Had an appointment for a consultation scheduled today between 8-9am...was given a confirmation text of who was coming and date and time...NO ONE SHOWED UP..NOR DID I GET I CALL EXPLAINING WHY...Not the way to start off if you are looking to get a roof serviced...seem like their agenda matters more than the people who actually want help...0 stars...but I had to choose 1 star to let everyone know. UPDATE: Clayton texted me a few days later after the no-show saying that he was at my house at 730am and rung my door bell with no answer...I have cameras. Nobody came to my door at 730am nor was a phone call or a text given stating he was outside. In the message, he also asked if we could try again for another appointment/consultation. I agreed to give a second chance. We agreed on the following Friday and between the times of 10am-1pm. AND AGAIN, A NO-SHOW! Now I received a text asking if I still need a roof from a different person. If you are looking to replace or repair your roof, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. You WILL possibly get the run around and lied too like I did. USE CAUTION!

After getting our roof replaced, our electric bill went up $100 a month and are a/c did not keep up as well. After having a guy, come inspect our attic, he then informed us that the duct work was smashed in several different places! Do not hire these people because they are absolutely careless!

I hired John Beal Roofing in April 2025 for a gazebo metal roof installation. The project was not completed until January 2026, and the process involved repeated delays, missed appointments, and significant communication issues. Throughout the project, there were multiple occasions when I was told crews would arrive and they did not, resulting in lost time, schedule disruptions, and frustration. There were also repeated delays due to various issues, including vehicle problems and product-related issues. The project had several ordering and communication problems. The first product delivered was the wrong color, and the company acknowledged that error. The replacement product appeared different from what had been represented in emails from their representative. I had not received an actual color sample, and after the delays already experienced, I accepted the color to avoid further delays. However, additional delays continued due to issues with the skylight, including miscommunication regarding the order and a damaged product being received. Communication throughout the project was one of my biggest concerns. I was often not kept updated on progress or changes. There were multiple occasions when crews arrived without advance notice, despite being specifically instructed that I needed to be notified by phone or text before anyone came to my property. Additionally, I was unable to communicate directly with the onsite crew and had to rely on third parties to relay questions, instructions, and information, which added another challenge to an already difficult process. During one unannounced visit, the crew left my gate open while they were still on my property, and my dogs got loose. Thankfully, no one was injured, but I sustained a foot injury while trying to retrieve them. I notified the company and provided updates while seeking medical care, including a specialist visit. Despite being informed of the incident and my ongoing medical care, I never received acknowle

Our roof was replaced in 2020. Soon after, water began pouring in through a can light in the ceiling. Their inspector came out. The company sent a crew to tear off the entire original roof and redo it. Several years later, water poured in again this time through a valley. The front porch ceiling soaked up the water and collapsed. Inside, more water poured in through the drywall ceiling. The technician said the leak came from organic material trapped under a shingle. They removed it, but two weeks later, water was pouring in through the same spot. A technician came again and sealed the valley, but now the plywood underneath is wet and spongy. Now, the roof is out of warranty, and we’re left with the cost of getting this valley repaired sustainably.

Beware.....After months of run around. John Beal backed out on doing my siding after taking care of my roof. Now I'm left trying to find someone to do my siding after the hail storm in May.

Over a year later and our house is still not completed. Hired shoddy 3rd party crews who did more damage than good and left our home property and yard a mess. Called numerous times to get this resolved and requested a call from the CEO …

The company charged ridiculously $100 per plywood for replacement. This was the first for us to have replacement for roof damages. Initially the person sent by the company, Brock, told me to schedule an appointment with insurance adjuster to come to do assessment, and that he would meet with the adjuster. BUT, on the day Brock texted saying he had meeting after meeting and that he could not make it to meet the adjuster on my house. He also said later that the roofing company DIDN'T deal with insurance DIRECTLY and that he wanted me to tell him what adjuster said after assessment. He didn't send enough photos of roofs after replacement was done. BUT he showed up ON TIME to collect the remaining payment. My insurance adjuster said that this roofing company asked too much. The plywood charges were ridiculous. A piece of plywood cost less than $40 dollars, which I checked afterwards. Again, this was the first time for me to change roof. The guy was very sneaky. Make sure that you have both adjuster and roofing guy come together to talk about the assessment.

I had water dripping in my living room. After solid recommendations, we called. Within 2 hours on a Friday at 11 with rain potentially coming all weekend, they had Ray at the house with a tarp to cover the area...saved me before it rained that night. Matt worked all weekend (we had no history with them) and arranged material to be dropped and the work was completed by mid day Tuesday. That's crazy and unbelievable service. Everything looks great. I doubt if I would ever get a bid from anyone else if I ever needed roofing help again. Loyalty matters. They create that. Thank you.

Roof replaced by JB in July of 2026. Todd Fyffe was my POC and was outstanding, very responsive, always picked up the phone and communicated very well. I’ll be recommending Todd/JB to friends and family.

Great work and great service! My salesman, Matt Trautman, manually filled out insurance forms after I had paid in full to help me get a discount on insurance.

Roof was great! Workers was very good. Only gave 4 stars because it took a minute for someone to come back out to make a correction. Otherwise all was good! No one ever pressured me to have the roof done.

We had a choice of 2 different A+ rated companies to chose from and we chose John Beal because I had met them from where I had worked and was very impressed with their politeness, and consideration. We were not disappointed with Wilcox from the moment he came to our house and all though the whole roofing process. He is polite, considerate, knew what we were looking for and made us feel like one of the family. We could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend Wilcox and John Beal to anyone in need of a new roof.

They did an excellent job. This is the second time they’ve done work for us. I have no complaints. I will call them for any repairs in the future.

John Beal replaced my roof in Sept 2021 and did a great job. Their crew of 8 showed up before sunrise, took just a 30 minute lunch break, and finished after sunset. The architectural shingles roof has held up very well. Also, in May 2025 they patched a hole in my roof from a tree limb falling and I was even out of town at the time. They were very easy and convenient to work with.
