  Never use this shady company K & M Roofing & Contracting, LLC. They use a fake 10 year warranty guarantee. Two years ago, I discovered water leaking through one of the light fixtures in my bay window. K & M came out, looked at the damage, and concluded that the roof over my bay window needed to be replaced. They replaced the bay window roof, repaired the drywall inside, and charged me nearly $4,000. At no point did they perform a proper water test or thoroughly investigate the actual source of the leak before recommending and completing the work. Fast forward two years. After a major storm, the exact same leak came back in the exact same location—water coming through the same light fixture. Because their work carried a 10-year warranty, they finally came back. This time, they performed the water testing that should have been done before I spent thousands of dollars. The test revealed that the leak was actually coming from under one of my windows, not from the bay window roof they replaced. Instead of taking responsibility for failing to properly diagnose the problem from the beginning, they told me this was a “different issue” and therefore not covered under their warranty. In other words, the work they recommended and charged me thousands of dollars for never addressed the actual source of the leak. To make matters worse, they cut a large hole in my drywall during today’s inspection and then informed me they would not be repairing anything because they now consider it a separate issue. Had they performed the proper diagnostic testing before recommending thousands of dollars in repairs, the true source of the leak could have been identified from the start. Instead, I spent nearly $4,000, lived with the same unresolved problem for two years, and am now facing additional repair costs for what appears to have been the original issue all along.   I had a disappointing experience with this company during a recent estimate appointment. The sales associate arrived 30 minutes early, unexpectedly, while another company's representative was still on-site, which led to an awkward situation. The associate expressed surprise and dissatisfaction upon realizing I was receiving multiple estimates, which I found unprofessional. Despite the mix-up, I tried to accommodate by suggesting the associate proceed with the estimate at the scheduled time. However, he stated he was too busy and promised to return the next day, a promise that was not kept. This incident was unsettling for me, especially taking a day off work to manage these appointments. The lack of communication about the early arrival, the inappropriate response to a standard practice of obtaining several quotes, and the failure to follow up as promised were significant issues. While I typically wouldn't leave a negative review based on an estimate process alone, the accumulation of issues compels me to share my experience in hopes the company sees this feedback as a constructive opportunity to improve their customer service and staff training.

  Mr. Basselyous, thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to provide a response to your review. K&M did an assessment of the repairs needed on your roof, some of which were more extensive. This assessment was discussed with you the Client. The repairs that you chose to do were presented to you in a Proposal along with the cost for performing your chosen repairs. You signed the Proposal agreeing to the Scope of Work and to the associated Cost. It is our standard practice to perform the tasks as proposed and agreed to by the client, which is confirmed when the client returns a signed contract to us, just as you did. Despite only receiving partial payment of the required deposit per the Contract, we started the job in good faith. Upon beginning the Scope of Work that you agreed to in your contract, you immediately tried to convince our employees at the job site to do the additional work that was not covered in your Contract. Multiple times you were told by our employee and the Project Manager that the additional work would have to be done on a separate contract as it would involve additional labor and material costs. We further explained to you that the present Scope of Work would need to be completed, with full payment received before we could address any additional work on other parts of the roof. Even so, you continued to insist that the additional work be done by our employees on site. To date, the contracted work is complete, yet K&M has received less than half of the agreed upon payment. K&M has attempted, three times, to collect the remaining balance due. During the most recent attempt to collect payment we were told by you that we could pick up the payment check from your wife. Upon arriving at your house, your wife said she did not have a check for us and that you were not going to pay us. She called you, put our Project Manager on the phone at which time you were rude, used excessive profanity and refused to pay for the work that was completed unt

  They did a terrible job picking up nails after replacing the roof. Ive had 3 flat tires since the job was completed. DO A BETTER JOB PICKING UP WHEN YOU’RE DONE. Communication was also terrible before the job was to begin. Job was to be completed on one day, didn’t show up, and showed up another day with no notice.

  We hired K&M to install a new roof.Upon the 1st rain it leaked.Their fix was to install a piece to patch the roof.This is unexceptionable fix on a new roof.The roof has bubbled in many places and the wood has bowed up because not properly attached.They have been out 5 times to fix the poorly installed roof with no end in sight.To top it all they ripped brand new wood up and had the nerve to charge us for it. Now it has been weeks since we heard from them. I do not recommend them for a new installation but maybe a quick repair.

  A bit of a delay putting this out there but a huge thanks to K&M Roofing; Mike Jenkins and Freddy for an outstanding experience replacing our existing siding keeping everyone happy. Mike was always on top of the details and kept us informed every step of the way from estimate to conclusion. Freddy's Team were punctual, professional, and delivered a high-quality finished product on schedule that my wife was very happy with. If you want a team that actually follows through on their word and follows up moths after the job is over, this is it!

  Wanted to thank K&M Roofing, Dennis and his crews for repairing some roof damage and reshingling my parent’s house. My folks used them 20+ years ago for a new roof on their 1964 home. They also repaired some rotten wood around front door frame, replaced gutter guards and replaced some windows. Dennis, his crew leaders and crews were professional, efficient and personable. Pricing is reasonable and they are very easy to work with. Highly recommend them.

  Neal (the PjM of my project) and K&M construction, did an excellent job. They went beyond what was expected to help me complete repairs on a property I was selling in time for our closing date. They also were able to update project work quickly when they found additional items to address. When the closing time got moved up unexpectedly, Neal and K&M responded to make sure the property repairs and touch ups were completed so that we could make it. I was really happy and grateful for what they did and for the personal service. Would highly recommend.

  We have used K&M Roofing on two separate occasions. The first time was to replace the roof over our sunroom and then replaced the ceiling in our sunroom. They also painted the ceiling and sunroom walls. K&M Roofing arrived on time for both jobs and were extremely attentive to detail in both their work and clean-up afterwards. Their workers are friendly and knowledgeable of their craft. We were kept informed of their progress every step of the way. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

  Professional and quality work. Mr. Floyd the Project Manager did a great job explaining the roof install process. The entire install team did a wonderful job. I highly recommend K&M Roofing to anyone who needs roof work. They also specialize in other home projects and services.
