  If you just need a roof, they are great. If you have a complicated project or deck build, they struggle. Sales is excellent. Owners are good people. Deck experience leaves something to be desired. Very poor communication- Inaccurate timelines (told us it was a 6 day job that would start 6/30, they didn’t start until 7/3 and it’s still not done as of 7/29)- quality varies and dependent on customer to ensure it’s done right. They will fix issues you report, but they also created the issues and leave it up to the customer to find them. Very frustrating experience, wish we had gone with another company. ETA: a year later and they’re still trying to fix all the issues. Every time they come to fix something, they seem to cause another issue with sloppy work. It’s now structurally sound, and the owner is trying, but this has been an infuriating experience for such a big project. I don’t know if we are just unlucky, because they do have plenty of good reviews. So do not hire this company for deck work unless you’re feeling lucky.

  Leaving one star for now as the job isn’t finished, but I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone for two weeks. The salesperson we worked shared that he left the company so I’m hoping this is a big misunderstanding. Please contact me. There are materials in my yard getting rained on and my roof needs to be finished.

  I had my roof damaged in a hail storm last year and Johnathan stoped in and wanted to do a free estimate and had us sign a paper that allowed him to contact our insurance company. we made it clear at this time that we still weren’t sure which direction we were going to go. There was a lot of unnecessary back a fourth and poor communication that contributed to our decision to use a different company. After our roof was replaced by the other company, Johnathon reached out to us saying we owed him money. We asked for a a copy of the supposed contract we signed saying that we promised to pay a named amount of money. In return we got sent a a generic “terms and conditions” but no signature in sight nor had i ever seen the document. Johnathon then complained that we had wasted his time and he had made “countless” trips to my residence and spent “numerous” hours working on our “case” I feel like it’s worth mentioning that I didn’t reach out to Johnathon for this estimate- he showed up at my residence and approached me as I was doing yard work. Overall the entire experience just felt very unprofessional and shady.

  Poor communication and did not stick to what original plan -2 weeks became 34 days . Project manager was the worst / unprofessional, disingenuous, unresponsive , and more. We had to deal with our salesperson as he would not respond . Said they would show up - never did Never called, dropped off materials in our street . I think they should stick to roofs ! Final project is fine but all of the aggravation dealing with them was not worth it .months after this review we find out they didn’t get proper inspection from the city and now have to undo some work and redo it . I would give a 0 if I could

  Communication was not the best through this whole process. After they received the down payment from me is when communication started to go downhill. After the roof was finished, I was expecting an individual to connect with me and go over everything that was done and give them final payment like I was told. My roof was completed on July 8th and they did not connect with me and receive payment until August 25. Numerous times I was left on delivered and no one responded back to me. The roof did come out good and I am thankful for that.

  John ,Justin, and the crew did a.great job. They started at 7am and was done by 1pm. I think it was 35 squares of shingles. If you need shingles installed JT Roof would be the crew to get the job done.

  I would highly recommend JT Roofs for anyone wanting top notch workmanship for your homes exterior needs. Joe Boeke was outstanding from start to finish with his expertise knowledge of the job being done, going out of his way several times to make sure everything was being done to satisfaction. Joe is a very caring, dependable and trustworthy young man who will put your mind at ease with all the big difficult decisions that have to be made when it comes to any of your home projects.   Joe Boeke did a wonderful job installing my parents' deck. He was kind, professional, and very informative throughout the project. The workmanship was excellent, and everything turned out beautifully. I highly recommend Joe for anyone looking for quality work!

  We put off getting a roof for months because we could not find a contractor that we trusted. Our job had several facets that needed attention.From the very beginning, Jeff’s crew was very attentive to our needs. They made several trips out to make sure the roof was gonna match colors and even made several suggestions to enhance the job. They showed up on time and did the entire roof in just a little over one day. High remarks to Jeff and his crew I would recommend him for any Rooffing Project!! Great job! Thank you!

  We had our deck replaced and the work was impeccable. The team was professional. The results were amazing. They were in constant contact every step of the way, ensured our satisfaction and Joe and John were great to work with.

  I have spent years looking for someone to rebuild our second story deck. I ran across JT roofs ad on Facebook and from the minute they came out to talk to me. I was impressed. Andrew has done a great job of giving us an estimate, talking us through the process and keeping us posted as to when the crew would arrive. He also came out to follow up and make sure that we were happy Rodolfo and his crew did a beautiful job and we could not be happier with our deck!!

  After the storm, John and Joe stopped to offer a free tarp. They could see the tree branches on our roof. While we not need a tarp, they cleared most of the branches from the roof. They showed us photos of a damaged vent and chimney cap. Then they offered advice on the insurance claim. Very friendly and courteous.

  Had to have our roof replaced which was not only shingles but some metal as well. JT Roofs did an excellent job. Liked this company from the start as they responded right away. Jonathan Phillips was great through the whole thing, answering any questions we had right away, made the financing process very easy. Very professional, stayed on top of the communication, and was very patient with the delays on our end. Would definitely recommend this company and would recommend to work with this gentleman.
