  Thank you for updating your review and sharing your concerns. We understand your frustration and want to address your issues thoroughly. We acknowledge that you contacted us on Friday, October 11th, the day after the hurricane, and again on Monday, October 14th. We regret that we couldn’t respond over the weekend due to the high volume of emergency calls from customers with severe damage, such as trees downed on their roofs. However, we prioritized your case and were able to address it on October 18th. Upon inspection and a water test, we found that the leak was caused by the hurricane, which lifted some shingle corners in a zipper effect, allowing water intrusion. The shingles themselves were in excellent condition but needed resealing, which we promptly did. After the repair, we performed another water test and confirmed that there were no leaks detected. We are committed to resolving this issue and as a courtesy we have our interior team at the property today to repair the water stains on the ceiling. Please contact us directly if you continue to experience problems, and we will ensure a swift resolution. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance our quality and customer satisfaction.   Be cautious when choosing this company. Dustin was great when it came to the actual roof installation, however when we changed our minds about reinstalling solar panels and asked for a refund, he lied to us and said that we would be committing felony insurance fraud by not using the money for pool heating, when he knew that was not the case. They are not to be trusted and I do not recommend.

  Jill, first off thanks for choosing JTO Roofing and Solar. We appreciate your business. As one of JTO Roofing and Solar’s managers it is my privilege to address this matter with you. During the course of our work on this job there was a lot of work that we did not charge you, or the insurance company, for. Our Account Manager, Dustin, came to your home and sealed some of your siding with caulk to stop some of the water intrusions into your home. The siding was behind in its maintenance and therefore was not water tight. Dustin advised you to not delay in tending to your siding, as this was a major source of water intrusion. Initially, your insurance company only approved repairing the kitchen ceiling. We spent a lot of time working with your insurance company to get the roof, chimney cap, gutters, and pool solar approved. Prior to the work we had the pool solar evaluated. It was determined that it would not survive a take down and re-attachment. We submitted a supplement to your insurance to get the pool solar replaced so that you could be returned to pre-loss condition. Your insurance company chose to only cover the gutters on the front of the house. JTO Roofing and Solar also replaced the gutters on the rear of the house, per your request, as they were also damaged from the trees blowing against them. During the roof replacement we also had to remove an extra layer of underlayment, replace wood on the deck, replace the skylight, replace the critter guards at the returns, and replace all flashings at the roof to wall junctions, as well as the chimney. We also caulked several areas of siding that could allow water to enter the home which was outside of the scope of work and what your insurance company covered. We came to an agreement with you and your husband that the gutters not covered by the insurance company would be your financial responsibility.   BEWARE! This company commits insurance FRAUD as their main source of business. Do not sign an assignment of benefits form! They will inflate the true cost of fixing your roof 2 to 3 times higher than it actually should cost to pocket the difference! INSURANCE FRAUD

  They did an excellent job. The owner went above and beyond with his customer service and the roofers worked diligently in the blistering sun. They had great attitudes, we're concerned with our safety and did superior work! Would highly recommend!

  I had an outstanding experience with JTO Roofing and Solar and highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services. From the very beginning, Bob Stout,Account Manager Patrick Smith,Sales Manager and Michelle Mays administrative were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive. Their expertise and understanding of Florida’s roofing regulations, insurance requirements, and compliance issues gave me confidence throughout the entire process. One of the things I appreciated most was that I had very little need to communicate directly with my insurance carrier. Bob and Patrick handled the process efficiently, worked closely with the claims adjuster, and kept me informed every step of the way. They took the time to evaluate my policy and helped me understand my options. Given that my policy provided Actual Cash Value (ACV) coverage, I believe they helped me obtain the best possible outcome available under my coverage. The communication from the entire team was excellent. They promptly answered questions, addressed concerns, and ensured that all aspects of the project were handled professionally. In addition, they provided a cost basis for my property as requested, which was extremely helpful. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional, and the completed roof exceeded my expectations.   Jeff came out to give us estimates on installing solar attic fans in our roof. He was extremely detail oriented on checking our whole attic, so we could get the best setup available. He even noticed that the a/c company who did our new duct work had forgotten to reattach the bathroom fan ductwork and Jeff too it upon himself to hook them back up and made sure it was secured properly. We have been longtime JTO customers and always will be. We recommend them all the time to family and friends.

  My husband and I used JTO roofing for roof repair work in the past and they did an excellent job. We reached back out for help on a different project that they weren’t able to take on but Jeff Hood still provided a tremendous amount of information to help us get that project completed successfully too.   First of all is the question of how I found out about JTO Roofing and Solar. In a conversation with an acquaintance of mine, I asked him if he knew of a reputable roofing company and this is when he suggested to contact JTO Roofing and Solar. I did the following and spoke to Account Manager Bob Stout. Bob came by to take a look at my roof to see what needed to be done. Bob recommended that I file a claim with my home owner's insurance, Liberty Mutual. I filed the claim online with Liberty Mutual. Since I am not a roofing expert in any way shape or form, Bob was my direct interface with the insurance carrier's adjuster, since he was familiar with this insurance carrier. My interaction and response with the insurance carrier's adjuster was assisted by Bob to ensure we were on the same page and I did not give the wrong response to the insurance adjuster when the insurance adjuster spoke to me and asked me questions - very important! The contract paperwork was drawn up to get the process moving. Bob answered any questions that I had concerning the process. I had a meeting with Bob at his company's warehouse to pick out the heavy duty shingles and other components for the job. After the permit was issued by the city, the new roof installation commenced, to rebuild the roof and apply heavy duty shingles. There was a considerable amount of work needed to replace roof decking and repair/rebuild several damaged truss ends before the actual application of shingles took place. However, the workflow of the job went very smooth and completed the following evening. (Started on a Thursday morning and completed the following Friday evening) These were professional roofers with decades of experience, so I had confidence that the job would be done right!! The process to get the re-roof project completed was smooth from start to finish. The communication with Bob and other members of his team was consistent and frequent to keep me up to date on progress. So in conclusion,

  I had JTO put on a new roof 5 years ago. Upon noticing a spot on the ceiling, Paul was very prompt to come out and inspect the roof. Finding no issues on the roof now I can rule that out. Thank you for being so kind and courteous when in need! I will be keeping up with my yearly inspections.

  JTO roofing just finished my metal standing seam roof last week. The heat was brutal . heat advisory almost every day Here in Orlando. But the guys kept working with lots of breaks. I worked closely with Toby and Jeff they did everything to make this, a roof that will last me 50 years. Jeff had personally come to the house many times over 10 day to make sure I was satisfied with the work and fixed all my concerns. This was the right decision to go with JTO they stand behind what they sell Thanks Jeff and all the installers for the great Job !!
