Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We would like to clear up any miscommunication and false information. We were not in the office the day you came/called and returned your call the next day. We came for a free estimate on your leaking shed roof which we did not originally do work on. We only did work on the house roof for the previous homeowner. We gave you a free quote on repairing your shed. We value our customers and reputation and are here for any of your concerns in the future.

So I will start by saying I did not utilize this company. I have a small 2 bedroom 1 bath home with approximately 750 sqft of living space (I'm not sure how much more roof I have if its more than the living space but its small). Dominik …

We are replacing the roof on our home and a detached shed. The house is a basic ranch with a partial dormer. There is a deck on the rear of the dormer that needs to be removed and a doorway closed off / sided in order to complete the roof replacement. We contacted D & S for an estimate based on the fact that Dominick (owner) had done a neighbor’s roof about 4 years ago and he was also recommended by a colleague of my wife who knows Dominick from their community. Dominick was the first of 5 estimates we took. He was a typical salesman (“I’m going to treat your house like I’d treat mine”, deflecting conversation about the job with other topics, etc). Dominick left us a quote for $38,900 for the roof and deck / door removal, siding (patch). His estimate was 2 1/2 times more expensive than each of the other 4 estimates we received (comparing the exact same specs and identical materials). We contacted only GAF certified roofers as we wanted the Golden Pledge warranty on the new roof system so all quotes were “apples to apples”. Either Dominick didn’t want the job (in which case he should have been honest and not wasted my time) or he thought he was assured the job because of a double referral. Needless to say we hired a different contractor with higher certification from GAF and stellar reviews at less than half the price Dominick quoted. Dominick is a smooth talker and will suck up to you to get you to hire him. Trust me, there are better options out there. Don’t be fooled by his “shtick”.

Gutters are of thinnest material and bowed and distorted first heavy rain one month after install. Gutters are not warranted. Only GAF materials are included in GAF warranty, no other chimney or soffit or gutter work.On my second house Dominick did not apply for the GAF warranty he promised instead he gave me a 10 year warranty. And the roof work is questionable. Dominick ripped off my family including a 14 year army veteran. Dominick says all the right things to get the job and does not stand behind his work.

Extremely unprofessional . I've never come across someone with such a lack of common business to customer communication. This gentleman seemed to be really annoyed from the get go. Dominic needs to learn better communication skills without …

Dominic was the most outstanding, kind and thorough person I ever worked with. His crew was amazing. They were neat and cleaned up everything like they were ever there. They worked all day and finished the job quickly. I would say that you should run to use them. I would recommend them highly.

It was a pleasure working with Dominick and his crew from D&S Roofing. They had actually did the roof on my dad’s house some 27 years before and I selected them to replace the roof this past May. They were competitively priced, very prompt and responsive, and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

During a rainstorm, we discovered a leak into our living room. D&S responded within an hour of my call the next day. My 25 year old roof was completely replaced within the week. The gentlemen doing the work were diligent and careful while working on the roof during a heat wave. They always showed up on time and cleaned up every day.

Outstanding work was completed by a professional organization at D&S Roofing co. The men working on this job were very knowledgeable and efficient in completing the project. They should be commended even with cleaning up around the house after all the work was done. Thank you D&S roofing for a quality product installed that makes my house look great!
