was filtered through specific project coordinators and liaisons intended to bridge the gap between the two companies. It is clear that in this instance, that structure failed to provide you with the transparency and accountability you deserved. We appreciate your honesty, as it helps us evaluate how we coordinate with our contracting partners to ensure a smoother experience for homeowners in the future. We are glad to hear that you were able to find a resolution, and we wish you the very best with your home.

  This the worst roofing company around. No one came to our house to assess the job. Had us choice shingles from their website. We chose a brown color and when the started putting the shingles on roof we realized they were gray not brown even though they sre under the “Browns” on their website. They had to remove our solar panels and ghat was fine but now we have been waiting nearly 4 months to have them reinstalled. They have rescheduled 4 times now and the panels have been on my patio all winter. No one with any decision ability answers the phone only the receptionist who listens to my concerns and says she passes them along.

Our company was engaged solely as a subcontractor and received a work order to perform the roofing portion of the project. Marcor does not independently determine customer selections on projects of this nature. Information such as the selected shingle color is supplied to us by the company that holds the customer contract and coordinates the work. We regret that your overall experience has been frustrating and understand your concerns. Because several of the issues described relate to the company managing your project rather than Marcor’s subcontracted scope, we encourage continued communication with that company regarding the outstanding items. We sincerely hope everything is brought to a satisfactory resolution soon.

  I contacted Marcor to get an estemate for my roof, They schedule me for the appointment, It was storming as I live on the coast. The appointment was scheduled for 2:00pm and I waited for 2 hours with no call to confirm they were still coming. I figured they werent showing up. At 4:15 they showed up and appeared professional after they looked at the roof and did their estamate we sat down and discussed what they needed to do. They quoted me roughly arond $36,000 to replace the whole roof and gutters including materials. My home is 1,800 sqft manufactured home. I explained that I am an 80 yr old Veteran on a limited income and I was going to get a few more estamates before I locked in with Marcor. The represenative from Marcor was very pushy after I mentioned getting other options. They gave me 30 days to decide with the price quoted. After I reiterated that I was still going to seek other options The young man got an attitude after we kept going back and forth stating "what would it take to get you to sign this", I AGAIN stated I still wanted to shop around. The young man and I assume his trainee or partner abruptly got up and basically stormed out of the house not leaving the paperwork with the estamate. I was very upset with the unprofessionalisim. They came in very polite and thanked me for my service and stated we will make sure you get a discount. Things changed professionally and needless to say I will not be having Marcor replacing my roof....

  Terrible communication. Scheduled work 3 times and they canceled on me 3 times (twice without even the courtesy of a phone call). I would not recommend this company at all!

  This company is a reap off, what ever you do, please do not patronize them. They replaced my roof in April when I was about to install a solar panel. Now one of the siding is falling off and they want to charge me additional $750.00 plus tax on top of the thousands of dollars I paid to them. The most infuriating thing is that they pick up the phone, say they will call you back, but they never did. Not happy with the company at all.

  We are truly sorry that you feel this way, however, we were only the subcontractor for another company on this project. The area in your photo that you are referencing is specifically stated that no additional work was in our scope of work, that was signed off on by you as this is siding and we were only there for the roof. We were happy to do the additional work for you, however you did not want to pay for any additional work and we were not contracted for any siding work. You also did not spend thousands with us as we were hired for the work labor only from your contractor who was installing your solar panels. We pride ourselves on customer service and would have been more than happy to expand your scope of work, but you did not want to cover any additional expenses in addition to your project. Those damages were not caused by the roofing installation and we did explain that in several conversations. I am truly sorry you are not happy, but it is unfair to sabotage a reputation of a small business over something that we were not contracted for.

  Marcor Construction replaced my roof as part of a solar panel opportunity. The crew was punctual arriving at the time they committed to. They worked tirelessly all day removing the old roof, alerting me that some sheets of plywood needed replacement, which I agreed to. They cleaned up all of the old roof they removed, without a hint of debris. The crew was exceptional, worked non-stop very diligently. The new roof was replaced efficiently and the work that was done looks beautiful. My roof has a overhangs and some tricky spots that they made look easy to shingle. The work was professional and has definitely upgraded my home. Spencer the foreman was a true gentleman and was amazing, organizing the project while communicating each step with the crew allowing the work to be done efficiently and effectively. A job well done and far better than I imagined. Marcor Construction is highly recommended.
