  Communication is terrible. Never finished the work. Kept getting the run around. Even my claims adjuster tried calling them multiple times. Finally got a refund for the work they didn’t do took almost 6 months for this. Got a new company who got it done in less than 6 weeks. If I could give them zero starts I would.

  Every step of the way required us to fight tooth and nail to either get information or status updates from Lagunas Roofing. Consistently over-promised and under-delivered what they were capable of and multiple delays due to paperwork being forgotten. At the start, March 2025, they were responsive and met with us and our adjuster for the tree that hit our house. We signed with them, and from there everything went downhill. They agreed to our insurance estimate, or what they claimed they could do of it. Roof repairs for 2 broken trusses, re-doing the roof and shingles on half of the house from the tree, and siding/gutters/etc. We had to fight to get paperwork for the other half of the roof to submit to insurance, who readily approved it. Insurance helped us every step of the way, but working with Lagunas felt like pulling teeth. Roof repairs were completed early June 2025. Except they completely goofed up repairing the two trusses. When called out on that, I had to explain that they had agreed to specific line items on the insurance adjustment and our work order that said the trusses were to be repaired, fully repaired. They had done the shoddiest job possible. They tried to claim it was a low-ball offer, and they don't typically do this kind of work. It took reminding them that we had a contract, they agreed to this work, and signed off on the cost. They claimed it was their previous salesperson who no longer had a job with them. I had to remind them that didn't matter, that gentleman represented their company and entered a work-order contract with us on Lagunas behalf. Late June, they came out and fixed the trusses and did them correctly. At this point, that left completing the exterior repairs. Siding, gutters, soffit, etc. Except siding work required extra approval, because our siding wasn't available. Insurance readily approved it again. Lagunas told us 4-6 weeks. I called in August, oh, it'll be another 4-6 weeks. I called in September, 6 weeks later. "O

  What started out as a positive experience, has turned into a long, drawn out process. We’re approaching 6 months without the job being completed and communication has been poor, at best. I can accept a lot of things if you manage my expectations by communicating, but month after month being in the dark as to what the status is…totally unacceptable. ——— Update: After posting, I got a reply to my review. I was told by the company that I’d have workers at my house today to install the gutters and complete the project finally. Instead, they showed up yesterday unannounced and when I pulled into my driveway, they were installing the wrong gutters. The production supervisor told me they’d show up this morning to install the correct ones. Nobody showed up. Nobody contacted me, either. This is exactly the type of unsatisfactory communication I’m talking about. I called the office and got to talk to Rosie, the AI answering service. I left a message that was never answered. I have no idea if/when anyone is coming to finish the job. In the meantime, I have a dumpster sitting in the street in front of my house for 3 days, a partially eaten tortilla left on my porch by one of the workers and a damaged plant in my landscaping thanks to one of the workers. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. If the owner, who responded to this initially, would be kind enough to call and chat to get this situation resolved, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

  Lagunas put on our roof in 2021 for the previous owner. I have called twice to have someone come out and look at an issue. They told me the warranty is void because it does not transfer with owners. I acknowledged that, and told them it was a non-issue as the important thing is to get the roof fixed. There is water damage to our kitchen ceiling now. On the first attempt, the person in the office took our information and no one ever reached out to schedule. On my second attempt to get in contact, the person did reach out to schedule a time. He no-showed multiple times, and rescheduled 2-3 times until he stopped responding altogether.

  Gladly reach to Michael for the second time, first time I did business with Lagunas was referred by a satisfied customer to repair my son's roof. We liked their job results and business manners hence I called Michael again to repair my storms damaged roof. Michael is friendly, courteous, prompt a true professional. Helpful with the insurance company always looking for my best interest. When I made a mistake against myself and in his favor he quickly let me know and corrected my mistake. Twice he has come true for us. I will not hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him and his company. thanks Michael well done!!!

  Lagunas installed a new roof for us in May. Bradley was great to work with and the work was completed in one day. He even used a magnet broom to collect all of the loose nails that fell. I highly recommend them.

  Laguna's Roofing is reasonable, fast, and friendly company. We had a professional employee named John Peters show up explain the process from start to finish. John was very thorough on his inspection of roof and informative on what we needed to get the job done. The ending results were astonishing masterpiece new look that made the house amazing.
