  I had my roof replaced. The workers were outstanding. No issues. Keystone also replaced a gutter for me. The installer replaced the gutter guard and left a hole where leaves came in. The gutter became clogged. I called and was told someone would get back to me. After on month of waiting I went and unclogged the gutter and replaced the gutter guard. I also had to replace 3 shingles on the new roof that were damaged by the gutter installer. It was not an easy task for me as I am 85 years old and climbing a ladder is hard. I have been in the construction business so I know what is necessary to make a complete installation. I hope I never have an issue with the roof if this is a indication of their follow up.

We sincerely apologize for the poor follow-up you described and especially for the fact that — at 85 years old — you felt forced to climb a ladder to fix issues that should have been handled by us. That is completely unacceptable, and we are truly sorry. After an exhaustive search of our customer database, work orders, phone logs, and invoices, we unfortunately have no record of performing a roof or gutter replacement for you or anyone at your address. This leads us to believe the work may have been completed by a different company with a similar name (there are several “Keystone” roofing companies in our region). We would never want a senior homeowner to be left in this position, regardless of who performed the original job. If you’re comfortable sharing a photo of the invoice, work order, or even the crew’s truck/logo from the day of installation, we’ll do everything we can to help identify the correct contractor and get the issues resolved at no cost to you.In the meantime, please call or text me directly at— I’ll personally make sure someone available to come out, inspect the gutter and shingles, and fix everything properly, whether it turns out to be our job or not. You shouldn’t have to deal with this, period. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to hear from you so we can make this right.   Leaving 1 star bc I wasn’t able to leave NONE! Take your money elsewhere people! First off, they don’t keep appointments. They don’t show up and they don’t care, the secretary is a young girl who has no idea what is going on. The owner promises you he will be at your house for the specific job, but he doesn’t show up for the job, & loves to give you the runaround on the phone. Also, they hire different companies to do different jobs. you might as well just call an entire different company then. They are fast to take your money and super slow to do the job. It will go on for months. And once there’s a problem with the job, good luck getting it corrected! My entire job was done WRONG, i’m not going to get into details but there’s nobody overlooking the job site

  Subject: Complaint against Kestone Roofing and Siding of Howell, New Jersey On October 17, 2024, I signed a contract with Keystone Roofing to replace the shingles on my home. The contract required a deposit of 50%, $7,600.00, which I paid upon signing. The contract stated that the work was scheduled to begin Mid-November 2024. Starting in Mid November the apparent owner, Ed Kuncken and I had several phone calls regarding the scheduling and each time I was told that a crew would be there on a specific date, however, when that date arrived, nobody showed up to perform the work. He always had an excuse as to why the men did not show up. Finally, by Mid-December, the job had not been started, and Ed Kuncken, continued with excuses and without offering a firm start date. Due to the lack of follow-through to start the project, I cancelled the project and requested an immediate refund of the $7,600.00 deposit. Since Mid-December, Ed and I have had numerous text messages and phone conversations where Ed has promised that he sent the check on at least two different occasions, that his bank, TD Bank, sent the check, that his bookkeeper sent the check but she was sick and not in the office for several days, that he was out of the office attending a wedding and would get to it the next day, all of which were just excuses to not return the deposit. Still, today, 4 months after signing the contract, I have not received the deposit.

  Horrible they did my siding wrong 4 times had to take it down put it up 4 times and it's still not right. I'm still waiting for them to finish it it's been 8 months and still incomplete i would ne er use them for anything Horrible experience

  Horrible communication and customer service. Took my deposit and waited 2 weeks for a phone call from them for a scheduled date for roof. I had to call them for a date, then she said 8 weeks, I signed a contract that said 4-5 weeks. And from there on was down hill with their communication and customer service. To much to even write. I will give 5 stars to the worker's that put the roof on finally after alot of aggravation with the office. Thank you roofing laborers for a nice job.
