  I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY. TOO ATTITUDE . FEEL LIKE YOU DEALING WITH BUNCH OF TEENAGERS. I HAD TO PAY THEM 25% OF THE WHOLE CONTRACT VALUE ($4740.00) TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT AS PER THEIR REQUEST WHICH WAS WORTH THE HEADACHE AND FOUND ME A BETTER CONTRACTOR.

  Salaam Tawfik, you signed a contract for us to do work then cancelled the contract, not a contingency, but an actual contract for us to do work. You decided to cancel after we fought for several months with your insurance and agreed on a price to do the work. We got you the funding from the most difficult insurance company so I don’t think we deserve 1 star. Please reconsider. Allah Maak -Meelo Bayakly

  If I could leave zero stars I would. The roof itself looks good, but they punctured my refrigerant line set, and have refused to do anything to rectify this situation. Avoid these guys. To add, based on company response, it should be noted that YES I am an hvac technician, but their guy who they had come out to check, said my leak was in a different spot, which it isn’t. I discovered that it’s been punctured by nails in a spot that is impossible for me to see. I’m an hvac tech, not a roofer. The line is in an inaccessible spot which I’m having somebody else open it up to make the repair. If the company wants picture proof or to come onsite to see it in person, I am more than willing to accommodate. Until it is rectified there will not be a dime sent.

  Hey Cameron! Glad you like the roof. It’s important to note that you yourself are an HVAC technician so when you signed and dated on your production checklist that you had no hvac lines directly on the underside of your decking, we felt you knew what you were talking about. Our contractors noted that they still offered to check but you insisted it wasn’t necessary as you are an hvac tech. Still, after your complaint, We called out and paid a third party HVAC professional to check out the job as a courtesy. He found freon preexisting leaks in your actual unit; however, He did not find the alleged “punctured” line. You as well have not actually found this punctured line. In spite of the fact that we are under no obligation to help you, we did our best to as a courtesy to you as a customer. I’m sorry you can’t appreciate that. Lastly, you still have an outstanding balance of 1,000$ for your roof replacement. Please feel free to contact us about payment options. -Malek

  UPDATE 8/18: We heard directly from Meelo today, and I want to give credit where it's due. He immediately reached out, apologized for what happened, and sent us the requested roof images the same day. I really appreciate how quickly he handled the situation once it was brought directly to his attention. Our frustration was with the weeks of follow-up and the documentation falling through the cracks—not with Meelo or the customer service we received from him today. Thank you to Meelo for stepping in, taking our concerns seriously, and getting the images to us so quickly. We genuinely appreciate his help in getting this part of the issue resolved. Original Review: Unfortunately, our experience with K&M Roofing & Exteriors has been very frustrating. We paid approximately $12,000 for our roof replacement. We were initially told the project should take 1–2 days, but it ultimately took close to two weeks after multiple delays, including an issue with the siding color/material. Our biggest concern has been what happened after the work was completed. Our roof had two layers, which was important to our insurance claim because a partial repair was not feasible. K&M told us they took photographs documenting the roof. We have multiple written messages stating that the pictures exist, that they would be sent, and at different points that they had already been sent. After a month of repeatedly requesting them, we still do not have the photographs. Allstate has also told us they did not receive the documentation K&M said was sent. We received a proposal for the project, but after paying $12,000+, we were not provided a final paid invoice/receipt, which was the first red flag. We have now formally requested our complete project file, photographs, insurance documentation and proof of the previous submission to Allstate through K&M's company email. We have not received a response. At this point, we have spent weeks simply trying to obtain documentation from our own roofing pr

  Meelo did not perform the actual construction on our roof-but he helped us get an appraisal on our roof to get to the next step. He was kind, professional, hardworking and deserves his "5-star" rating. We are very pleased with him and what he charges is extremely reasonable. I will be recommending him for sure!

  I recommend K and M very much. I worked with Eric from the beginning of this project through to the end and he was there every step of the way. Eric is a very knowledgeable and customer focused professional. They were on time and kept the site neat. If you need a roof or have a roof situation with insurance, Eric and his team will sit squarely on your side of the table when dealing with insurance adjuster etc. 1000 stars

  I cannot recommend K&M Roofing enough, especially Meelo. After my insurance company initially denied my roof claim, I felt like I had reached a dead end. To make matters worse, the insurance company even brought in an engineer who also denied the claim. Throughout the entire process, Meelo never lost confidence or gave up. While I was frustrated and ready to accept the decision, he continued to reassure me that the findings were incorrect and that my claim deserved another look. His persistence, professionalism, and knowledge of the process were incredible. Meelo encouraged me to bring in an independent appraiser, and that decision made all the difference. The appraisal proved that the insurance company and engineer were wrong, and in the end, my claim was approved for a full roof replacement. Without Meelo’s determination and willingness to fight for what was right, I would have been stuck paying for a roof that should have been covered. His customer service, honesty, and dedication to his clients are second to none. If you’re looking for a roofing company that truly advocates for homeowners and stands behind their work, K&M Roofing is the company to call. Most roofs don’t fail overnight…they wear down gradually. Once your roof reaches about 15 years old, shingles may become brittle, lose granules, and become more vulnerable to wind, hail, and leaks. Even if everything looks fine from the ground, hidden wear can lead to costly damage. If your roof is approaching 15 years, consider having it professionally inspected and start planning ahead for replacement.32 mins ago
